Unreal setup, can you daisy chain the audio outputs from one crave to another ie , like a mix in and mix out , to save mixing desk channels ? Ie like the Roland Aira Compacts ? Thanks in advance. 😊😊
Thanks 🧡 Yes, the Crave has a built-in mixer that can be used in many ways...also as an audio mixer. It is then possible to mix the internal audio and an additional one. Of course, this can also be a mixed signal. ( Daisy chain in the classic sense is not it I would say) But it works. In my Stetup, the Edge usually runs over the Crave at the top right, because I also only have 4 inputs on the Poly Beebo.
@@cravecave505 cheers for that...i get my Crave delivered next week, cant wait for the SPICE to be released, i reckon when the Spice is released i will buy another Volca MIX just for the 3 Behringer Moogs .lol. Peace
Working with polychain Is awesome! hello, I have a doubt, before doing damage I'm informing myself to be sure: does the "ext audio" input accept stereo minijack? for example, if I want to send the audio signal coming from a CD/cassette player into the Crave, can I do it or do I have to find a stereo-to-mono adapter? the Crave also has the "vc mix" module. mix1 and mix2 with their associated inputs. can I insert audio signal in the latter? also here, does it accept only mono? Greetings from Italy
Hi, so first of all, no polychainmode is active here. all craves are in monomode. to your questions: It can't happen much if you plug in a stereo plug. but the crave wants to have euroracklevel, you won't get far with linelevel. you won't hear anything, the signal must be significantly amplified beforehand. And when you have done that then keep in mind that you will only hear something as long as a button is pressed so as long as gate is open. as the vc mix "module" is concerned, you have the same problem... the crave expects high voltages (-5-+5V) so you have to push your audio signal first. And yes, they are all mono sockets except phones. Of course, I can't rule out that Behringer stereo sockets are installed, but then the one channel will be bridged to ground.
@@cravecave505 thank you, thank you very much. now everything is a little clearer to me .... before buying it, I thought I could put an input line and modulate it or use the filter ... with a multimeter, however, I can understand the various signals so as not to go beyond the +5v..... about the four Craves.... actually....4 mono each with its own sequencer/arpeggiator but influencing each other....😍 the Crave is a very cool synth, can't wait for the Edge to be available on the market and by now I have been waiting for years for other projects of which the prototypes are already there.... we hope they will soon be made for sale.
