As a video presenter myself , i know how much work goes into making videos like this one and wish to thank you for all the effort you put into this remarkable presentation (and the other trees also). Thanks
Thank you for all of your work Z, always appreciate your straight to the point no nonsense style and that you actually show your testing results to backup the information.
I have really enjoyed these skill tree explainer videos. I just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to make them and for all the work you put in testing the perks. Cheers!
Great video man. Very useful. I really don't like the new hacking tree. Why do developers always gotta make perks like "+2 ram for 3 seconds when you kill an enemy with a quickhack who's holding a smart gun while running away from you on a Sunday afternoon" Just make it have less perks but make them meaningful
It's weird you try to invent a perk effect to show them being bad when they really aren't like that. You have a perk that gives you +2 ram on smart weapon kills. Simple, effective, and impactful. The perks really aren't that complex or conditional
@@Jereb343 5:50 Listen to this bullsh*t 15:48 Some more bullsh*t 18:33 Even more bullsh*t. Even if it worked it would be an almost completely useless effect with a nonsense requirement. And why is it so that to use all these stupid perks you have to upload a full queue on the enemy. Netrunner gameplay has become even more mindless than before. Now you almost don't even have to think what you are uploading. Breach Protocol at least introduced a bit of variety on the actions you perform. It's a mess. I just don't like it. And yeah I guess my exaggeration for comedic effect was not accurate to reality but that's kinda the point.
As of Patch 2.12, Feedback Loop is still BUGGED. It can reduce your RAM generation to -3%, meaning you constantly degenerate RAM, and also cause your health to degenerate forever, both until you reload your save.
Synapse burnout is fun. You can make an entire build around it that does 20k - 100k+ dmg when built correctly. Since it gives overclock duration, it gives you infinite duration on it too. Its 100% gonna get nerfed.
I believe you are right and I kinda hope it will, because it makes other builds more in line with netrunning. Netrunning will most likely still be good, even without those ridicilous damage numbers and infinite loops to keep overclock going.
Loved the video. Found out I was waiting a perk on Queue Prioritization... Quick note: If you start getting negative RAM regeneration, deactivate Feedback Loop. For some reason the bonus was staying and stacking infinitely. Don't know how easy it will be to test, but you notice it pretty easily if you abuse overclock and fill all the queues all the time.
@@OnisshokuYes, it also happened to me when I was researching what was going on. I said that because I only noticed it when I was outside of combat, and my RAM was always at 0 and didn't regenerate. Basically, you could get instant RAM without overclock with this, but if stacked to much it goes into the negatives.
I did test out the skill Precision Subroutines quite a bit and it does seem to work. To see the differences the best I compared no cyberdeck versus the cyberdeck which provides 20RAM when fully upgraded. I attacked the same group of enemies multiple times to test the differences. There was a noticable difference. Without a cyberdeck the bullets flew straight past the target, if not aimed almost directly at a target. With the 20RAM cyberdeck this happened much less and the bullets also seemed to lock-on faster to the next enemy.
Thanks for the work. I have been wasting ponts on Proximate Propagation, Warning: Explosive Hazard & Queue Prioritization. Maybe they will fix this later, but in the meantime I will change my build. Thanks.
@@hokiehi1000 just hit middle click to refund perks at any time lol, it's shown in the ui. But sure, I think you should be able to buy attribute respecs.
Precision subroutines does work at least based on on the different of shots hit on guns like the divide we stand with and without the perk. Does seem to be higher then 2% per ram though but it might be stacking with other effects.
Thanks for clearing up how the RAM restoration perks work. CDPR really screwed pure Netrunners over on that front, especially with Patch 2.02. Gonna be dumping Blood Daemon, Data Recycler and Speculation in favor of other stuff now.
Awesome video, really helpful! I played back in 1.0 when you could just use one or two hacks and zero an entire alley full of gonks. I've been struggling to make sense of how to play a caster in the current version of the game, and your video really cleared up a lot for me. Lots of lemon perks, a few really interesting ones tho. Anyone try Copy Paste, Overclock and Spillover on an enemy Netrunner?
I’ll check. I see what you mean. But read the description for the first queue perk. It says increased upload speed of second quickhack in the queue. Why would this perk call the second, first instead? That’s why it didnt cross my mind, but ima check later tonight.
@zKarma I get what you mean. I got thrown off by the description of the queues. Why would Hack Queue give bonus speed to quickhacks second in the queue if you can't have a second in the queue until Queue Acceleration? Why would Queue Acceleration increase upload speed for the third quickhack in a queue or later if you can't get a third quickhack in a queue until Queue Mastery, and later than third in a queue doesn't exist? Up until I watched your vids, I was convinced by these descriptions that all 4 quickhacks you can have targeting a single enemy at once were part of the queue. The perk descriptions need an overhaul, as plain as the COX-2 1000% quickhack damage does
I'll start playing again when the next patch comes out fixing the perks. There are almost no passives that work. It's been a week since this was reported by thousands of people and still no patch news.
I would really like to know whether all the cyberware cooldown reductions and duration extensions (such as from the Technical Ability Tree, Cyborg and Extended Warranty) also reduce the cooldown of Overclock (because the cyberdeck is a cyberware). Do you know this? Btw great video!
@@palegod ua-cam.com/video/1OC5ilLAlnY/v-deo.htmlsi=BbU0nZB3QNRmQkJd Based on this video, I saw it hit every enemy on the network. After a hack hits the netrunner hacking V, the hack spreads to everyone else. Its around 7 mimutes in.
I have two clarification and answers are greatly appreciated. 1. Does the Cyberware Ram Reallocator also recovers health when your are in Overclock mode with Sublimation perk? 2. Does the +60% quickhack damage applies to all enemies affected by Ping or only on the primary target to whom you casted the Ping?
@@zKarma i see. Thanks Also if you can test the iconic version of all quickhacks you may find some are not working properly as well or some iconic versions are just the same. For example the iconic Contagion is the same with the non iconic version and is also bugged, the iconic Contagion does not proc the effect of exploding after being affected by Overheat for the primary target unlike the non iconic version which works fine.
Question I’m on the ps5 and I’m already on pro for my perks but I can’t seem to purchase any of the dam skills I’m also level 15 on the attributes does anyone have an explanation for this
Excellent breakdown, it's a shame after all this time they still have bugged and very poorly or misleading perk descriptions. I also hate how you have to fill the core perks to max before being able to progress through the tree. For example, rank 3 of target lock transfer is kinda useless.
It most definitely is not useless lol. Combine it with submachine fun in the reflex tree and equip a pair of smart smgs and it lets you fire indefinitely without ever having to reload. There's lots of hidden synergy between the attribute trees now.
The fact that players need to check if perks actually work is infuriating. The whole perk/stats system is so fkin wobbly, really annoying. Nice job tho.

I don't understand Feedback Loop. All the quickhacks already upload so fast (1-2 seconds), +25% Ram recovery rate will basically mean nothing. There're also other perks that increase upload speed so it'll be even more worthless. I think many perks here are quite useless.
