Off topic kind of..but from seeing that some of these players are looking into the history and are now realizong how big of a deal it is to play for a program with history like Kentucky. This team is going to be celebrated. We have players who actually want to be here, rather than just using it as a stepping stone to the NBA (for the most part).. In the next few years, we'll be sending players to the league who might not have made it elsewhere, thanks to the recognition and development they'll receive here. If Pope can coach these players to success, he'll attract top transfers to pair with talented freshmen, creating a powerhouse program. Coach Pope is ahead of the curve. Duke can only hope to have such a smooth transition as we did because they are headed in the direction that we were you can't win with freshman anymore.
Lance, can we do some coverage on the Defense aspect of the team? I feel like that's where I have alot of uncertainty. I know Butler is a solid defender, but would love some in depth on what we are looking like as a whole defensively. Forgive me if you've already done this previously and I may have missed. ✌️
It seems like people are accepting them to have a good defense. What is we got solid is defense at the two extremes, center and point guard. I think if they can learn to play as a team will, it will amp things up for some of the other guys. Looking at every oper player individually I don't have too much uncertainty personality. Alot of these guys have played against some of the best guys out there in the ncaa. Trust in Pope
We have some nba type bodies, experience, defensive anchors and the versatile nature of the team Pope’s coaching philosophy will make sure we have "halfway decent" defense knowing their shooting and passing ability
They should have streamed it for like $25 for say us people that lives in Western Kentucky and not able to miss work to go. But it's all good just wait another week before being able to watch them.
I think the players I would like to hear something more on is garrison , where he fits into rotation and what he can do in foul trouble step up situations, chandler , how does someone that was one time ranked a high recruit perform after 2 years off and brea , i hear shot 50% and want to shoot 35 3s a game 1 + 1 = 2

I hope UK Atheletics gets the highlights done within 30 minutes after the game ends

I agree with Robinson leading in scoring or the kid from Wake Forrest
The most hype people have been for UK wildcats and they decided not to air it. Epic fail.
Can’t watch it either
Cant watch the game? this sucks
Bro it’s a practice 😂😂 you’ll be able to watch the rest of the games this year. 1st exhibition is Wednesday
@@derekmiles9069 I know now they did it for tickets for NIL, I am fine with that action.
