I agree! And that means “agressive rest”! To bed with you until you are BETTER, or you’ll catch another one of the three viruses going around and get even sicker!
So proud of you Sandi, so patient even with those who post somewhat negative comments, wish they could walk one day in your shoes. You have always amazed me at the amount of work you put out in your life, wife, mother and rancher and farmer! You are amazing! God Bless you!
Carissa, is a very key part to your operation! Others can always do the work but certain people can see things that others would miss. I worked milking dairy cattle for about five years. My boss once told me God made woman with certain instincts so she could pick up on the signs and symptoms often missed by men. Because we are meant to be mothers and our internal senses just work different when it comes to caring for others. Not to say men can't be good at it too. Carissa has those instinct and as the years have passed she has further developed them. Get well soon Carissa the mommas and babies need you!
@Annette Robert 237 reunited and 238 they're leaving. If you push on her channel and go to "videos" they are there in the order she posted the videos. Hope that is helping... I wouldn't miss one of her videos either. So I understand... ❤️
I'm so proud of your unsung hero, Kenzie!! She's really gotten so good at figuring out what you need her to do!! She's such a sweet girl, and you can tell she loves her humans and her sheep. 🐺🐑💙 I hope Carissa feels better soon!! I always think of her, whether she's on camera or not. Get well soon, Carissa!! 🥰 Thank you so much for all of your videos, Sandi!! They're always the highlight of my week. Sending love to everyone reading this, from little ol' me, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana!! 💙💙
👍👍❤️ Altair WilsonI agree, what a great video as always. Congratulations to Jessica for her scholarship, and Mark and Sandi for the awesome example of how to live and work, all awhile raising two great kids, Jack is always very interesting too. 💕
Happy American Thanksgiving, that is the Thursday I watched this video. It was a nice day in the Ohio Valley. The Turkey dinner was good. Everyone who came contributed to the dinner. The fellowship was great. Watching Sandi's video just completed the day for me. Yes, I have much to celebrate despite both the Canadian & USA governments insanity. The statements above cover what I would say regarding this video. I really like Clarissa, but feel badly she is sick. Sandi has not fully recovered from harvest. She needs a day (at least one day) of rest. I can see the tiredness in her eyes. But was wise of her to do only 25 sheep hoof trimming per day. Do hope Mark's finger is recovering.
Oh my gosh yes, I died over that show. I thought I wasn't going to like it either, but I love Zoe so I hung on. And oh. My. Gosh. I was literally sobbing!
Maybe Mark can attach a belt and motor that you can use a remote on to make it turn them in the trimmer cage? You too need to be careful and take it easy. Congrats to Jess for the community award. Love her thank you speech.
Congratulations to Jessica and best wishes for a speedy recovery to Carrisa. Get a back support belt, the type weight lifters use. They're not perfect, but help you to keep from overextending as much.
You might see a chiropractor to help adjust your muscle spasms and relieve pain. Regular adjustments have allowed me to work long hours for forty years without meds or surgery. Good luck.
Please do not apologize for explaining what you are doing. I am a loyal fan who has seen ALL of your videos and I have never been bothered by your commentary. You are JOY to watch. I also watch shows like you did. Binge watch and cry with the characters. Carissa feel better soon. Thank you for your videos.
I am so proud of Jess on the scholarship. She works so hard. I will also keep Carissa in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery. My husband is down with the flu and it's bad so I understand the worry you have for Carissa. I love how Tomatoes doesn't miss a beat when eating grain with ice chunks in it. She is an amazingly cute goofball.
I have watched Kensie go from knowing she was supposed to do something and not knowing how to pushing the sheep and then still loving kisses from her. I am not seeing her freak out and driving you nuts, to being a working dog and being proud of what she can do. I don't mind the push gate because I have watched the journey
Awe what a Great momma feeling. Seeing your daughter accomplish something so amazing, and to see how she is blossoming into a woman. Makes us mommas feel so happy
Hope Carissa is on the mend soon. Congratulations to Jessica on the scholarship. Take care of yourself and don't overdo it, okay? As for Kensi, being a self trained boarder collie with no formal training from a professional is doing really good. At five years old she is brilliant and an absolute love to watch. Glad the Golden Girls are doing good outside in their shelter. Take care and stay well.
You are such a lovely, hardworking woman. I cry so easily, too! Ugh! But, a tender heart is so much better than a heart hardened to any feelings. Much love!
Congratulations to jess....it doesn't surprise me one bit. she is an awesome young woman and I have thoroughly enjoyed watching her Iceland UA-cam. Wow, I could never have made a venture like that at her age :) Hopefully, Carissa will be on the mend soon...she's a vital part of the "herd" and I must say that if your UA-cams are not a testament to the strength and character of today's woman, I don't know what is. As always, looking forward to lambing :)
Congratulations to Jessica for the scholarship !! I am sure it is well deserved. So sorry that Carisa is not feeling well...lots going around now....just got over an upper respiratory infection. Have a wonderful week....we are having a warm up ..temps in the 60 + range...hope you get a bit of it too .
Sandi I love watching your videos, it takes me back to my childhood and feeding sheep near my home. Congratulations to Jessica on her award/recognition! A kg is equal to 2.2 lbs, and to convert lbs to kg divide weight in lbs by 2.2. To convert kg to lbs multiply kg by 2.2. I hope this helps you. I hope Karissa is soon back to good health before lambing begins.
Kinsey is working the sheep so well. You can see the joy in her while helping you. 💘 🐑 🐑 🐕 🇨🇦 🇺🇸 Glad Caressa feeling better nut she needs to rest and keep up on vitamins. Congrats to Jess on her accomplishments. ❤ to all.
Carissa is a gem and an overly hard worker. My only advice is to pace yourself so you don't burnout before your 30s. Jess is also so smart and doing great with her research. Congratulations Jess, we're all so proud of you!
I Feel exactly like you watching tv (honestly never watch it bc I’m far too sensitive to certain things). My only binge watched show I actually loved was Call the Midwife. THAT will make you cry every single episode, but it’s soooo good. Hope Carissa is feeling better and congrats to Jessica! .. at the moment I’m binge watching your videos bc I missed a few while visiting my daughter over thanksgiving week.
First of Sandy, please never apologize to us for anything, you are a amazing strong hard working woman! I don’t know how you handle everything you you do! I wish there was a electric sheep turning machine, because I can’t even imagine how heavy those sheep are to turn upside down! Get yourself some new trimmer’s lady, you deserve them! Lol 😂 congratulations to Jes and praying Karissa feels better! Hope you all have a wonderful thanksgiving! ‼️🐏🦃
Just came across your channel. To do all the farm work and UA-cam is an amazing accomplishment. Your what makes this country great and you represent the real people in this world who work hard.
Poor Carissa!! Hope she's feeling better soon. There is a really nasty cold going around!! My sister, niece and nephew were pretty sick for close to a week!!❤🇨🇦❤🇨🇦❤
It sounded like the first sheep getting hooves trimmed growled. Congrats with the scholarship. Every little bit helps. Further education-past high school- is horrible expensive. I will say-I love how you always talk so sweetly to your sheep.
Get well soon Carissa. Congratulations to Jess for being awarded that scholarship. I can't wait to see the new lambs being born. We don't care what you look like Sandi. You are always a light in this world!
Awe, Sandy!! Being an empath is a beautiful thing and NOW I know why I've been drawn so much to watching you! Fellow empath and I bawl like a baby at movies and TV shows, too! It makes you a better shepherd, though. Get better Carrie's! You are vital, missed and loved! Well done, Jess! Keep it up, girl! You're on your way to great things!
Sandi I am a diehard city woman but having discovered your videos I am positively addicted. From one type S driven (ambitious) to another I feel like a sloth when I see how much you accomplish in a day. You are a wonderful role model for young women everywhere, challenging yourself and having enough hubris to laugh at our mistakes (although I call them learning opportunities). Wishing you continued success, good health, joy and randy rams in 2023
Get better soon Carissa! Miss you and know that Sandi relies on you for how hardworking g you are and your support in everything ! Sandi can’t wait for lambs !
I hope Carissa gets better soon! I am very proud of Jess; what an amazing young lady you have raised. And……I wish people would quit saying such negative things about what you do. When they have taken care of as many animals as you, they can critique you. (But they won’t because they will realize how hard it is to do this work!) .You do an amazing job!
I don’t know about anyone else, but I enjoy watching the process of trimming hooves, and really just enjoy seeing the animals. No need to fast forward. Praying for Charissa and the health and well being of everyone there.
AGREED! It's very soothing for me. My life has absolutely nothing to do with farming, however I always end up finding myself watching her videos over and over... I believe that anyone who doesn't want to see it completely can always fast forward the video... She's always so transparent, caring, inspiring, methodic... And her explanations about everything are soooo good! Such a great human being! ❤🇧🇷❤🇧🇷❤
Hope Carissa feels better soon. It’s been a tough season so far for flu and flu like. PS Seeing the golden girls makes me so happy!! I love that you set them up so nicely. ❤
Hi Sandi, I wonder if you have thought of doing a calendar of your sheep and lambs. I would love to have one of the ‘golden girls’ and the lambs and I’m sure others would like it too. Maybe an idea for next year? I hope Carissa gets better soon xx
Love to carissa hope she feels better soon. Congratulations to jess for scholarship. Sandi I'm empath too. People feel sad make me cry too. If someone is happy I'm feel great around them. Angry people make me feel sick. I cant wait until the lambs pop out and see what one will tug at our hearts this season. Love from Florida
I took one look at your weather and shuddered! I was born and have lived all my life in Florida. Even dressed warmly I do not know how long I could stay outside working in the cold. I wanted to say how much I admire your knowledge of the sheep and how to handle all situations that arise.
Temple Grandin (sp?) wrote a book called "Thinking in Pictures" Where she talks about how she has had great comfort from a squeeze machine (a little like yours) and how she has helped many, many hundreds of farmers and animals be more comfortable in all stages of life by being squeezed gently. Quite an amazing story from her! Glad you care for your animals well.
I want those hoof trimmers every time I watch you do it. So amazing! I think it's great that Carissa is such a good worker but sometimes it's better to stay home and keep those germs to yourself 😬
I always enjoy seeing the Golden Girls. It looks as though they are staying away from going out in the snow. It's the first time that they have experienced that cold stuff. They have a snug, protective area to hide from the cold though. What a nice life for them after all those years of service delivering babies at the Brock Farm.
Congratulations Jess!!! Carissa - you rock - hopefully you feel much better soon! Sandi - you're a superstar with all those hooves you've trimmed! WOW!!!! I just love all these videos - makes my day when I get to watch a new one!!!
Keeping y'all in my prayers...it's been a hard health year for everyone. Believe me, I feel the calendar (I'm 77 now, lol) Gotta say tho...I remember when you first got those clippers...what a difference for your poor hands!
Sweet woman, we are all feeling our age. I can still pick up 50 pounds at 61, but have a difficult time picking up a heavy cup. It's a challenge growing older, but we adapt. You are remarkable!!!
Congrats to Jess on the scholarship. Hope Carrisa feels better very soon, n you Sandi need to look after yourself also, none of this works without you. I know lambing is hard work but it's also my favourite time, good luck with everything.
Congrats to Jess way to go ... Hope Carrissia gets feeling better soon.... And ur back those are rough. That is a lot og hooves to trim a year. Keep the faith u rock Sandy.
Sandi, I've been following your farm for a VERY LONG time and we are roughly the same age so I look to ewe for hope with my goat farm! I completely understand about "feeling my age" is harder and harder each year to do some of these chores. You're amazing! For very selfish reasons I beg you not push too hard sweetie because your videos are my favorite of my down time each day. Best of luck sister!
Poor Carisa, 🙏 For her. Cold in Texas but of course NO snow. Y’all stay warm and well. Thanks Sandi for the videos. We all love them. Please keep them coming!
I love my squeeze chute from Lakeland! Their handling systems have made is possible for me to continue keeping up with my sheep even after hitting sixty and becoming fully disabled. I added hydraulics for rotation and pneumatics for squeezing (more sensitive and compressible) to the chute so that everything can be done from a wheelchair. The sheep don’t mind it at all…ish…. The gates are on pneumatic sensors and foot switches. I also turned all new pins and bearings on the roller to make it run smooth. My total investment to upgrade it was about one thousand U$
Hopefully Carrisa gets well soon she is a great part of your show and looks like a great worker and really helps you. Love watching you and your family oh Mark and the kids to.
Just a note, Sandi. Being an empath is a POSITIVE THING. It's an emotional struggle for you but you have a connection to other people that makes you an invaluable ally and supporter.
I totally agree and understand how Sandi is feeling. I, myself, am very empathetic and struggle to keep others energy and moods separate from my own. Having "super feelings" as I call it can be a definite struggle but, as you said, it is also a blessing when it comes to caring for animals and humans.
Oh Carissa, I hope you get better soon! Stay home & stay in bed girl, my granddaughter has had it for a month here in Northern California. Everyone in my town has it including newborns☹️ RSV and Influenza (tested). Sandy, I've been seeing Flock Watch adds on your videos with Cammie & today w/o Cammie in the USA for the APP! Congratulations Jessica on your Scholarship! You are such an awesome girl!💕
Me: peeling sweet potatoes for Thanksgiving tomorrow thinking how fortunate Sandi is to have 2 young adults adulting well and Carissa's stellar work ethic. I am also an empath. It made me a really great EMT, Paramedic and RN. Some days were really difficult.
Only 8 days until lambing!! Jeez where has this yr gone?.!. Well done to Jess..bet you are both sooo proud of her..she and Jack are mirror images of you and mark..!! Great parenting.. yes its great to watch Kinsey with the sheep..she adores her job..even when you don't need her she runs up and down waiting for you to give her the word to come and help mom out..love to watch her..5400 hooves..mu goodness thats back breaking work on its own..the cold weather won't help your back..try a hot water bottle on it when you are sat down relaxing of an evening..it should un-knot those muscles.. I have back spasms and osteoarthritis and sciatica so I understand completely how you feel.. lambing and vlogmass is the BEST time of yr.. the GG'S look so snug in the back of the barn..i bet they're quite toasty with their wooly coats too.. will you be shearing the ewe's before lambing or were they the batch done last time?.. look forward to your next vlog..getting all your lambing kit ready to roll...🇬🇧💞✝️🙏🐏🐑❄⛄⛷🇨🇦
Sandi; Love your videos especially of your Golden Girls, happy they are doing good in their special paddock. Congrats to Jess on her scholarship, and hope Carissa feels much better soon. As for crying at sad movies and stuff, I do that too hugs.
Jess did a beautiful acceptance speech, recognizing the community. Get well wishes to Carissa, she is an amazing young woman. I am glad you took it easy on the hoof trimming, if your back is acting up when the lambs start arriving, you could injure yourself further when pulling. Keep yourself well, Sandi, the flu this year is a nasty one.
Give my Best Wishes to Carrisa hope she's better soon
I agree! And that means “agressive rest”! To bed with you until you are BETTER, or you’ll catch another one of the three viruses going around and get even sicker!

So true. Carissa is a gem...
So true… we Are made diffrent to crasp the whole picture together.. man and women. God bless you all.
Was there a vlog 637 & 638. I can't find them. Can anyone help me? I just love Sandi, Carissa and the animals

Omg!! I cried with “From Scratch” too!! Hit me from left field at the end, but I was too invested to stop watching. 😢

Wow I grew up in Lafourche parish!
12:45... I`m empathic also!!! I have to be careful with what I watch or I`m in tears too. Congratulations to Jess!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m so pleased that Jessica won a scholarship. Very well done to her! You must be very proud of her, such a lovely girl! Xxxxx
Many congratulations on the scholarship. Not only reflecting past achievements, but academic and practical achievements in the future.
Get Well wishes to Carissa, she's always doing a good job and is a very helpful hand on your side. Stefan from Switzerland
I am proud of Charissa! I am also proud of you Sandra for doing what you love. It can be the hardest thing ever. God bless you both!
Congratulations to Jessica and best wishes for a speedy recovery to Carrisa.
Get a back support belt, the type weight lifters use. They're not perfect, but help you to keep from overextending as much.

Please do not apologize for explaining what you are doing. I am a loyal fan who has seen ALL of your videos and I have never been bothered by your commentary. You are JOY to watch. I love your videos especially the lambing ones. Thanks

@@mainridgealpacas1321 Such a great tip!
Crying is as important as laughing, life is an emotional roller-coaster!
Get well soon, Carissa!! We love you!❤❤
I always enjoy seeing the Golden Girls. It looks as though they are staying away from going out in the snow. It's the first time that they have experienced that cold stuff. They have a snug, protective area to hide from the cold though. What a nice life for them after all those years of service delivering babies at the Brock Farm.
Great doggies. Love to watch you lambing.
Carrisa get well soon! 💐🤧
Big congratulations to Jess !! And poor, brave Carissa … sending healing vibes her way ❤
I can watch you all day long. Carissa and Jess are such hard workers, like you. You're feeling your age and years of hard work!!!
Congratulations Jess!! 🎉
Always look forward to your videos. Love watching the lambs, they are so cute, especially the painted lambs.
"I love my squeeze chute" sounds like something my husband would say and he's never been on a farm. 😏
Can we appreciate how much sandie and her family does everyday. Does everything but shearing by her self
Sending get well wishes to Carissa. She is a very caring person to the animals. Everyone needs a Carissa. ❤
Hopefully Carrisa gets well soon she is a great part of your show and looks like a great worker and really helps you.
Love watching you and your family oh Mark and the kids to.
Sending love and hope for Carrisa feel better
That puppy finally realized what a sheep dog was suppose to do other than ear cleaning. LOL
Congratulations to Jessica for her scholarship. Carissa, get some rest and feel better soon.
Sandi, thanks for explaining trimming. Yes, you will always have a newbie, my hand is raised :)
