Im new to the game and every creator I've watched has skipped past the attribute points as quickly as possible, thanks for taking your time and explaining it properly
Headhunter(Cool): To level up this skill you need to get headshots with ranged, melee or thrown weapons, use silenced ranged weapons to kill enemies, or use stealth and/or Optical Camo to hide from enemies. Netrunner(Intelligence): To level up this skill you need to use quick hacks to kill/neutralize enemies, breach protocol on computers and wireless networks, and Overclock to convert health to RAM. Use of Monowire and Smart weapons will also add points to this skill. Shinobi(Reflexes): To level up this skill you need to use bladed weapons, auto Rifles or SMGs to kill enemies. Use of Sandevistan cyberware to make a kill will also contribute to this skill. Solo(Body): To level up this skill you need to use Shotguns, Blunt weapons or unarmed Melee strikes to kill enemies. Use of Berserk Cyberware & Adrenaline Rush will also contribute to this skill. Engineer(Technical Ability): To level up this skill you need to use explosives like grenades or Tech weapons to kill enemies. Crafting and dismantling items will also contribute to this skill. Installing Cyberware also adds to this skill. NOTE: These skills also combine. For example, if you use a Tech Shotgun to make kills you will get both Solo & Engineering skill points. Headshot kills with a blade will get both Headhunter and Shinobi skill points.
You can only respec attribute points once so dont be like me and use it wisely. There is a mod that lets you respec as much as you want, but it would have been nice to be able to play with different builds in the base game.
On the build planner side CDPR has provided it says that I have total of 80 skill points to spare, if my math is correct, even with PL Expansion it's impossible because you can get only 70 (60 from levels and bonus 10 points from the skill progression) So where are the other 10 skill points? am I missing something? or will levels from 51 to 60 give two instead of one skill point?
Hey in the Technology section I see Edgerunner but I don’t see grease monkey, did they change its name & what’s the best section in technology that will allow u too craft legendary iconics??

so a year and abit ago i used a tool to give myself more points/skills, i went abit overboard and kinda ruined my character, will these changes carry over still to the new system if i start playing again or am i lucky and everything is reset?
Tbh I think they need to give us more skill points and those blue points because really thick everyone would benefit where they can get all skill points up 20 and be able to do everything we can see plus they do need to add more arms to get plus a place to upgrade your cars.
Absoutely rediculous that attributes can only be changed once... its a single player game. Im not trying to restart the entire game to play a different play style...I understand they at least tell you that it can only be done once, but to implement that restriction is stupid in the first place.....
WHAT THE HELL!!??? why don’t my perks look like that?? why is resetting attributes not even possible for me? and i can’t even find the perks i want.. where tf is the Dash and Air dash perk????
When I go to swap out my cyberware, when I remove something, it lowers my max capacity. Then I can’t equip the thing I just took off because I don’t have enough cyberware points. Is this a glitch or something?

So you get 49 from leveling. You get 10 perk shards that are scattered around night city in ncpd tasks. You get 10 more from skill progression. That's 70. And you get 10 more from leveling up with phantom liberty dlc. So 80 total. Some people with old saves might have slightly more due to changes to progression rewards
if you're playing on PC I suggest save editor. add yourself as many perk and attribute points as you wish, except there's really no point since all of those new 'perks' are shitty, useless and mostly situational. still, never know what you might need

No. Only skill points. Attribute points can only be reset once. This is to allow people with saves prior to 2.0 have a chance to try the new attribute coming with phantom liberty.
I just think the new system is awfull compared to the old being forced to level an thing before an other isent exactly wat i call fun I hate leveling in dis game now efry upgrade is just garbage to me "oh wow storming how grate...." Also dat 2 trees got mushed in to one is just sh.t
More diverse, at least from what we had. We used to just run the same perks because we had access to anything we wanted. Now you gotta think what perk u want and choose what u prefer to reach that perk.
I thought the relic tree would be more in-depth than what it is compared to the other skill trees..really enjoying my fresh playthrough, this game has come so far even though I enjoyed it at launch also. Did not encounter bugs like most. A couple more expansions would make this game god-tier. But the switch to ue5 killed that. I do expect little patches to continue for a bit though.
@@zKarmayou better make sure you’re building a high intelligent character otherwise you’re locked out of the hidden ending because it take X intelligence to merge delamains personalities. What they’ve done is completely kill player freedom and punish you for leveling up any way other than how they want you to. They’ve 100% made builds less diverse, plus considering they’ve killed health regen every player will need to build V as a healer to some capacity.
Imagine having to reset all your attributes just to pass 1 skill check…. That’s the reality of cyberpunk right now, you either make V the way CDPROJEKTRED wants you to or you use your only respec OR completely start the game over for one door.

Does mono wire scale on cool or reflex??
@@Alecfisher01 Monowire is a 'Blade"/Reflex weapon which is one of the reasons it doesn't blend as well with Netrunner builds as it should.

You can only respec attribute points once so dont be like me and use it wisely. There is a mod that lets you respec as much as you want, but it would have been nice to be able to play with different builds in the base game.

There are 10 you can find around night city. NCPD quests that provide perk shards. Look up a video. "All perk shard locations"

They removed crafting from the attributes, you can access crafting from the inventory section I think

None of these "skills" make a blind but if difference. The games not exactly hard. And mitigation is a giant pile.
