If my memory serves me correctly, Scott is basically the reason why dry ice blasting is popular in the UA-cam automotive space at the moment. I remember Tommy visiting Dryce like 4 years ago, and he adopted it, and it's been the trendy thing ever since!
Tom frick yes is the master of all things dry iced and zinced. Legend has it the reason he's been absent on UA-cam is because hes been in recovery from dry ice blasting and fully zincing his bald head😮
The music throughout this video was extremely classy! Porsche got this man hitting different. Also that engine transformation was awesome. Seriously impressed.
It was really interesting to hear what Scott had to say. He seems like such a grounded, genuine and intelligent guy. Killer video, I am excited for more "Porch" content.
I absolutely love subscribing to you and watching these uploads is stuff of wonder, i am a tech at a European car service shop, so listening to all the details and comments made actually help me in my daily work, so thank you:)
It aint nothing funnier than seeing you evolve and see you grow from first bmx tutorials to first donut in cream machine, having your backyard skate park,... then all rest is the history when now you have your own town... dayum Adam... You inspire a lot of people also here in Europe... Greeting from Slovenia! Come visit sometime and you will receive warm welcome and lot of driving roads... 2h from us are dolomites in Italy, passo Stevio,...
Adam, your honesty on everything you do, or are involved in, are why you are successful, it resinates with fun, and a passion for living a life free from BS. I’ve ridden BMX my whole life. I’m 48 now, and have owned an E-36 to drift in the past. Being from Utah, I’ve had my share of influences. Fuzzy Hall, which I witnessed at our local track Twin Peaks in the late 80s, Matt Beringer, Mike Aitken, and countless others that have been critical in our culture. I’m now just a fan of drifting. I enjoy the fact that you influence others to be one with their passion in life. As long as I’m able to ride, I will. Thanks for all of the passion and influence you bring to us, the fans.🤘🏻😝
My father bought that truck new in 1976. He taught me to drive it at 14 yrs. old. I found it last year and bought it back! Stored all its life and only 340k miles. I'll NEVER sell it.
@@ScottAlesman I had goosebumps when I saw those MV Agustas and especially that pristine looking 500 SEL Benz but the most unexpected was the 308 with the Colombo V12. Mind blown instantly
Love watching these videos and these types of builds from you Adam, the level of detail and cleanliness is something I really admire. Incredible stuff, can’t wait to see it all back together
I ruptured my ACL and fractured my knee yesterday and this build, and your channel already brings me so much joy, so you being here for this will help me so much!
I was going through my bookshelf and found the LZ compound book that you got in the drop when you first announced the compound. Even tho it wasn’t all that long ago it was nostalgic to look through it and see how far the compound has come! Keep up the awesome work!
It's so great to see dry ice blasting on your channel. Scott is incredible to this industry. If anyone needs dry ice blasting work done in New York, check us out at Clear Cryo in Oyster Bay!
There is actually a wax coating on all the early Porsches. Which is why the engine and whole under neath of the car looks a bit brown. It's actually made to prevent rust and its a very good sign for an original car, which thus leads to increased value. So generally, you don't want to get rid of your wax! Haha
It's cosmoline meant to protect the cars when shipped outside Germany. To keep the salt air from corroding things. For daily drivers, we can easily replace that with a newer clear option.
Adam, loving your content! I've been a fan since your BMX days, and we both share a passion for Porsche's. Quick tip for your large-scale tear downs: grab a multi-compartment hardware tray with a lid (Home Depot has them). It's a game-changer for keeping your hardware organized. Put sticky notes on compartments with instructions like "Large bolt at 9 o'clock, small bolt at 3 o'clock," etc. Learned this in a body shop, and it's saved me countless times. Keep the awesome Porsche content coming!
I used to work at an injection molding plant that exclusively made stuff for the medical industry so all the sealed clean manufacturing ”cells” and so on. We used dry ice to clean the molds as no aerosols or liquids were allowed anywhere near the products. Super cool to work with!
Watching Adam's vids feels like every car guy's ADD and OCD dreams come together in a chain of wacky side quests; he's for a bit of everything, does it all and has an attention to detail we should all strive to be able to match one day. Absolutely fantastic content as usual 🫡🫡
I survived a car crash and watching you thru my recovery in 2017 was a massive help, i kept a car key from the car, i could put the fan next to my key and maybe one day i the fan could bring the fan all the back to the compound and then another fan can win it and then creates the fan revival programme, i would also love the job I’m creative as you can see
Thanks a bunch for being educational and entertaining Adam. I love watching these videos almost as soon as they upload, however I'm late to the game today, can't wait til my next LZMFG Merch order. Have an excellent weekend dude!
I know those bikes don't do much for you but MV Agusta is like the Ferrari of the motorcycle world. If you know the value of classic Ferrari's you get why those bikes are motorcycle royalty.
I recently have started a very funky build, a 06 Mercedes E350 I’m swapping a re assembled M273 v8 from a E500. I’m doing the timing chain, balance shaft, rods. They bolt right up too 722.9 transmissions, and the rear ends are know to be able to handle some decent power. I’m super excited!
You must be a very good son because your mom keeps getting in the car with you even though you scared her to death multiple times. Those are the best videos.
Super cool video! It's nice to see how you've grown as a UA-camr and car enthusiast, I still remember the good old BMX days, I'll be always watching your videos and I hope some day I can achieve half of what you've done adam❤
Was trying to think of something funny like a joke but you said no jokes so Adam this ones for you funny moment for me was watching you way back when you were working out of your home garage spilling oil and coolant all over your swisstracks to seeing how much youve grown to the where you are today the ocd you have and the attention to detail always puts a smile on my face to see that passion that you have for cars the love you have for them #cancelburbletunes
Scott reminds me of Matt from OG. Seems to know his industry and products intimately. Also both of them have that extremely calm dad demeanour which I suppose is why Adam likes and trusts them so much.
Getting the pork chop ice blasted “RANGE ROVER” was a next level task. I’m happy to accept the funniest post even though I don’t have instagram. “It’s snowing” and “You’re not a mechanic Adam’ are my back up plan
Brought an evo after being inspired by yours and now realising how expensive it’s getting get. Remember kids good wheels ain’t cheap, cheap wheels ain’t good. 🤙🏼
Scott is one of my favorite people that exist. Stoked to see him and you together!
mike doesn’t get enough appreciation, the attention to every shot is amazing and the quality is always so crisp, thank you mike🥰
AGREED TRUE 🐐
Think he is getting paid pretty well. That is appreciation.
If my memory serves me correctly, Scott is basically the reason why dry ice blasting is popular in the UA-cam automotive space at the moment. I remember Tommy visiting Dryce like 4 years ago, and he adopted it, and it's been the trendy thing ever since!
And to an extent, pioneered the process as it is today.
i remember that big shoutout to Scott, this is huge for the sneaker cleaning, i mean automotive industry
Scott Ales didn’t pioneer a thing. Did he make dry ice blasting more popular, yes.
Tom frick yes is the master of all things dry iced and zinced. Legend has it the reason he's been absent on UA-cam is because hes been in recovery from dry ice blasting and fully zincing his bald head😮
I SEXUALLY IDENTIFY AS A SHOPPING TROLLEY
" DAD! I've got another business ideaaa!"
*shows him a $14,000 dry ice blaster*
Immediately went to see 14k price tag for little machine. Booth hepa system, and space suit are probably another 60k at least 😢
The jazz style music while the motor was getting clean was on point.
thats what im saying, all my worries left my body
Same, I love the jazz music under that section.
Where can I find it, what’s it called?
Okay I found it already, thanks anyway!
* Karen’s tune - Matt Large *
100% agree
The music and B roll was SOOOO soothing. I never really comment on videos but after a stressful day this made it so much better.
Blue balls idk

Is like a Matt clone or at least a relative hahah
Is this a dad joke or….
Scott is the nicest person you’ll ever meet.
Scott is the icest guy you’ll ever meet - real chill

My minty boyyyy gettin even more fresh 💚💚💚

Haha 😝 so true
I like how your slowly converting him, even got him driving the purple/pink ram
I bet Adam wouldn't give away that fan if he knew what the price for recycled magnesium was
I think its time to add a goat to the compound.
Marco_delacruz_
whenever Sean judges your mechanic skills makes me laugh, hes like a judgmental dad when you move the flashlight lol.
The music throughout this video was extremely classy! Porsche got this man hitting different.

This was so dang satisfying. Scott is the dry ice wizard and love that he’s close. This car is going to be too dang nice though
The jazz music while dry ice blasting was perfect. Great job guys, can’t wait for this build to be completed. One of my favorite cars too
The ram and the Porsche are literally cosmo and wanda🩷💚
Dry ice is definitely the way of the future for cleaning & preserving, not just for cars but so much more, thanks for the walk through of it, Rj in Oz

I could have listened to him talk about cleaning stuff for like another hour, so cool!
dry ice is excellent when done like this. I've never used it but loved vapor blasting those cases during rebuilds

Scott seemed so happy to talk about the dry ice stuff that it made me happy! Loved the video!!
Wow that truck was absolutely pristine 😮 what a rig
My father bought that truck new in 1976. He taught me to drive it at 14 yrs. old. I found it last year and bought it back! Stored all its life and only 340k miles. I'll NEVER sell it.
I hope you're talking about that black Kenworth W900 and not that pink monstrosity! 😂😂
@j.d.8593 Yes I am!
@@j.d.8593 That is correct!

I bet Matt liked this
Looks like a straight up survivor crate motor now, so clean, insane… Also that 308 with the V12 swap is awesome.
I need to just record videos of junkyard finds before and after dry ice treatment… lol mesmerizing…
I ruptured my ACL and fractured my knee yesterday and this build, and your channel already brings me so much joy, so you being here for this will help me so much!
Is this Ruddy?!
Looks awesome. I love dry ice cleaning. I wonder if hydro blaster would work even better on that transmission.
The view of the motor half way cleaned is insane. When cleaned, it looks almost brand new!
I was going through my bookshelf and found the LZ compound book that you got in the drop when you first announced the compound. Even tho it wasn’t all that long ago it was nostalgic to look through it and see how far the compound has come! Keep up the awesome work!
You are living the dream my friend. Congrats on how far youve made it and all your accomplishments Adam.
Mike you did an amazing job capturing everything. I feel like I didn't miss anything with the ice blasting

That 308 with the v12 is ridiculous. What an amazing car they’ve aged really well.
Those MV are on another level, stunning bikes 👌🏻
Mint so clean makes me wanna squint.
But really watching dry ice blasting is so satisfying. It's amazing what it can do.
The condition of the hardware on the engine is FANtastic 😌
He seemed awesome, just like my neighbor who had an amazing fox body before he passed, he always let me take rides with him growing up
This build is gonna be so sweet!! Gotta love classic Porsches
It’s crazy how well it worked! The car is back to “minty” fresh!

Those LZMFG straps could hold down a 9-5 job and support a family of four!
@calebsboring
Adam is living my dreams that I didn't even know I have. From teaching how to barspin to rebuilding old Porsche's. Thanks man @ap250
SOOO Satisfying,
Nice truck
Dry ice blasting is amazing, but it is such a dirty job but it just feels right when someone does it properly like Scott!
New game just dropped. “ICE BLASTING SIMULATOR”
Now give me the magnesium!
Dry clutches have the coolest sound on bikes. ❤
This is better than anything on Netflix right now.
Scott truly is the man
