Don't Love it, Don't Hate it - 2023 KX250

Test ride on a 2023 Kawasaki KX250. I don't love it, but don't hate it either. It's a good bike that doesn't have any WOW factors in my opinion but nothing to really complain about either. Does the job and typically Kawasaki has good rebates so you can get good deals.

I still want the Yamaha.
I do constantly find myself falling in and out of love with the KX. Always leaves me wanting a little more out of it. Especially after riding the YZ250F. Overall a super well rounded bike that doesn’t do one thing better than the other. It’s very consistent, which is a good thing in itself.

Its so funny seeing you on your buddies bike that i literally JUST finished watching him ride less than 10 minutes ago. Hahaha My buddy's got a 2014 Pro Circuit built KX250F, and I find my FrankenRockstar 2015 FC250 is almost as fast. Just grabbed a '19 Rockstar 450, but i still wanna rip a YZF. Its early, sorry for rambling. Love the content, shred on n keep em on 2. 🤙🏼

The KX is a fun bike. If Kawi could upgrade simpleengine components, seals, bolts, and better map options, plus give more bottom end, I think they'd be more well rounded. That said, for the money and fun factor, it's a good option if you are a weekend warrior and don't ring the bike out.

the 150 is an excellent moto and woods bike! When I hit the trails, I typically let a few PSI out of the fork and soften the compression clicker.

Because it’s a 250 man ? Not going to feel like it has a load of bottom end power lol that is why I have never even tried riding one because they are horrible for grown ups. I wouldn’t even let,my kid buy a 250 f. You would,get so bored,with that bike super quick.😂

I just have a hard time liking kawi in general. So they own a 50% stake in bimota which is know for there handling development/technology and styling. However kawi bikes road and dirt all handle mediocre, look like garbage (most models and have no flare or anything exciting about them). I want to like kawasaki but they are really falling behind compared to European manufacturers and even their rival Japanese counterparts.
