- This hotel is the third in a series of five hotel reviews from Arenal in Majorca, four were booked as All - Inclusive and one half board, when booking these AI hotels through Booking.com there was no mention on their booking page about alcohol limitations at various resorts and accommodations ( Magaluf. Playa de Palma & Arenal ONLY ) only once booked did a receive an email direct from the hotels explaining the change in the law on AI, this I feel is a cop out for AI Hotels ( LAW = Limit alcoholic drinks in AI Hotels but you can buy as much alcohol as you like from the same hotels bars) this should be mentioned on the booking page next to the AI room charge, tell me what you think.

I would be more dissapointed by the lack of tea and coffee making facilities than the drinks restriction.
Hi Paul, the roof terrace looks really nice, nice pool. Food looks okay. I am absoluly stunned at the fact that the 'all inclusive' doesnt apply on the roof. Unbelievable. It really puts me off. I'd definitely think twice about booking an 'all-inclusive' now. Thanks for the review.
If you want a badic hotel no frills but clean, dont agree with paying for a safe, every hotel i have ever stayed in safe was included along with the remote, the price is good, all inclusive not good as all that has changed to.

Hi Paul, your review style is very professional! I'd definitely stay at the hotel, the room is lovely and the shower is great. The food didn't look terribly appetising but I'm looking at it through a TV screen, was that a fly in your soup 😂 no UK TV is no great loss. Lovely rooftop area and amazing view over the deep blue ocean and that beautiful church! Price incredible! If I'd booked all inclusive and had the double whammy shock with the roof bar I would feel proper shafted. Take care x

The Hotel looked really really lovely. Loved the pool areas particularly the sky bar. Beautiful views. Food looked really good. Limited you will probably say. Naughty on the all inclusive again. My Granddad used to say where theres a scheme theres a schemer😉😳😲🧐. Great video Paul loved it❤

Many 4 star+ hotels in Spain have repetitive food! I would stay there - basic but clean! Look at some of the dumps you get in Blackpool for similar money!
The room and the roof top pool look great, Paul. I’d be happy if i’d booked that (excluding AI debacle obvs 😂).
It's good value for the money even for 1 person. The change in the inclusive package doesn't really me as I rarely drink alcohol but I can appreciate it upsetting those who do. The most important thing for me is the overall cleanliness of the hotel and friendly staff. This one ticks all the boxes.
My immediate impression is the room is not institutionalised like the last one. It looked great. View what it is i suppose. I could sit there 😊with a glass of wine or three. The Church did look attractive. ❤
I understand the all inclusive issue, but for £32.50 per person per night and really clean. It’s a bargain.😊😊😊

Another brilliant video. I've literally just uploaded my Majorca trip and was tempted by a couple of the Bluesea AI hotels in Arenal, until I read the small print. Really is a con, AI should mean just that. Not to mention you can happily buy as much booze as you like, but obviously those drinks don't get you drunk do they 😂
On my way! For that price. Wish I could go😢. All inclusive, not me thinks. I think their still working out the rules. Tv not important as the weather is good. Food OK. Cleanliness amazing. Shower amazing 👏 🤩
I usually book halfboard, suits my holiday style better and I guess I get a better deal now in Arenal and Magaluf on Mallorca. It is not the fault of the hotels, it is a law they have to follow, the government (of the baleares) wants to get rid of the ugly drinking groups and what they leave behind, also tourists who pay more, don`t want to be near those drinking groups.
But the change in the law hasn't made a bit of difference all the time I was there all I saw was gangs of drunken Germans everywhere so they can't be staying in the all-inclusive
Hotel looks ok, wouldn't stay in Arenal it's an old resort, German version of Magaluf which is why the all inclusive restrictions apply there.San Antonio in Ibiza is another dump which needs cleaning up, can't walk along the promenade in the evening without being accosted by drug dealers.
Room was nice only negative no wardrobe and table on balcony and the all-inclusive they should only call it full board i will definitely give these hotels a miss the price was good Paul 👍thanks for sharing ❤❤

Very strange Paul all inclusive??? and also why wouldn’t they give out some sort of card because maybe you don’t want a beer with lunch maybe you prefer a glass of milk or juice or just a cuppa it’s sort of dictating when you drink if you want the inclusive drinks very bad I think it’s going to put people off! but on another note 😁 as always great video and love the hotel tours for the price it didn’t look to bad 👍 cheers take care until next time Pauline from Blackpool living in Canada 🍁

First time I ever went abroad was too arenal in the 1970s stayed at the arenal park hotel.. don't know if it's still there

I have worked in Majorca many moons ago and have been holidaying there for 40 years and iam afraid Arinel is a toilet very few English people go there and the ones that do don't know any better or haven't been warned about the big German influence in the resort and at night time in the peak months if your English you need your wits about you if you get my drift ,Majorca is a beautiful Island especially the North there is a reason a lot of celebrities own properties there but not Arinel unfortunately 😢
Instant observation of the hanging space in the doorless wardrobe.....where would a lady hang her longer tops and dresses? There's a shelf your bag is on - and there's probably only about a foot above that to the hangers. A woman spending even a week on holiday takes way too much stuff and needs decent hanging space for it. So it's a fail for me. It's another thing though to add to your review....is the wardrobe full length for long dresses?
The all inclusive is a massive con now the rules are changed! I'd by buying Coke at the supermarket are taking it up to the chuffing roof terrace!
And the clear vegetable soup made me giggle. My father used to call it "Plughole Soup" as it looks like washing up bowl water with veg peelings that mother was just about to discard down the sink. 😆
Price wise is good for "half board PLUS" - which is what it should be called.
Should not really advertise all inclusive
I see nothing wrong with the place for the money you really can't complain okay the food is not world glass but you can usually find something you like and you don't have to spend money eating out everyday which can become expensive. I'm thinking maybe all inclusive has had its day you didn't mention the price if you just have half board or full board.

I looked at booking this on Booking and it clearly says
"The All Inclusive service of this hotel is subject to the restrictions of the Decree 1/2020, from January 17th, to promote a responsible tourism and to improve the quality of the tourist destination.
Please note the All Inclusive plan includes: - Breakfast, lunch and dinner (buffet service) - Snack between lunch and dinner - Up to 6 alcoholic drinks (wine or beer) per person (3 at lunch and 3 at dinner) - Unlimited non-alcoholic drinks throughout the day (such as soft drinks,water, coffee, tea and juices)"
