I've never heard anyone like him. He is like a mix between a preacher/ a life coach, and and comedian
I'llwe
His act is well rehearsed and well written. His life story is his material which makes him real while delivering brilliant ROFL punchlines. I can see the preacher side as well... all good
Hear, hear. For sure enjoyed watching and hearing this man.
I have worked with a man almost identical to this guy.. He's pretty great! It was a bit surreal watching it like an opposite reality in the matirx or a mirror world.
Without the jokes.
There's something incredibly wholesome about this man. He is as much a delight to listen to as he is funny.
I like how he rambles unendingly
Because there's no spite to any of his jokes.
@@Martial-Mat An excellent observation!
@@LukenUSee Thank you.
Oh, so you to play Warframe, I respect you fellow Tenno
If he was a preacher, I would never miss a Sunday in church.
That, dear Sir, was a delightful to watch and hear. Thank you.
Amen !
You're preaching to the choir!😂😀
Sounds like a mix between a preacher and a carny
If you ever come to Sacramento California, go to Thrive Church.....our pastor is funny like this and earned the title The Sermonater
our ears itch for fancy orators who know how to speak well. albeit a nice thing to have. Truth is irrelevant to the delivery.
he’s a gentleman who tells jokes. I could probably listen to him telling stories for hours. Very entertaining. Thank you!
Not just clean but very clever and such a natural. Brilliant entertainer!! Well done...thanks for the laughter🙏Brett
Agreed. Very much enjoyed his set. Funny and whitty. Kudos my guy. 👏👏👏👍😎
kinda unrelated but you should look up the history guy
"We're an interracial couple. Yes, we are - I'm from Kentucky and she's not a relative"
😂
That hits close to home in Utah.
💖😂
p.p.p.pretty spicey so I laughed so hard!
I'm from Ky. and still live there. I laughed until I cried when I heard this joke.
@@galeweaver790 Did your cousin... I mean your husband laugh too?
Being from Louisville, and living in Jeffersonville, and being a 68 year-old pet owner, I could relate. Haven't laughed out loud at the computer in a long time. Love it, Mark!
"She thinks we have her twin sister trapped in the stove." 😂😂😂
Originally from jeffersonville. Lived on corner of morris ave and 8th st lol now i live in mclean virginia. Who knew grewing up in jeffersonville of all places would lead me to working for the govt.
Well I work for the government in - Jeffersonville. For the U.S. Census Bureau.
I wish I could like this multiple times. Romance isn't dead. I love Mark Klein. Dry Bar Comedy, you've introduced me to some of my new favorite comedians. Thank you so much.
(Moe's gf Mary) Hello Dwight! I'm so glad you watch Dry Bar Comedy too, as I prefer to hear a comedian's routine far above the din of clinking dishes & glasses too. And I rarely drink - partly because of the clinking and clanking & also, because my parents & grandparents did all my drinking for me! So it's really nice to imagine my watching these comedians at the same time as you. Oh, and I really liked the therapist character you played on "Mom", so well done! Hope to see you on TV again soon!
Me too
This is about all I watch for standup for a while now. We are lucky to have this channel.
You can like it as many times as you want, just make sure it's an odd number of times if you want it to count 😉
Bears, beets,.....
“In college and majoring in burning currrency”. I have two kids in college and that’s the funniest thing I’ve heard lately.
He has the rhythm and cadence of the old school. I thought this was impossible to see nowadays.
You are so right
Yes! So refreshing
You're right, he does have a sort of old-fashioned charm. I could listen to him talk forever
His delivery reminds me of a southern preacher.
@@otak3133 That's what I thought, too.
"You're trying to raise a good parent." Most people forgot that a long time ago.
To heck with the kids. I was married 11 years and Lord knows that "I" would have made a good parent *, except that THEIR toys would have also been "MY" toys 🤗**
I do declare, he was a complete joy to watch. His flow from joke to joke, story to story was flawless.
I knew I liked this man when I recognized the cruise ship patois. Gosh I love a cruise ship comedian. They're ridiculously practiced and very, very good at their audience. This man is a dang gem.
The biggest thing I miss about working on a cruise ship was the performers I got to know. Mark Klein is a solid example of why I miss those guys. I love it.
I feel like I'm watching one of the all-time greats, when I'm enjoying this dude. It's obvious that he has put in the time, and, honed his professionalism. It's kinda amazing that he's not already widely-known, when you look at some of the other comedians who keep getting opportunity after opportunity to fail.
This was incredibly entertaining for a number of reasons.
@Southwestern Sunset Who you referring to?
I think I just saw the holy grail of comedy.
Old school, no foul language, story telling comedy
I like this 👍🏻
This has been a wonderful experience in life, love, and laughter. Your family, without a doubt, adores you.
Thank you for providing comic relief in a moment when I was alone and scared. Comedy helps get me through some tough things. Please know that for a few minutes I had the sincere privilege to just be a person being entertained. I appreciate you. God bless.
May God help you, Missy Bliss.
Facing something myself this week- I too enjoyed the reality escape- even for a few minutes.
May God guide you through theses tough times
Yep Missy, ain't everyday you come across a real gem of a person. Stay blessed lady.
You seem lovely, I hope you're feeling better still, we're not alone in this if we can support each other with kind words like yours. Another great set on this channel is Karen Rontowski's 'Wyoming is Boring,' she has a quirky viewpoint that whisks you away! Good luck and God Bless.
To be able to tell a story so sincere that is is a lesson in life and to articulate it into humor and comedy is amazing and rare. This man truly has a gift. He can also sell a blind man a pair of reading glasses.
" If it kills you, we make it" iconic, lol
Mr. Klein is either channeling a Southern preacher, an auctioneer, or a carnival barker. The cadence, the vocabulary-it’s there.
I almost bought the kitchen knives, but I realized he didn't mention a number to call 😋
Yes! Exactly my thoughts
Welcome to Louisville.
He's my favorite so far. He reminds me of Will Rogers, warm hearted humorous stories. And it's wonderful that he's a Southern gentleman.
We Kentucky guys are good people.
@@jerrypuckett6733 Well, and we gals too. Where are you from? Cynthiana here.
@@atlantic_love Lexington.
@@jerrypuckett6733 I lived there back in the mid 1990's, now live in Northern Kentucky.
I've watched many Dry Bar Comedy performers and never have I laughed as much as while watching Mark Kein. I've enjoyed most of the Dry Bar I've watched, because I think the performers have to work just a litter harder to come up with a good routine because they have to keep it clean. Thank you, Mr. Klein, for a half hour of solid laughter.
Mark is an absolute life affirming old school comic, Im a bit short of his age but I can relate to everything he talks about, My 12 yr old Daughter who often stops by to see what makes her Pa laugh is now by virtue of her own laughter realising that she shares her Fathers sense of humour.
Sooo im off to search more Dry Bar comedy for Mark Klein lol
I can see you, Mark Klein, doing college commencement speeches. You’ve got a lot of wisdom and talent. Our future needs more of that.
Hello. You're very beautiful.
Hooked by the jokes, stayed for the charisma
Well said
Indeed
Teehee. Good one.
He's amazing😍.. Nice to see a fellow Kentuckian making folks laugh 😍💕
The chicken bit was very clever. It even roped me at the end when he was like, "I brought a roll of quarters and beat that bird"... WP Mark. You sir are funny.
You sir, are something. I've never heard of your style, nor experienced anything like it. But I'm in awe and disbelief about a man being so cheerful in this time and thank you for being that man who brings cheer to others. Well wishes from Ceylon, South Asia.
His comedy is great in that he emphasizes his topic every time he begins a bit, he is extremely articulate, and has a great sense of timing.
How does he both speak very quickly and very slowly at the same time? He's funny but definitely a different breed! 🤣 I love that he talks about Savannah. I love it here. 😁
It's called cadence.
Mark Klein is great! I hope they have him back again, and again, and again.
What a humble and hilarious guy!
Comic…preacher…salesman…multitalented. Great set.
Sophisticated comedy with a southern twist. Beautiful.
Hes like a a sales man- inspirational speaker- comedian - too funny
Very true, I actually met him in a sales group here in Kentucky, and he always made sure the group had fun.
@@chspyderr awesome
he is actually a motivational speaker too.
@@justsomedude77 thought so- that's why i said inspirational speaker- same thing- he's great😄
Absolutely. I thought the same.
Best story teller and super wholesome and respectful 🙏
I really enjoyed Mark Klein’s humor!!! So compelling, I listened closely to every word he said! His set was Smooth and moved at a really quick pace. Mark you’ve tied the generations together & I love how your hometown values were woven throughout your stories. You’ve made me laugh, you’ve made me think, you’ve made me wonder, & you’ve made me thankful for people like you! I had a wonderful time.
Most appreciated!
"Sir we don't serve 85yr old coffee "🤣
"she towers over me like the angel of death " 🤪
I'm from Louisville, Kentucky, and loved every minute of this.
Me too. Valley Station.
South East Kentucky here
I lived in Louisville Kentucky in the summer of 1973
Cynthiana, Kentucky here.
This guy is gold, hope everyone finds the time to laugh every day 😁
I'm sitting here in Chapel hill NC and this sweet Southern man just lifted my spirits. I was feeling sad because the return of the new Covid Delta strain has cancelled several of the social clubs that were planning to re-open. If there was any doubt that humans are a tribal species, - Covid has proved that we are clannish. We need each other.
Hi fellow Tarheel!
well...I'm sitting here in Las Vegas thinking the same thing. I believe all this angry backlash and unrest is just because of that very fact. we are desperately frustrated. we do need connections, physical ones. hard to get them nowadays. ☮
If your mostly southern politicians…who probably are vaccinated would stfu and people truly cared about each other and had a functioning, logical brain, everyone would get effing vaccinated and this whole disaster would maybe have a fighting chance of being over and all our activities, clubs, socials etc. could resume. First Trump and now his legacy of mindless morons are just infuriating to reasonable people?😡😡😡😷💉💉🇨🇦
@@missg.5940 Hello! I’m one of the many “Southern Morons” of which you speak. I’m guessing you are specifically talking about DeSantis from Florida & Abbott from Texas. 2 of the states which have had some of the lowest number of cases despite the fact that they’ve let over a million (& counting) illegals in through our Southern border. I wish things were as simple as what you’re describing because this all could be easily solved. I wish all these babies they are pushing through would not have to experience the abuse of trafficking, because they’re very rarely with their families. I wish the Biden-loving Cartels would care more about human lives and rights than they do about the drugs (& things) they run. The border patrol now has some help, not by our government unfortunately. Other states have sent resources, which now includes the national guard to assist in guarding the border, towns, people!
As I’m sure we can agree, there’s many problems in our world and so many people we can blame, if we so desire. I don’t feel that’s the best way I can use my resources. If I can’t be an integral part of the solution, I can at least pray for those who are. If we can help each other up when we’re down, maybe simply by not being discouraging, isn’t that considered an important role to our fellow man? That’s what I choose. I hope we all can give it consideration, to love one another! Many blessings to you & your family throughout this difficult time. If today is not great, look forward to a better day….can’t go anywhere but up, right? Smile 😊 🙏💕
@@missg.5940 the shot is messing people up health wise, and killing people. Look at everything that's been said about it.
I felt like I was at the carnival listening to his speech pattern. Loved it and all his punchlines! 👌🏽💯😆
Holy moly, it's like Rich Little and Steve Martin got Blended.
I was born and lived the first half of my life in Kentucky. This guy is spot on .🤗🐝❤️
Amazing comedian, wisdom and laughter combined. Never seen that before.
Old or not this Guy has a good flow and variety of Jokes.👍🏻😉
I'm a baseball player from the 80s in Oklahoma, we supported Kentucky for half a century
I do not understand.
He sounds like a Baptist preacher /comedian !SO FUNNY!
Lets get real, baptists dont laugh.
Enjoyed the humor. Very funny comedian! Not everyone can bring out laughs that easily.
Talks like the preacher in the Baptist church I went to as a little kid.
This Louisville girl loves Mark. Thank you. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🙋🏻♀️
" You're in a fight, you don't know it and you've lost ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ". 😂😂😂😂
When he started to talk about where the dog slept I nearly shot wine out my nose
I'm so glad to see President Bush found a new career.
🤣
Seriously I’m surprised more people haven’t pointed it out I agree !
😁😁😁
Steve Martin/Rich Little. George's voice.
And as ornery humorous as one of my own uncles.
Have to say I really enjoyed the entire show.
Agree. I started watching with my eye on the clock, but I had to see it to the end.
I realized I had gotten old the day I was watchin’ a Gilligan’s Island rerun, an Mrs. Howell was lookin’ HOT!
That is hilarious! So relatable.
Dang
How can you not love, Lovey?
LOL...
I'm looking at Ginger and Mary Ann and I'm thinking .. Give me the county chick Mary..
You should be on the stage with that man:-) very funny thank you:-)
Mark Klein - he's the Best! he's the Best, he's the Best! Thank you so much, Mr. Klein, for flooding my body with gallons of serotonin and every other happy hormone created for man. A smile will not leave my face!
If I'm 300 feet below water, I ain't checkin' the time eitherrr 😂 hellnawww
Watching this today (Dec. 12th) and reading comments of people who live in KY or from there originally. Prayers going out hoping you and family are safe post-tornado / storms.
✨ Mark Klein ✨
What a showman! 😂 I'm giving a standing ovation for your wit, delivery, and humanity. Thanks for making my day. Hope you see this. Thank you Drybar Comedy for posting this talent.
First time seeing this guy. He's so good.
Must say that I have watched maybe ten or twelve shows off this channel, after 2 or 3 came up in my feed and I enjoyed them, I subscribed, and I have yet to be disappointed. Keep it up, I enjoy the content.
Laughter IS the best medicine.
This is a wonderful change of pace. Even if a particular speaker on DB doesn’t tickle you, there are plenty more that will. The lack of down right meanness and profanity is so refreshing.
@@relsba You're so right!
This is the BEST Dry Bar comedian EVER!
I was locked-in the entire time and I really enjoyed the extras: wisdom and insight-it’s unusual to be so well-entertained.
I really like Mr. Klein's timing and delivery. I really really like him!
As someone born and raised in North KY, this man is 100% accurate
And he’s probably related to you lol
@@prepperjonpnw6482 undoubtedly, but don't make no never mind- we love ❤ you family or not.
I love this guy! He has such a great narrative style.
How married are you? "I'm flat broke, and I've lost the will to live. You tell me." 😆😆😆 Well worth watching, all the way through. Loved his final advice. Seems like a great human being. 🥰
Very eloquent and wholesome comedian. Just wonderful. Thank you.
A delight to listen too and enjoy. Smooth and effortless, just like a good Kentucky Bourbon. A joy to watch a comedian who relaxes you while you laugh and teaches you about how blessed we are to laugh.
I was today years old when I learned: I cannot see any better while driving in a dense fog by holding my face closer to the windshield.
OH, my word: the jokes were wonderfully clever; the science, tho, won me over for life!
Love this guy have him on more often. 🖒Great show!!
Great solid laffs all the way through. Funny, clever set.
Hes a genius for sure. Super smart. I loved this. Thanks.
What I liked about him, he clean comedian.
Family oriented comedian.
It's safe to watch him without feeling disgusted with any profane words or acts.
Thank you 😊 🙏🌹
An adorable and funny guy, very down-home kind of guy!
This guy was great! I really enjoyed his show. Glad I decided to check it out. 👍
Nothing short of brilliance!
My grandfather sounded a bit like this. He just passed away but it reminded me of him. Thank you sir for sharing your talent and bringing back some good memories ❤
That was just wonderful! Clean, witty, thought provoking, true, and honestly - I loved his life lessons! Pearls of wisdom! Love it!
Mark helps, through this pandemic. His words hit home, even way up here in Canada. I understand the argument(s) over the dog. Imagine there being three dogs, and all the 'misunderstandings' I apparently made over the years.
I’m currently living with 2 rescue puppies, my wife and daughter... and everything he says is right on! I’m so outnumbered.
I wasn't born in Kentucky, but I got here as quick as I could. And I approved this message.
He makes me want to go to Kentucky lol 😂
It's boring here.. but there's lots of hotels
I truly enjoyed every minute of his set. 💛
Science has shown rats laugh, it's just inaudible to humans. Primates can play jokes, and dogs respond to laughter. Humor and delight are shared amongst many. And that's a beautiful thing.
did you catch the donkey laughing at the dog that got electric-fenced on tik tok?
65 different species of animals have been shown to laugh. I'm not sure why he kept saying otherwise, was kinda weird.
Sure...🙄
The legend says there's a rat laughing somewhere right now in the forest. 😂
Fair enough, but don't tell Mark.
Might spoil the sentiment.
This guy really puts some special meaning into his routine. That was very enjoyable
Highlight of my day! Thank you Mark & Dry Bar. 😂👍
Definately a 1 of a kind!! Very good !! Thank you!!😊
A truly intelligent interesting philosopher comedian! Love him. His wife must have lots of laugh line.👍😁👏
I don't think I have ever had so many belly laughs at an act that was so clean! Great job!
Former Kentuckian here. Loved this guy's material. Hot home often, but I bet he did that for most no matter where you're from. What a pro!
This man had to have been a southern Baptist preacher. I would put money on it 😆
Just found this guy so wholesome
Need more like you
Run faster than your nightmares that's a good one
"I like my women like I like my coffee."
That's cute sir, but you don't have to pay for the coffee here, it's free.
"How married am I?" "Well, I'm flat broke and lost the will to live - you tell me."
"And there's not a woman in the world whose disappointed that I am married... well... there is one..."
OhMaGawsh!! He's a genius!! Love this so much! 🥰
Love these older comedians, I'm 60 and I get it.
Thank-you for the laughter. No dirty words, no innuendos. Leav'em laughin' and wanten more. You fit the bill.🥰

Laugh Every Day.
That's good stuff. 💜
I just loved this. So refreshing
What an endearing, engaging and warm man. And funny too.
I just found Dry Bar Comedy and I love it. Here is one of my family's jokes. My great uncle Allen made the best carrot cake. Two versions. When serving it he would ask whether the recipient wanted male or female carrot cake. When the person looked confused, he said 'Male carrot cake has nuts.
That's great 🤣
That was a fantastic show. Relentless pace of perfectly timed punchlines :)
