What should be the minimum pressure at the high pressure fuel rail after a night sitting? Mine is dropping from 5000Kpa ( idle) till 200Kpa…. After 12 hours overnight. And thats with already a running low pressure fuel pump for 3 seconds with dash on and engine off. My stelvio need mostly of the time 3 seconds cranking before it is running…😢 2.0T 2018 with 62000KM on the clock.
2.0 or 2.9? If that’s a quote for a 2.0 that’s insane and unless it’s leaking I would call bs. I’ve never seen a water pump on a 2.9 take a dump yet so I’d get a second opinion.
@@hycastro hey, question on my 2019 gulia, all the coolant for the engine was gone over the weekend. I was out of town and checked on it before I was gonna drive it and it had no coolant. But theres coolant on my engine cover, it looks all pinky and ugly. Do you happen to know the most common areas from where the coolant can leak from ?
@@YepFluh so I would check the heater hoses, one has a plastic bleeder valve on it that always falls apart and allows coolant to spray everywhere. That hose is on the back of the engine on the driver side.
Mine leaked from the reservoir cap. The dealer pressurized the system and couldn’t find leak, even though I was very low. The fluid gathered on the bottom cover under the car. They replaced the reservoir under warranty as they don’t provide a cap. Gotta love it. No problems since.
Good concise Alfa Romeo maintenance video. Much appreciated. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for including the torque specs.
Great informative viddy just got a 2018 stelvio
Great video you made this look so much easier then I thought
Thanks
Could you do a video going over everything to look out for on these cars? From common things to more rare things and how to troubleshoot them.
Absolutely. I will definitely get this on the list.
Second this, thanks!
What was the mileage you decided to replace plugs. I’m at 51k and am thinking of doing it while I’m doing brakes, rotors, etc.
Have you ever encountered oil in the sparkplug tubes on any of these engines?
Never on these cars but on Fiat, all the time.
Hi, Alpha Tech, thanks for all the great videos. Do you have one for transmission fluid change? 2018 Stelvio.
Thanks.
I don’t yet but it will be coming soon.
My 2020 Stelvio is running rough, by changing the sparks plugs will it make it run better?
hello, I guess they were the original ones, what brand were they from?

I have a 2020. I am assuming nothing has changed.
Hey question, alfa just quoted me 3k to change the water pump they are saying it’s going bad. What do you think I should do ?

@@hycastro a 2.0, yeah I told her to get a second opinion
