    Beautiful shelf. Excellent descriptions and above all the part I like the best is your excessive attention to detail, including but not limited to your measuring and marking.
    Too often I watch DIYers who work on wood projects and tend to eyeball markings. For their intended project perhaps for them, it is good enough, but I rather the attention to detail as it limits mistakes and always brings exceptional results, as your shelf so eloquently exhibits. Thank you for your time.

      Hello friend! I'm speechless to describe the satisfaction I felt when reading your comment. It gratifies all the effort I'm putting into showcasing every detail of each project... Not to mention that I record in another language and then it's dubbed into English.... All the work is worthwhile, especially when I receive a comment like yours.... Thank you very much for your support!.... May God always be with you and your family!

    Love the project but would've liked to know what it was you were making at the beginning. Great tutorial! Loved that the saw wasn't loud in the video!

      100% CORRECT! I used to train people in a certain discipline. The format was, ILLUSTRATE, DEMONSTRATE, PARTICIPATE.
      I showed them WHAT they would be doing; I then showed them HOW to do it; I then got THEM to do it by participating.
      Too many UA-camrs make the mistake of not building INTEREST in the project at the BEGINNING by showing the finished product.

      Hello Mike! Thank you very much for the words of support, my friend. I'm glad you're enjoying it.... Regarding the coloration, I used a special dye for varnishes and sealants in the color 'Ypê'. I believe you won't find this color in your country, as I searched on Amazon and couldn't find it; it's a shade of brown.... I hope this helps! .... God bless you!

    9 out of 10 videos on UA-cam about wood working are always with someone with a shop full of expensive wood working equipment.. How about showing some skill level without all of the shop equipment. How about just using simple hand tools to accomplish the same task. Most DIYers don’t have expensive equipment.. How about just using a circular saw, drill, palm sander, handsaw, framing square, etc..etc.. And not to mention, using your garage floor to build your project on..

      Hi Richard! A "centimeter" is a unit of measurement in the metric system, equal to one-hundredth of a meter. It's commonly used for measuring length or distance. Let me know if you need further clarification! Wishing you health, peace, and happiness in all your projects!

    In the British metric system based on the S. I. It was decided that centimetres would not be used due to the fact measurements could be confused with Imperial Measurement. The agreed units to be used in engineering drawings etc, were millimetre, metres and kilometres. So I instead of saying 7.5.cms the easier to follow 75 mms would be used.

      Hello Frank! I'll always be focused on continuous improvement, but the measurement system used is universal, and some say it can be more accurate than using inches. In my opinion, it's just a matter of getting used to it..... I hope that the measurement system used in the videos doesn't deter you from the channel. I also don't intend for you to change the measuring tape you use, but regardless of the measurement system used, there will always be people who prefer another. Presenting conversion in the videos would make the content tedious and difficult to produce. I hope you understand!.... May God bless you and your family!

    WTF is a centermeter?

    • @WoodArtReal
      @WoodArtReal  6 місяців тому +1

      Hello friend! Just to explain, 1 centimeter (cm) is a unit of length in the metric system. It is equal to 0.3937 inches. To give you a better idea, there are 2.54 centimeters in an inch. So, 1 centimeter is a bit less than half an inch. This can help you convert measurements from the metric system to the imperial system that you might be more familiar with. Hope this helps!

      We are in a global community. We imperials can easily pick up a metric tape, use an on-line converter or do the math as stated below. Asking other to do things as we do is rude and egotistical, especially using the word “only”.
