I too went down to the hidden lake and the campsite that you're describing was already taken. Unfortunately, this entire area is generally very crowded during the summertime.

It's a cuben fiber Six Moon Designs Haven tarp - a two man tarp, plus the companion bug net. The bugnet is 16oz and the cuben fiber shell is only 10-11oz. I'm not sure why, but Six Moon stopped production of the cuben fiber version a year or two ago. They still make the silnylon version. I bought it off ebay for $100 - a screaming deal even though I'm pretty certain its a 'second' (a flawed version not up for retail sale) - there are tiny little flaws, but I love it.
