Thanks for coming in and checking out the dry ice blasting. I have a love/hate relationship with Dry Ice Blasting. It's fun, satisfying, and works well on many surfaces. IF you plan on doing complete undercarriage or suspension cleaning, be prepared, it's very messy. It will also reduce interior detailing time by at least 30%. Our shop doesn't have many interiors, but this would be a must-have for a dealership or auction house detailer. We have seen great success for individuals who want to start another division of their business (even mobile). The bring-a-trailer type cars are in love with this cleaning; we have been approached by a few high-end dealers and wholesalers who want the complete undercarriage done. We have done a few but ultimately stopped until we have a dedicated space for this type of work. Great video Brian.
Very interesting video. I like the idea of Dry Ice Blasting but for a big shop like yours it would be worth it. I know your system is working great so you probably don’t need to invest in that. Thanks Brian 👊🏼
I have never used dry ice detailing but it looks very cool. I have used dry ice working in grocery stores when the power goes out and we would put a bag in every third door of the freezer. This stuff is messy and yes it is so cold. In my opinion this technology is best used in restoration projects with a large budget. The equipment is expensive and so is the dry ice.
Hey Brian, would you be able to review Ammo Nyc Blush Finishing Wax? I have been wanting to try it but can not justify its price tag, and there seems to be no reviews on it besides the ones their own website. Thanks!
Sorry to say totally waist of money. It is very difficult to manage dry ice. I just can't see this implication around my shop. It might be handy to restoration shop where complete stripping is needed. Very minimal mess. Plus, it is so cold it might crack clear coat. Dry ice temperature is about minus 110F.
What's the point if this in the engine compartment? Any degreaser and pressure washer will be quicker and cheaper. The warning says not to use it but as long as you don't go full blast into connectors and electronics, it's fine. It doesn't say, don't use dry ice because it's a new process. And for tar on the fender, a towel with wax and grease remover wiped off in 5 seconds. Why remove undercoating anyway? Sounds like it's just a new toy
The air around you will be filled with micro and nano-particles for hours afterwards, wear a quality respirator to protect your lungs and if possible provide for safe extraction and exhaust.
Cool technology no pund intended lol. However the only place that this would be productive in a detail shop is to offer undercarriage cleaning. Am I wrong in assuming this?
You would have to do a s*** ton of freaking work with one of them that justify the money of the machine itself let alone what the dry ice cost, I feel old school detailing and using a steamer is far more Superior than this crap this is for high-end freaking guys who have money and they don't know what to do with it it's cool and all but it's not that damn cool I mean six grand dammmmmmm
What do YOU think about Dry Ice Blasting?
Very impressive and intriguing imo
I do enjoy watching a time-lapse undercarriage cleaning but I think you would have to be a very high-volume shop to make this feasible
Very effective without the abrasive or chemical hazards of other cleaning options
Yes, it’s nice. Quite a big investment up front, but if you got the clientele, go for it
@@danakern2440I don’t think so. What detailing shops across America offer this service?
Another excellent video and demonstration Brian.

Epic time at the CAP 💪🧼
Cool minimal mess no chemicals
Nice addition to Detailing
Like u said, very expensive and time consuming, for me it doesn't make sense, if you look after your car regularly
this is ridiculous .. spend one week to clean one car ..
Very interesting process, would have never thought this could work....

Really fascinating. Looking forward to making an appointment with you soon. Still working on getting repairs done as a result of an accident.
You Should have closed the lid of the machine while explaining about dry ice safety. 😅 Bt a great video 👍🏻
I think those are the worst swirls I've ever seen.
How do the front wheels have a wider lip than the back? I thought those are RWD?
Would this remove a ceramic coating when removing tar?
Not at all
Stupid for sure - waste of money, time, and space to store dry ice just makes no good sense when there are faster cheaper solutions

Will this dry ice cleaning system remove any of the factory undercoating on a Porsche 911?
YES, my local business does it frequently
Yes, safely and efficiently

You obviously have no car experience especially in cars of appreciating value .
Gracias video ser!!
Great concept. But out of my price range

Nice

I'm not Impressed at ALL!..Seems like a Waste Of Money & Time..
I like this kind👍🏻

Too time consuming.
Cuánto dura el hielo y que se necesita para trabajar este equipo
Very informative!
It looks like very tedious work. But all tools have their place. Brian, are you getting one?
In this the champ turbo pro ? Or just the champ turbo ?

Amazing video and content/tutorial good friend. What can u charge 4 that service?
I don’t see the dirt going anywhere. Where does the dirt that you clean off actually disappear to?
dry ice has its niche, but even it cant fix ghetto camber and fart can exhausts!! LOL
What fitting is required on the air hose to plug into the Chicago fitting on the machine ?
Would you buy one Brian? Do you see it being valuable in the future of detailing?
The difference between men and boys is the price of their toys . 😎
Does it work on faded plastic trims?
Yikes looks slow af tho
