1:21 this part is extremely cold... Goosebumps everywhere!
1:40 makes me so emotional. What sounds like a woodwind instrument is actually a human voice. The Norwegian people call it a kulning. Its used as a call for their cattle, or to send a warning.
Elsa is scared. She is scared to hurt anyone, so she warns everyone. She is also scared of her seemingly uncontrollable power, and needs someone to help her control it. Her emotions are so conflicted, the mental whiteout in her head becomes a physical whiteout in her kingdom.
It's the Norwegian singer Christine Hals
Excellent analysis 🧐
NORWEGIANS ASSEMBLY ❗️🇳🇴
This evokes so much emotion. D:
You can FEEL Elsa's grief twice over and it breaks your heart.
You can FEEL Kristoff and Anna's desperation and the power of Elsa's storm and it's overpowering and beautiful.
All through the music (The visuals and acting help too, of course)
Ikr
I can just imagine Hans's sword being drawn at 3:55 and the sadness when Anna makes the hard decision :'( the tears
yea especially when Anna was about to die, and he should be confronted with a hard decision, and at the same time the cutest moment happen after heartbreaking scene
"Elsa! You can't run from this!"
"Just take care of my sister!"
"Your sister? She returned from the mountain, weak and cold! She said that you froze her heart! I tried to save her, but it was too late! Her skin was ice, her hair turned white. Your sister is dead, because of you!"
"No."
Why did he say "She said that you froze" instead of "She said that you had frozen.."?
@@Pandalka froze is past tense frozen is present tense
Jazzy ;3 But isn't freeze present tense? I believe frozen is the past participle.
3:53 Marina dies ssb4 D.o.t.m 3:54
Wow!!!
How many times have you watched frozen?!?
1:21 CHILLS just go down my spine! I can feel the eerie ness and coldness in that voice!
3:34 - 3:52 always gets me. Kristoff and Anna share that same motif in many scenes together and it's used in such a powerful way during this scene.
When Else learns that her sister is dead, the storm stops as she falls on the ice, just because now that Anna is dead, she has nothing to be scared about anymore. Sad.
No. Elsa's power is controlled by her emotions. She was grieving and in turn calmed the storm. She was just broken at the time.
It's Elsa, not Else
Natasha P fuck you it was a mistake you bitch
+Armen Serdaigle Oh damn. But that's for telling me. I never understood why that happened.
+Meme Thanks*
1:21 Frozen just loves their voice calling. I look at this as Elsa desperately needing her sister to tell her it's going to be okay, but she can't because she feels she is too dangerous for anyone to be around her. It's beautiful, it's sad, and its genius.
It's the voice of Christine Hals
3:40 - 3:53 I love this small part. It was like something you might expect, with some lovely tunes, and then an amazing plot twist happens! Thanks for making such turns of events, guys! :D
This is probably my favorite piece from the score. It's just so absolutely well done and powerful. Normally I prefer the quieter, sadder melodies such as from a death scene or other sad scene, but this has both blended together. It's so perfectly arranged I can visualize the events to go with the music. The flute is beautifully haunting, underscoring how close Anna is to death; the swelling of the music as Anna sees Kristoff contrasts with the melody a few moment later when she turns away to save Elsa. It's one of the best I've seen ever.
My sister thought I was insane saving Woody.EXE from Jessie but I had to do it. So I risked my life getting myself badly scratched to prevent Woody.EXE getting hurt and my cut didn’t heal for weeks
This soundtrack is really a masterpiece
1:20 - when they go from Anna in the storm to Kristoff and you're just like: oh snap that's far away
Some people are worth getting frozen for.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who imagine the actual scene repeating every line the characters say while listening to this (and crying).
matteobraso I sometimes imagine it re-enacted with other characters
this is the part of the soundtrack that I love!
Nice picture :D and same here!
Thanks
The only thing in the movie competing with this EPICNESS is when Elsa freezes anna's Heart. AAAHHHHHHHH IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII CAAANNT!!!! BOOOM
EnderGirl26 I know right? It gives me chills every time I hear those words at the end of the First Time in Forever reprise xD
I KNOW ITS SO AWESOME!
3:18 "Your sister is dead... because of _you_."
Scar (to cub Simba): Of course, of course you didn't. No one ever means for these things to happen. But the king is dead. And if it weren't for you, he'd still be alive. LOL Both these scenes are a little similar. Love this score!
your'e right
When the patient you're caring for dies.
Mswordx23 OK nice
Mswordx23
I legit gasp every time hear that line. I've seen the movie like seven times, and it still shocks me every time. That's a horrible thing to say 😂😅
Possibly the best orchestral piece in an already terrific soundtrack! Can anyone tell me what the woodwind-sounding instrument is that comes in at 1:21 ? It sends chills down my spine!
I think it could be an ocarina... or maybe human voice
it's actually a norwegian herdcall, called kulning
im with kate gracia, its a ancient scandinavian herdcalling technic called kulning, check out jinna jinton she has mastered the art of kulning.
human voice lol
CamShow omg yessss
This is, hands down, my favorite song on this soundtrack. So many feels. I can't even. Especially at 3:34-3:53 *Anna looks at Elsa* 4:01 *runs to her* FEELS TRUCK SPECIAL DELIVERY
1:47 that's the voice from Frozen 2... THAT'S THE VOICE, I NOTICE THE RHYTHM OF THE KULNING AND YOU WON'T TELL ME OTHERWISE! AH-
That's Dies Irae motif
1:21 What chills....
3:40 it hit's home that part makes get teary.
My favorite scene in the whole movie besides 'Let it go'!! The music is beautiful!! So beautiful that at 1:48 - 1: 54 I CRY!!
I also cry at 2:34 - 2:51. Disney is SO good at heartbreak!!
3:16 - 4:18 is just heartbreaking
omg same here :'
Christophe Beck is genius as making soundtracks. Close your eyes from buffy was emotional too.
1:47 always goosebumps
damn i literally crying right now thats beatiful T-T
1:43 can you hear the violins? I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THAT BIT
I think it’s awesome because of the suspense in that little part of music! I- i just cannot stop replaying
1:21 i'm crying ksskdk
1:48 Undoubtedly my favorite part
THE FUCKING SCREAMING
The feels 3:54
4:04 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
I'm gonna play this song whenever I use my whiteout :D
LOL
Okay now, this scene is one of the most intense in the entire film, and the music that plays along is just so perfect, from when Kristoff races back to Anna to when Elsa's curse on Anna finally takes full effect.
1:21 mi parte favoritaaa
1:20
Best part of movie
One of the most epic parts of the movie
3:52 So beautiful...
0:56 onwards sounds like me when I'm thinking, shit I've got to do my homework.
1:40- the music, omg, the music. I love those little flute parts!
its not a flute , its infact a ancient scandinavian cow-herding technique called ''herding''. its still used in some parts of norway and sweden but its rare
are the flutes the annoying fucking screaming
@@petersanta2911 its beatiful
1:48 probably my favorite part about this track music-wise.
I listen to this song full blast in my car! Its amazing!
THE BEST PART OF FILM EVER!!!!!
(And Let it go obviosuly ;) )

Paty Valentine
Let it Go;Whiteout;Frozen Heart;First Time in Forever and Vuelie are my favorite songs from the movie :D.
I Love Let it go,Whiteout,For The first time in forever (and the reprise too) and the "Scene's ost's" like Summit Siege,The great thaw,Sorcery,"Hans",Epilogue and more :D
Paty Valentine
The rest of the songs in the movie,in my opinion are okay. They're not bad but they're nothing spectacular. And three of the songs in the movie are just pointless. Those are:In Summer;Reindeir(s) are better than people and Fixer Upper.I don't hate these three songs it's just that they don't really serve a purpeous in the film.
By the way,I replied to on that other video a few days ago when we we're talking about being lonley. Why didn't you reply back?
I discovered this movie when I was 3 in 2016 😂 at 1:48 it gives cHilLS ❄️☃️🌨
That flute is so pretty
My favorite piece of music in all of Frozen is 1:21 to 2:55, literally just that little bit
The keening vocalization that starts at 1:22 and again at 1:40 reminds me of the soundtrack from the PSNetwork PS3 game Sons: A Tale of Two Brothers.
I thought it was called kulning
You're right, it is. I just didn't know the word at that time so I described it as keening. Now I know though so I can call it the right thing. :)
1:10 "KRISTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOFF!!!!!!!"
KEEP GOING!
1:43 oh, don’t mind me. Just making a personal reply button to listen to the lovely violin suspense in that moment.
And this is also the scene when Anna goes trough the storm to find Kristoff.. :P
1:43 here those violins? That’s my favourite part!!!!!
That moment when all the snow stops is so awesome....
1:40-1:55 gave me literal chills! So did 1:21
1:39..♥
This is when Elsa runs away scene..anyone noticed? :D
Anđela Joković no it’s when Anna turns into a sculpture to save Elsa
sami ???
sami ohhh
2:32 Damnnnnn
😱 Masterpiece 😍
my favorite part is when she runs away and I cried when their parents were dead
What, have you guys never had your heart frozen before? Sheesh, you people are weird.
Seriously though, that moment when the storm stops truly represents how Elsa just broke after hearing Hans say that. Just..wow.
really nice quality
The feels...
Is no one going to talk about how COOL (pun intended) and action packed 0:00-1:20 is?
I get it lol
30. Whiteout The best
The part we seens the boats with pov sky is amazing
It is so beautiful.
masterpiece
Omg i love the Sound❤😍
This song reminds me of the ones in Brave...
The whole album in general reminds me of a mixture of multiple Disney movies with it's own spin ouo
What's the instrument that plays around 1:21-1:31 and 1:39-1:55?
the chills holy i think is called a kulning (don't quote me on this)
Jazz Tharagan It is, thanks.
It's a pan flute! :)
It's actually a singer. Her name is Christine Hals and she uses a technique/style called kulning. It's a tradition that developed from cow herders in northern Scandinavian mountain regions.
Abigail Haugen Holy cow, THAT'S what Kulning sounds like? I had heard the term before, but never heard the actual sound. II love how mysterious yet beautiful it is
omfg awesome OST
how to start a good day : listen to this
00:37 Epic Battle Music
1:23 and 1:39 My favorite
Anna: KRISTOFF!!!
Olaf: KEEP GOING!!!
I love it, it always makes me cry
If Frozen is to come in Kingdom Hearts 3, i hope this is gonna be Hans' battle theme. But you what would be an even better boss? Heartless Hans.
WHOAH!!! 😥😥😥
1:24 - 1:31
Magnificent
For a minute I thought that said "Maleficent."
superbueno :O
Anyone else notice "the voice" from Frozen 2 at 1:48?
Woah, it seems like they hinted it.
1:22!!!
Is it just me, or does this sound like something out of Titanic?
Anna pure freezes when she saves Elsa and she beats Hans
love the whale like sounds
This gives me chills though... The music plays with an intense yet gently soothing way and it just-- fjghaelgrdf;
Angel Arella
I cannot agree more, I would prefer to listen to this than let it go or do you want to build a snowman any day
OMG!!
Some verses of the song reminded me of Transformers Prime
an act of true love can thaw a frozen heart
Did an epic Frozen piano suite including this song with sheet music if anyone's interested ;D
I think this might be my favourite piece of music in the entirety of the Frozen Franchise. While The Flood and Dark Sea are amazing, they just don't hit as hard as this piece does. Idk, those pieces just don't convey the absolute chaos and intensity of this piece.
Does anyone else hear "passing bells and sculpted angels" at 4:00 from "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" from Phantom of the Opera? That's what it reminds me of every time.
1:48 i think i heard dies irae
Мне очень понравилась музыка, она потрясающая 😁☺️❤️👍🏼😍вся ваша музыка мне очень понравилась 🥰
0:36
All the feelings...
This Sounds Like The Score of Casino Royale by David Arnold ( 0:24)
Me: (to Anna) Save your sister!!
3:53 So fucking beautiful! :,)
0:36 Oh por Dios muy épico .o.
