tmot75 Green Day is my favorite band of all time, but I gotta hand it to tool like I hand my dad tools while he screams at the fuel line of his 96 Carolla
When I was growing up, my family practiced within the occult, and pulled a lot of different ideas, so I've seen and heard a lot. But if you're looking at the Judeo-Christian message, it's straightforward. People have been working for and against those scripts for who knows how long? But at this point, the message of that religion as it is describes God as loving humanity. Angels and demons both can say the same exact phrase from the same book with two different meanings. Demons and angels both seek the same things for different reasons. The most destructive lie is mostly solid truth with a subtle twist. Demons emulate angels as much as they possibly can without compromising malice. And angels and demons can stand in the same room, saying the same phrases, with completely different intentions. Demons seek to isolate you, to abuse you, to bring you to madness. Angels lead you away from the crowd, to strengthen you, and give you peace away from the poison in the collective, and to bring you clarity. I think that it makes sense to say, that if I want to know the truth, I'll look for it with a pure heart, with hope, love, and determination. If I want to know someone, I'll find them out for myself. If I want to know someone, I'm not going to let someone else tell me who they are, I'm going to find them out for myself. What matters is that you see someone as they really are. I'm going to find them out for myself, regardless of what people say about them, even if they claim to be close. I can't really even bear to be around the majority of people who claim to be Christians at this point. I can't listen to what they try to say anymore. I know that Jesus is a legitimate person, and that you can seek and knock, and the door will be opened to you. If I knock on The Christ's door, I know that I'll be invited as coming to the house of my closest friend who will always tell me the truth and it allows me to see the lies in the "church". You have to know that your relationship to your local church, and what they think about Jesus, is not always real in the slightest. A lot of churches are just demons reading from the same book. Demons mock the ideal relationship as closely as they can.
BEHOLD! real music. listen as the industry sleeps on that which it cannot dumb down or control. ive said this before, this is the kind of music god listens to. what else is there to say... que the fucking niegh sayers.

I love Green Day, they are the band that got me in to rock music. Tool is my all time favorite band, but man, Green Day is a good band, they're just not as experimental or articulate as Tool.

Maynard looks ridiculously thinner here, like, more than usual ... :/

Then maynard steals it right back at 5:30 haha
@jimscape i will agree with you sir that Tool is the best, but APC is pretty damn good too, and its not just because Maynard sings for them either =P
i fucking hate green day and bands like it lol

Layne Staley was the GOAT

I just don’t get the attraction of this band.
Can you at least appreciate the scream at 5:29? And the drumming?
