Required material.
Chopped cabbage (200 grams).
2 medium potatoes.
1 regular onion.
2 green peppers.
Half a red pepper.
1 carrot.
3 tablespoons of oil (60 ml).
Grated cheddar cheese (50 grams).
5 eggs.
1 teaspoon of chili pepper (5 grams).
1 teaspoon of black pepper (5 grams).
1 teaspoon of salt (5 grams).
1 pinch of parsley.

Delicious and really healthy. I went further by using 2eggs and 10 egg whites,just one potatoe 400 gr cabagge and only 20 ml olive oil, flavour is the same and you save a good amount of calories with lots of bulk!

AWESOME.... this taste fantastic. I also found a better way of cooking it.. Try putting it in a casserole disk and baking it the rest the way. That keeps you from having to turn it in the skillet. It came out wonderfully solid and delicious... Thank you for this recipe.

This is really good. I make a variation of it a couple of times a week...we are keto so it’s perfect! I use sweet potatoes instead of regular potatoes and keto approved veggies...I also switch up the spices...our favorite is tandoori spices.

That's what I was thinking...too much oil n cheese for weight loss. But if u use spray instead of tablespoons of oil...egg whites...and low fat cheese..then it's lower calorie and higher protein

I don't eat potatoes--converts to sugar--so I substitute grated cauliflower. I use spray instead of oil. Too much lactose(sugar) in the cheese. Definitely too heavy for breakfast, but lunch is a sure winner!

What country is this from?
I have made a version of this dish for years... I do not put shredded carrots in it though... it’s basically the same recipe expect I use 5-6 cloves of garlic minced up, an entire onion, I shred my potatoes like you would hash browns, dice up a whole green and red bell pepper, and shred up an entire small head of cabbage or half of a large one... I have also used half a small head of green cabbage and half a small head of red cabbage before... I then Sauté all of that with some olive oil, add some kosher sea salt, a little bit of onion powder, some fresh parsley and basil (love basil) after it has cooked down, I scramble up 3-4 large eggs with a little bit of salt, some of the fresh parsley and basil and mix it all together.... take a 11x12 baking dish and coat it with olive oil, spread half of the mixture into it, sprinkle a healthy helping of whatever sheesh I have on hand at the time, usually white cheddar, mozzarella or Swiss... cover it with the other half of the mixture and pop it in my oven at 350 for about 30 minutes.... then sprinkle the top of it with some more cheese and put it back in the oven until the cheese melts.... take it out, let it set for about 5 minutes and then serve.... it is wonderful.... I have never put carrots in it before and do not think I would like it with shredded carrots in it... I like carrots, but I like them in stews, cooked with roasts or spiced.... I have also tried this with some fresh spinach as well before... it came out kind of like a quiche... it was good for sure...
