Hi Jeff!!! another great one and 80's synthpop classic for sure.... i think down here we only listen to three of the four singles released "Shout", "Head Over..." and "Everybody..." this is how the pop music from that decade should be remembered, imo. cheers and be well
What an album! I haven’t seen those videos in years. Great overview. I overlooked this album back in the day even though I really liked all the singles. Great job Jeff!
"Everybody Wants to Rule the World" was the first single in the US. "Mothers Talk" was the 4th single in the US. I agree with Roland in that I think it is the weakest track on the album. Although, I don't think there is a stronger song in the B-sides that didn't make the album. I don't dislike "Mothers Talk", it is just the least appealing song on the album for me. "The Working Hour" is one of my favorite songs of all time. It so well crafted. Love the sax. This is one of the best albums from the 80's.
for me it is a top album of 85 together with "Once Upon A Time" Simple Minds, "Hunting High And Low" A-ha and "Love" The Cult

Thanks Cristian! I agree this is a great representation of the best of 80;s pop. Cheers!
Great group and overall a strong album, I give it a solid 8. Nice video highlights.

Thanks Gary! One of those classic albums I never tire of hearing. Waves of nostalgia seeing these old clips for me.
So good. Top ten album.
Thanks!
