I really hate not being able to test without formaing and catalysing. They should add the funktion for testing weapons to set their rank formas and even apply arcanas you dont have. Thats the main reason i really struggle building on my own and not following a guide since i could compeltly mess up or hate the playstile. But wasted lots if plat and time to build towards it
Only 10 minutes in but you have some decent points. It's always better to offload viral to something else, either cat or noruish or a primer if you're not lazy. It's also easy to check if gun CO is multiplicative or additive. Just takes some math. It's also better to offload % damage to an arcane if you're lazy and don't care for headshots. There's other nuances that a weapon has that can influence certain mod types like multishot/huntermuntions/hemo/ect... There's one thing that makes any enemy easy to kill, that is armor strip. With how over the top the DR of armor is, if you have any sort of armor strip is a great benefit I'd say even over proper weapon modding. Though this requires more effort than most want to put in(me) to kill things. Though DE are now implementing their bullshit reactive DR that came with kuva liches into certain bosses/mobs.
The thing that keeps me from farming grendel for nourish is the people saying how tedious the grind is. Is it as bad a people say? The thing is once you have certain weapons you don't even really need viral up to level 500

any weapon that ricochets benefits from the projectiles traveling further, and you can achieve that projectile speed (more distance covered at X ammount of time said projectile lives up to)
40:00 Elemental damage has no effect on slash procs tho. Primed Cryo Rounds is for elemental weighing, not because it boosts slash damage. Like, with Infected Clip it's 10.06% to proc viral and with Malignant Force it's 13%. Not a big difference because of low base status chance, but might as well min-max and go with Malignant Force.

The tenet tetra has grabbed my attention so I have a question. say I rolled a negative mag riven which would bring my ammo down to say 50 would the gun be unable to fire, have less damage since the «default» is 80 rounds or would I keep my damage and lose less ammo per shot as a result?
If u want a quick rundown, all of them are good except the agendus, agendus' ability is underwhelming and other sword and shield weapons are stronger. The rest are super cool

Generally negative damage on a riven or vile acceleration only really affects the first kill and will feel negligible after. If you see god roll riven with - damage, take it

Don't serration gunCO and +damage arcanes not work nice with eachother? ive always heard that its useless to run beyond 1 at a time because of diminishing returns.
Its fully dependent if your gunco is additive or multiplicative. With additive CO yea, it means that aptitude gives u a normal +base damage however with mutliplicativeCO you are multiplying your base damage the same way adding crit on a weapon would
I have a question, sorry if you've covered it already or someone else asked it, but what's the point of putting on serration on weapons with multiplicative gunco if you can just use primary deadhead or merciless? serration is additive with those arcanes so the overall damage boost would be the same percentage as if you put serration on a weapon with additive gunco, or is the math a bit different there?
A weapon with multiplicative gun CO benefits from the damage source of serration and the primary arcanes. The difference between additive and multiplicative is as follows A weapon with additive co will mean that your galvanized aptitude mod acts like a serration mod, however mulitplicative gun CO on your weapon will act like a bane mod which means serration will multiply with it and increase the weapon's damage by a ton. Its a good substitute for your actual bane mod and with a bane mod on top your gun will hit like a truck

When i started playing warframe the modding system was so overwhelming and even tho i had alot of effort in learning how to mod my weapons i never really got to the point where i fully understand why different firemodes on a weapon need different modding. Like primary firemode and alternative firemode. For me personally it made no sence that a single weapon needs different modding in it self and basically need 2 mod configs which is just not possible. I really hope DE somehow gives us a way to fully access the modding capabilitys of a weapon with more than one firemode…

Bro made a 1 hour video for just an easiest thing to do in the game. Here is how to build ALL primary weapons in Warframe for all contents (even Level Cap): Galvanized Multi shot, Crit chance, Crit dmg, Toxin + Cold (Viral), Heat (armor strip), Galvanized Status. There are 7 mods. The last mod slot you can put Hunter Munitions for stronger Galvanized. Or additional multishot (Vigilante Armaments). Its fkin' easy
@@Huh-0.1 Weird of you to think I didnt do so already. I did take some notes tho - Gun CO is additive or multiplicative? Mult. = Will benefit from other dmg mods / Add = Wont. - If the weapon benefits from multishot, use multishot (part of the hel I needed was on how to get to that conclusion). - Weapon has above average Crit = Build Crit. - Generally use raw elemental mods, unless the weapon has good status, in which case you can use 60/60s. As far as what I said goes, I will have occupied like 5 mod slots, and I still dont know when to use multishot and when not to (maybe he said it in the video, I missed that). The 3 remaining slots are what I needed help with, yet I didnt think I had to be this specific only starting the conversation, but apparently I need to explain to you why I needed help.
@@jash2537 In case you’re still wondering, some weapons’ explosion damage do not benefit from multishot (possibly a bug). The opticor’s explosion is 1/3 of its base damage, 2/3 still benefit from multishot. Honestly, his comment about multishot were kinda misleading. Never forgo multishot.
So the only thing i have on my tetra is prime shred. I if possible want your opinion on it. Please give it a try. When i shoot everyone in a line almost to the 3rd enemy die like the first one. Tetra has the kinetic ricochet mod on it which is insanely OP for the auto mode making your projectiles bounce up to 7 times. The full auto mode becomes chaotic with this at the cost of losing your vigilante supplies
I have it but the bounces are so random that there is not real benefits from it unless you are in a close room. Vigilante for me not needed I don't seem to run out of ammo. Thanks for the comment. I'm going to run with the Rico to see what happen. Thanks have a great day
Go take a look at the GUNCO Nataruk is multiplicative so add Serration, Galv Chamber and Galv Apt. see if it has good crit chance (anything below 20 is azz) if so add critical delay and vital sense if the status chance is good you can add one primed mod and malignant force onto it another thing I know Nataruk has pretty good punch through just like the Phenmor so you can feel free to use Primed Shred if you have it. Primary Arcane should be Primary Deadhead.

if your gun has additive CO, u want only aptitude, no serration. If its explosive then only serration, no aptitude
Bro made a 1 hour video for just an easiest thing to do in the game.
Here is how to build ALL primary weapons in Warframe for all contents (even Level Cap):
Galvanized Multi shot, Crit chance, Crit dmg, Toxin + Cold (Viral), Heat (armor strip), Galvanized Status.
There are 7 mods. The last mod slot you can put Hunter Munitions for stronger Galvanized. Or additional multishot (Vigilante Armaments).

I did take some notes tho
- Gun CO is additive or multiplicative? Mult. = Will benefit from other dmg mods / Add = Wont.
- If the weapon benefits from multishot, use multishot (part of the hel I needed was on how to get to that conclusion).
- Weapon has above average Crit = Build Crit.
- Generally use raw elemental mods, unless the weapon has good status, in which case you can use 60/60s.
As far as what I said goes, I will have occupied like 5 mod slots, and I still dont know when to use multishot and when not to (maybe he said it in the video, I missed that). The 3 remaining slots are what I needed help with, yet I didnt think I had to be this specific only starting the conversation, but apparently I need to explain to you why I needed help.

In case you’re still wondering, some weapons’ explosion damage do not benefit from multishot (possibly a bug). The opticor’s explosion is 1/3 of its base damage, 2/3 still benefit from multishot.
Honestly, his comment about multishot were kinda misleading. Never forgo multishot.
So the only thing i have on my tetra is prime shred. I if possible want your opinion on it. Please give it a try. When i shoot everyone in a line almost to the 3rd enemy die like the first one. So im getting 3 kills for the price of one. Thanks for all the explanation it made all my shit a LOT better. I owe you that.
Tetra has the kinetic ricochet mod on it which is insanely OP for the auto mode making your projectiles bounce up to 7 times. The full auto mode becomes chaotic with this at the cost of losing your vigilante supplies
I have it but the bounces are so random that there is not real benefits from it unless you are in a close room. Vigilante for me not needed I don't seem to run out of ammo. Thanks for the comment. I'm going to run with the Rico to see what happen. Thanks have a great day

Go take a look at the GUNCO Nataruk is multiplicative so add Serration, Galv Chamber and Galv Apt. see if it has good crit chance (anything below 20 is azz) if so add critical delay and vital sense if the status chance is good you can add one primed mod and malignant force onto it another thing I know Nataruk has pretty good punch through just like the Phenmor so you can feel free to use Primed Shred if you have it. Primary Arcane should be Primary Deadhead.
