Thank you David....that's one of the best compliments we could receive. :) That may very well be us from time to time. We fly over that way regularly. :)
It's so much fun to watch you'all VFR fly in a rock solid plane over such beautiful country. Ain,t No time for the summer time blues. Cheers, Rik Spector
Entertaining video with funny guys, you could see they were impressed with your 310, just as we are. You have really made a great job of upgrading the plane.
Ok I have to add this to this channel. I an a HUGE WWII aircraft lover. These final moments before landing look exactly how the guys running their bombing runs went into the Germain countryside. This is great! God I wish I could fly with you! Fantastic!
I loved this video very much! However, I missed not seeing Jaime, your beautiful Co-Pilot! However, thank you for like bringing me onboard to re-live the fun and excitement aviation brought me before my dad passed away. :(
Great video Kevin. Always fun to see people laughing. I just happen to be a subscriber of "Just Plain Silly". A "BIG " shout out to Bryan. Tell Bryan, he was obscuring my view of Jaime in the R/S! I am not sure I would want to fly with you guys. I might have too much fun! C Y'all !
Typical landing with Pilots in the cabin. You could hear a pin drop and they were landing that plane with you. A true brotherhood only pilots can experience. Looks like y’all all had a good trip now I’m ready for one. Keep’em coming Kevin.
CONGRATULATIONS on the article in the CESSNA FLYER, I just received it yesterday, July 13 2019. I was really glad that you and Jamie got this kind of recognition .... both of you are fantastic embassedor
Enjoyed seeing the video inset of your takeoff as seen from the ground, plus seeing and hearing the other aircraft takeoffs you included made your video more interesting with the variety. A couple weeks ago, I had a friend fly my Cirrus to a nearby airport for its annual while I drove over to bring him back. I was able to watch from the ground to see and hear my aircraft takeoff and climb out, plus he did one circle overhead. Now, I could stand there and see a hundred takeoffs in a day, but when it was my aircraft there was something special about it, that was pretty neat.
Knowing nothing about flying but having watched your videos, I did notice you forgot to increase the orange mixture controls before starting down the runway, and was hoping it would not be a problem. You did correct quickly and because your such a good pilot no one would have been the wiser if you hadn't mentioned it, Ha! Great video and I missed Jaime too. Sorry but she's become very special to all your followers. Fly safe.
Excellent video Kevin---looked like one heelva good time you all had. Those two you had with ya are a hoot!!Thanks from Cajun Country and GOOo Tigers. As of this comment --we awaiting landfall of Tropical Storm /Hurricane Barry. Dry air from the northeast are shearing off the tops disabling strengthing of the storm!!!!
Those two guys are a poor substitute for the regular copilot LOL. Good one Kevin. Glad your friends are impressed by your 310, auto pilot and your skills. Always interesting and informative videos. Thanks and take care.
Kevin and Jaime, my dad and I used to do these kind of meetups and type of flying. When we did not have any passengers on board. Plus did hammerhead stalls, lazy eights and etc. Sadly, my dad passed away back in 2018 and I miss him alot! I wished I had the money to get my license to continue the family tradition of pilots. The main 3 airplanes that I used to fly with my dad were a Falcon 10 & 20, Merlin 3A & 2B, P-58 Baron, and a Commander (Renaissance Commander.) I'm not sure if you ever heard on the radio or when you or Jaime were at work. Ever heard either Falcon 72 Bravo Bravo, Commander triple 3 Hotel Charlie, or Baron 58 Tangle Bravo? We used to fly right over Chicago en-route to Travelers City, Mi when he used to fly the Falcon 10 & 20. Besides going pretty much all over the US in the Falcon jets. We did not like flying the Baron very much. Due to the fact that it felt cramped and the passengers always smoked on board. Besides it felt like a roller coaster flying over the Rocky Mts. When we would either be going to Denver, Colo or Riverton, Wy in it. Lastly, we flew the twin engine turbo prop Commander pretty much flew all over the US and parts of Mexico in it. Besides we flown twin and single engine Cessna's. Cessna's 172, 206, and 210 single engines to the twin engines of the Cessna's 303, and the Cessna 421.
@@310Pilot this was when I was working on my multi. Haven't flown since 2006. Heart attack, diabetes same year. Still love aviation Flightradar24, local to GYI
There are multiple cameras but only 1 that is recording sound. So before you start, you make 1 loud noise that all the cameras can hear. Then in the video editing tool, you set the videos to sync based on audio. The software lines them up based on that clap and the video tracks are now in sync. This means that you can now switch between multiple cameras and they will be at the same point in time. IT is 10X easier to let the software do it vs dragging the video clips around and trying to get peoples lips to sync up to what they are saying on the audio. This I think is why they used to use those clap boards on TV where they would snap the top open and closed at the beginning of a scene. Hope this helps and makes sense.
Hey Kevin and Bryan - next time you come to RR, come visit Bowling Green just 20 minutes south. Come see the Corvette factory and museum and race fast go karts at the Corvette track. I'll have to try to make it to RR next year and twist your arms to fly south a bit.
Airplanes, music, beer, and good friends - doesn't get any better than that! 🍻 What a sight picture, even through the computer screen here on that low approach - comin' in hot! You were MOOVIN'! 👍👍 Man that looked FUN! I'll have all you guys beat for slow speeds once I get my paramotor - talkin' a blistering 16 knot ground speed, maybe 18. 😂 Gonna be pulling the trigger on that contraption very soon here. 😎 Great to meet your buddies. I'll have to check out their channels once I get a free minute here. My kind of people right there. 🍻 GREAT vid, Kevin - thanks!
Two funny passengers you picked up there, Kevin - almost as funny as Jaime. Looks like a fun adventure. I just hope there were adult chaperones present. Thanks for sharing.
Ha ha...we needed some chaperones. If Jaime would have been with them I think I would have been laughing too much to fly. :) Two comedians is all I can take at once.
Thank you for another view of my old home. I used to walk the length of that runway dreaming of one day landing there myself. I guess this is the closest I will ever get so thanks again for this post. By the way, I will definitely check out those other two channels!
I have a newfound appreciation as to how GREEN everything is around the TN and AL line. Happy to say I will be a Tennessean! Bread buttered on the landing btw!
I don't blame Jamie for getting tired of getting hit on by some of the yahoos watching these videos. If you're not an airplane or aviation fan, go take your purient mind elsewhere. This is for serious flying fans only! Back in the late 60's - early 70's my dad had a flying school at ARR. I used to be the CAP Cadet Commander for the Aurora Composit Squadron. We spent many a night at Aurora Municipal guarding the coneceesions the nights of and marshalling aircraft during air shows. Keep it up you guys.
First off, congrats on moving up to the 310! I absolutely LOVE mine and plan to keep it as my forever plane. No real tips on the flying part as it's a great performer. Depending on your background with high performance/complex/twins use caution as things happen much faster. :) I love my LightSpeed Zulu's. I have a 2 that I've owned for many years that I moved back to the passenger seats and upgraded to 3's. I've tried Bose, David Clark's, CA, etc but these are by far my favorites. I've flown for many hours a day and they are still comfy. :)
