Just come in here, Hat Shades Beard and Alllwwwwwllllllllllll
Hank Williams Jr - Born To Boogie
All my Rowdie Friends Coming over Tonight!
Yep! Hank Williams Jr aka Bocephus. My favorite country singer. You should check out his song called "Hog Wild". Do the official video. The whole album is great actually. My favorite song by him "Family Tradition".
In the early morning of March 16, 1991, a small plane carrying eight of McEntire's band members crashed into Olay Mountain near San Diego, Calif., after a private show for IBM executives. The crash was attributed to poor visibility. She said they were like family. She and her then husband were not on the plane because she was suffering from bronchitis and wanted to rest. Vince Gill said to her if you need me I will be on your stage to support you. A true friend.
And Dolly Parton told her she could use her band.
One of my absolute favorites by Reba. This woman is simply one of the best artists and humans you'll ever meet. You should do her song Little Rock.
You’ve got to do “You Lied” next!! It’s my favorite of hers.
Her range on that song is insane!
Yes such a great song with her vocals
Mine too!!
More Reba. Always more Reba! I've seen her a few times in concert and she's absolutely magical live. Her energy, humor, charisma, and her VOCALS. She's brilliant every time. Please watch more from her.
Reba always does fantastic videos & live performances. I love her with Vince Gill, Kelly Clarkson & Brooks & Dunn. My favorite video & live performance is with Linda Davis singing "Does He Love You."
She has some of the best performances ever. My most recent favorite is "Whoever's in New England" with her and Cody Johnson at CMA fest this year. It is the best.
I saw her live for the first time in April and at almost 70yrs old she is still just as incredible.
The guy at the beginning was Hank William Jr. He is a legendary county artist who was at the top of country music in the 80s and early 90s.
Reba will be a new judge on The Voice this fall. She is also an outstanding comedic Actress. She is one of the Iconic voices of Country.
I think my favorite Reba performance, including this one, is "Rumor Has It".
Saw her in concert THIS year and she is as amazing as ever! Try her duet with Linda Davis, "Does He Love You?" Crazy good power ballad. 👍🎶💜
The video is great too!
🎼🎼🎁🎼🎼 .. so great Sebs.. the feeling I get from Miss Reba's performance and her connection with the audience is the reason I have loved ❤️🎈❤️ Country Music my whole life. And I am 57 today.. remembering this song here with you is a very nice part of my birthday. Thank you 🎼🤍🎼
Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!! Not far behind ya (I'll be 53 in October). I sure hope he reacts to "Whoever's in New England"
I saw her live and she sounds the same as her records, plus she was funny as hell! A couple of my favourite songs by Reba are “You Lie” and “And Still”. You’ll enjoy your trip down this rabbit hole.
Oh my gosh! I LOVE "And Still!" I will always always listed to that song if it comes on no matter what!
@@ladykristalginn6 me too, it breaks my heart every time but I still cry through it!
Never seen this channel before lovely to see Reba from such along time ago and amazing then and still is today a pure pleasure to watch sending and hope always
Not to disrespect Reba and her decades of hits, but I've always had a special place in my heart for all the earlier works of the country greats. When their voices were young, when they had that special something that captured everyone's heart. George Strait, Randy Travis, even Garth Brooks... back when they were "kids" who were still chasing rainbows and put every ounce of themselves in their songs. This is one of my favorite Reba songs... glad you've discovered it too.
By the time Reba was in junior high, she and her siblings had formed The Singing McEntires and, shortly after high school, she was discovered, when cowboy singer Red Steagall heard her perform the national anthem at the 1974 National Rodeo Finals.
Saw her early in her career and she’s always been the queen! Her vocals are so pure! Love her and enjoy your channel ❤
I have been to 3 Reba concerts over the years....NEVER disappointed, she is so good
Same here I’m from the Richmond Virginia area and she’s been in the Richmond Colosseum three times and that’s where I went to go see her back in the 90s
Ya can't go wrong with Reba she just gets better and better ♥️😘
I saw a live concert in the 90s. She was amazing, on stage wardrobe change and everything.
This is one of my absolute favorite early Reba songs. A couple other early ones you should hear are Whoever’s in New England and Somebody should leave. ❤️
Reba has always been a crush for me. I am 51 now and she is still great. Could sing me to sleep anytime
I saw Reba in concert in Las Vegas with Brooks and Dunn. Simply outstanding concert. Brooks and Dunn performed first and then when they played "Cowgirls don't cry" Reba came out and sang the last chorus to it. Best (and most) money I ever spent to see a concert.
She is definitely a star love her
Reba will be a judge on this season of The Voice. Watch and fall in love with the genuine person and professional she is!
I used to have a live Reba performance CD. I wore that disc out and knew every word. It helped me learn to sing 😁
I love supporting a return Missionary! Thank you for sharing the wise advice of your Mission President, (return) Elder Duran!!
Reba ~ “He Gets That From Me”, “Somebody”, “Because of You”, “The Greatest Man I Never Knew”…the list goes on and on!
Not much of a country fan, but I fell in love with Reba by watching her T.V. show which you can still see in sindication She is adored by everyone all over the world because she is so genuine with no pretense. As they say done south, "she's real people".! 😀
Her Voice is an absolute instrument!!!
It’s so refreshing to see a reactor listen to Reba’s earlier work from the 80’s. For some reason, those songs get overlooked, despite it being her best material.
one of the greatest female vocalist ever!!
Reba is simply an incredible human being
I love that you served a mission! I went to St. Louis and my brother Brasilia Brasil.
She is fierce in both "Fancy " and " Why haven't I heard from you." Love u loving country darlin!
This song is about meeting someone you could love forever After you've already married someone else. She says the guy is great, but she's made a commitment she can't go back on.
Reba is my absolute favorite singer of all time. It started when I was a very little girl because my dad was a fan. My mom has a video of me at 2 years old jumping on one of those hard covered suitcases and singing what I called "Boxes" (it was For My Broken Heart) because the start of the song says, "There were no angry words at all as we carried boxes down the hall," lol! I took back all of my birthday presents that I received for my 9th birthday trying to get enough money to go to a concert. I still didn't have enough, so my parents promised to take me to the next one when she came to town. Not long after, her plane crashed with her band on it (luckily she wasn't aboard), but she stopped touring for a long time. Or at least she didn't come back to my town for a very long time. I didn't get to see her until I was about 27! Almost 20 years later! Now I've seen her 3 times, and she's fantastic every time! Even though she's getting up there in years, considering she started performing in the 70's, way before I was even thought of!
Hank Williams, Jr. would be a good one for you to check out next. He is iconic in his own right. He struggled for years trying to live up to his dad, Hank Williams. It was great when he decided to just do music his way, lol. I would recommend 'Family Tradition' and 'All My Rowdy Friends!' aka the theme song for Monday Night Football for decades, lol.
In my top 3 Reba songs. I love it.
One of her best, and seldom seen or heard us She Thinks His Name Was John.
This was one of my first childhood crushes. Oddly though, it was from the movie Little Rascals. Such an amazing voice.
I grew up listening to country music, I’m 49 now. Reba has always been like that one favorite aunt who’s always there for you no matter what your feeling. She always understands and always accepts you. Her songs make you feel connected to her.
This is a favorite. But seems to be overlooked so I'm so glad you are reacting to it
I got the opportunity to see her in her prime! Wonderful!
You want power? See Reba’s live performance from the AMAs of “The Heart Won’t Lie” with Vince Gill.
Every year Chattanooga Tennessee has a music festival called Riverbend. Reba headlined it once. I worked for one if the corporate sponsors of it. She is the sweeted, funniest, down to earth people you'll ever meet. If you didn't know she was a Country Music Legend, you'd never gyess it.
Sebs, I think you missed the story in the song. She sang the had I'd known about you, I would have waited. But she didn't know about him (in the future) and married someone else. Then she met him, but couldn't be together because she was married. Thus "one promise too late".
Reba, a true country queen. One of my favorite Reba songs.❤❤❤
"Does He Love You" is another great live performance and so is "You Lie"
The Queen
Never in my life has anyone sounded as good as Reba while singing live. I swear she’s on a whole other level
One of my favorite Reba songs.
And this performance was live, she is truly the queen of country….You Lie by Reba is a must
I saw her in concert a couple of times when I was a kid
You can do no wrong with Miss Reba!!!!!! Would love to see you check out He Gets That From Me and Just Like Them Horses that she wrote when her dad passed
One of the most beautiful and kind ladies that I ever met in my life made such a profound statement late in life when she was unmarried. She said, “If I had known the last time someone asked me to marry them would be the last time someone asked me to marry them, I would have said yes.”
Flawless vocals
Reba is beautiful with a voice to match. If you ever get the chance, you should watch her tv show “Reba” she is hilarious.
Reba was born and raised in Oklahoma . Her center for rehabilitation is 18 miles ( in Texas ) from where I live and her restaurant/bar is 67 miles north of me in Oklahoma
Reba is awesome!!! She is still so good to this day!!!!! So many great songs!!!!
Reba's best song by far!!!
She's very friendly. Met her. Her live show is one of the best I've ever seen.
if you are enjoying this, you must go see the her live. She will blow your mind. I been to a couple of her concerts and each time came out high than a kite and wondering how she did some of the outfit changes and just feeling the ground move from the music.
Love your reactions always. 🙂 I think you misunderstood the lyrics a bit though. She's basically saying she's married and then she meets the man of her dreams. And if she'd only known he was out there, she'd have waited, but she didn't. And she's not going to leave her husband for this other guy. Specifically the lyrics "Where were you when I could have loved you" and "You came along one promise too late."
This is prime Reba. Back when she had Suzie Wills as backup. Saw her many times during her reign. Always a great show. My late wife and I loved her music.
Her tv series called REBA was very funny too
That’s Hank Williams Jr. He and his father are both absolute legends.
Reba is the greatest. I've been to a concert of hers. It was great. And the guy that introduced her in the beginning of the video was Hank Williams Jr. a fellow country music singer.
McEntire made her first recording, "The Ballad of John McEntire," about her grandfather, in 1971 in Oklahoma City. Cowboy poet-singer Red Steagall "discovered" her singing the national anthem at the National Finals Rodeo in Oklahoma City in 1974.
WATCH THE DUET 'DOES HE LOVE YOU"
Reba has survived some tragedy in her life. In March 1991 a small plane carrying ten people, including seven of her band-members, crashed near San Diego, California. The crash was due to poor visibility, and they were returning from a private show for IBM executives.
She was introduced by Hanks Williams Jr.
She has an amazing voice, personality and smile . Huge fan of hers. This was a long time ago when she was first starting.
Reba is amazing!! I think her most powerful performance was the live version of 'I Think His Name Was John' The song is about AIDS. Please do that song 🙂
Sebs,i've been watching a lot of your and your wife's video and enjoy them a lot. Try Reba's " Does He Love You" with Linda Davis. Linda was Reba's backup singer for years and sounds almost like Reba. Their is a surprise at the end of the video. It's a blast to watch.
Reba is my favorite female artist
There are at least 20 Reba hits that you are going to love, from her huge and incredible song catalogue.
Her long time backup singer Linda Davis is the mother of Lady A’s female lead singer
I love Reba. Please do something by the Osmonds who lived in Utah and had a tv show Donny and Marie. They also had a great song crazy horses.
Please do her song, "The Greatest Man I Never Knew". Such a beautiful, heartbreaking song.
Try her song If I had Only Known.... she wrote it for her band that she lost in a plane crash..... it also plays at the end of the movie 8 Seconds, which is a movie about the pro bull rider Lane Frost... which is a great movie
I don’t think Reba wrote the song If I Had Only Known. Reba has never written any songs - only “co-written” on some songs (I think she probably just contributed a bit on some lyrics). I’m pretty sure Reba doesn’t have a writing credit on If I Had Only Known.
That said, it’s a GORGEOUS song and if you find the video for it or one of Reba’s rare live performances of it (I think it was 2006?) you should watch it.
The guy introducing her is Hank Williams Jr. AKA Bo Cephus
This is my favorite ❤️ then you lie❤
You need to check the Reba show out. Its hilarious and a good family show. I wish they would put it back on
Sebs look up all her songs..so many good ones. But her show Reba was awesome
Seb, you’re missing so much by Donation’s only. The man introducing Reba is Legendary-Outlaw Hank Williams Jr. You would get hooked on him and his music!
Legendary! ❤❤❤❤
Reba = legend!
The presenter at the awards show was Hank Williams jr
Your reactions to country music are awesome . It's as thou you still can not believe country music is so relatable.
Subject title ( that is in bold font)for this video shouldn't it be One instead of On ?
There is NOTHING like seeing Reba live.
You're right it doesn't matter where you get your appetite as long as you eat at home
You need to check out Does He love you? by Reba and Linda Davis
Check out What if It's You and Stronger Than the Truth.😢😢 Killer songs. Or Reba and Vince Gill, The Heart Won't Lie. Love your videos.
Hurt by Johnny Cash is AMAZING
That was Hank Williams Jr
If you love Reba - who wouldn’t - you should listen to Patsy Cline singing the song Crazy
The gentleman who introduced her was the legend Hank William Jr.
I swear to god, I've come an ace from figuring out cash apps for the first time to find a reactor to do this version of this song.
It's simply perfection. As a song lyrically, it's a gut punch. The instrumentation and progression makes it sort of a jam/anguish anthem by the end.
And then Reba being a performance powerhouse. Smiling through effortless range. Total badass.
Genuinely my UA-cam search history is full of me hoping to find reactions to this performance. Shout out to the dude who got it through and for Seb to queue it up.
Going to actually listen to it now while I make a rainy dinner in England.
OK - quick follow up reply as my bacon's burning: love the enthusiasm and glad you enjoyed it, but you've missed the mark on the meaning.
This isn't about having boundaries and moving on if someone's not ready to commit.
Way more rare for a subject matter, it's about staying true once you've already committed to someone else, even though a rather perfect and exciting new comer enters your world and might be tempting.
The way she delivers these lines, you believe her that she has affection for both sides and longing for a possible change, but also a sense of duty to the promise she's already made.
It's so dynamic, nostalgic and exceedingly clever, like most good country music is.
Agree with you about the point of the lyrics. Maybe I misinterpreted the plot, but I always thought it was about a former lover that she’d had a deep connection with, but it hadn’t worked out. And then he had come back to her, after she’d given up on him & married someone else. Maybe I need to listen again, it’s been a long time since I’ve heard this. The words, “You came along” does sound as though it could be a new guy.
Since you dug into this, I’ll ask you the question I’ve always had when I hear this song: Would you want the heroine to stay true to her promise, demonstrating that loyalty is admirable… OR would a strong & admirable heroine follow her heart?
If she keeps her promise, does that mean resigning herself to a life of longing for the happiness she “should” have had, or that was “meant” for her?
If I was the one she’d made the promise to - I wouldn’t want to be with someone whose heart longs for someone else. But I’ve also been the one who keeps the promise - not conflicted by another lover - but by the knowledge that my promise was destroying me for many other reasons. TMI, sorry.
It’s an interesting topic that shows how life isn’t black/white- sometimes the “right” choice isn’t clear & lies somewhere along a indeterminable stretch of gray. I find the moral quandary interesting. Esp. if considered from the point of view of a father with daughters, as Sebs viewed it! Makes for thought-provoking lyrics, which I always appreciate.
Yeah, I think too much. And it’s just a great song by a legend - not just incredibly talented but also an awesome human being!
