Two legends. R.I.P to the great Larry King and R.I.P to this version of Howard. This is the Howard that literally ruled the Radio and changed the game.
I read both of Howard's books in the late 90's. There was so much in them that he describes, I really wanted to see them. Thanks to UA-cam, many of these documentations I have finally seen. This reminds me why UA-cam is great
thank you to whoever put this up. i was 6 yo when he did this interview. i was watching dennis the mennis and different strokes. God bless who ever put this up. and the video quality is like perfect
Its so odd. A majority of men that have facial hair look odd when the shave. But when stern had a mustache in the 80s he looked like a s@x offender of boys. But without a mustache he actually looks really cool and handsome.
0:15 - We can't show anything - WHAT HAPPENED TO CABLE, LARRY? WHAT IS THE PROMISE OF CABLE? IT WAS GONNA BE DIFFERENT, IT WAS GONNA BE OUTRAGEOUS. IS THIS THE WORLD'S GREATEST NETWORK OR WHAT? and here we are in 2015 asking the same question, words of wisdom, damn!!
Jacob Vargas HA!! All those pics of the chupacabra are actually me without my hair and make up done. ( Just kidding! Thanks for the compliment though) :-)
+Tom Dotson He had started to cut it shorter before he met Beth, but since then he's changed it from neck-length straighter hair to a much shorter nappy style. He says now that he looked ridiculous with the long permed hairstyle as shown on this clip, but I think it looked much cooler than his current 'do.
stern is as funny as dice in his prime here minus the sexuality and kudos to larry king for standing his ground and at the same time having a sense of humor about the whole thing
It only appears that way when the camera angle goes over their shoulders (like when people fake punch in movies). I think the desk gives them a little more space.
Larry always handled things well. You would think we would be completely out of touch especially in his later years but he was exceptionally comfortable on camera
Open VLC. Go to Media >> Open Network Stream.. Copy and paste the url of this video. Then go to Tools >> Track Synchronization. Then lower Audio Track Synchroniziation to -0.500 s. After a couple of minutes you can adjust it again.
Jesus is not dead. He's in Heaven. Christians, and even Muslims, love Him. You'll be dead and Jesus will still be very much alive...in Heaven. They (we know who) conspired to get Him killed on the cross, but they couldn't kill His soul, and He was resurected by the force of God and resides in Heaven. Some people (we know who) just cannot come to terms with this fact.
Howard Stern is one of those guys who seems to be able to take over a show and turn it into his show. The only other person i have seen able to do that is Mike Wallace. I would have loved to have seen Howard and Mike go at it for control of the interview.
Palmer was a solid pitcher who was lucky to be on some historically great Orioles teams (especially defensively great), which was why his win totals were so high. He had about 2-3 elite seasons, and Palmer, himself, could not hold the jock strap of Seaver, Carlton, or Jenkins, all of his contemporaries whom he gets compared to.
@@mysocalledknife07 10 of Palmer's 19 seasons were elite. 3 Cy Young awards and a no-hitter. Yes the other 3 pitchers you mention are exceptional and Stern would be foolish to criticize them as well. But this was never about those 3 other pitchers. This comment is exclusively about Stern and Palmer.
@Brian the Slot addict Then by your logic the Hall of Fame voters got it wrong when they inducted him on the 1st ballot w/ an astounding 92.6 percent of the vote.
Two legends.
R.I.P to the great Larry King and R.I.P to this version of Howard.
This is the Howard that literally ruled the Radio and changed the game.
I guess people grew up and become wiser in the course of their life, cant say the N word always to make white people happy
Sadly both are dead, only Hollywood Howie remains
I read both of Howard's books in the late 90's. There was so much in them that he describes, I really wanted to see them. Thanks to UA-cam, many of these documentations I have finally seen. This reminds me why UA-cam is great
Yea but thanks to UA-cam there is a much larger portion of material that you haven't seen.
For a split second I forgot Larry had died 😢 . One of a kind. Legend. RIP 💐
They must be 6 inches away from each other's faces. Only in the 80's. Lol love it
When Stern said "You looked so damn good..", Larry giggles and shakes like a 16 year old girl.
I love the rock star years.
thank you to whoever put this up. i was 6 yo when he did this interview. i was watching dennis the mennis and different strokes. God bless who ever put this up. and the video quality is like perfect
Howard was great in REO Speedwagon
LOL
Never see Howard & Kevin Cronin in the same room.
Great voice
Yes bro the best character in part 1
Its so odd. A majority of men that have facial hair look odd when the shave. But when stern had a mustache in the 80s he looked like a s@x offender of boys.
But without a mustache he actually looks really cool and handsome.
Howard runs every interview, no matter where.
"Like you, with the vest. You're so dangerous." LOL
0:15
- We can't show anything
- WHAT HAPPENED TO CABLE, LARRY? WHAT IS THE PROMISE OF CABLE? IT WAS GONNA BE DIFFERENT, IT WAS GONNA BE OUTRAGEOUS. IS THIS THE WORLD'S GREATEST NETWORK OR WHAT?
and here we are in 2015 asking the same question, words of wisdom, damn!!
I'm from the future, we don't watch much TV in 2024 😂
I miss this feisty Stern!!!
Howard's hair is amazing!
the lines from the vhs that crawl up the screen remind me of my childhood
If there was ever a Joey Ramone look-a-like contest, Howard Stern would win 1st prize.
They were friendly and each had huge respect for each other
Damn, that hair is fanfuckingtabulous!!!
+Lady Cheyne (TheKCHEYNE) Agreed!
Jacob Vargas HA!! All those pics of the chupacabra are actually me without my hair and make up done. ( Just kidding! Thanks for the compliment though) :-)
I think Larry is a huge fan of Stern. He giggles like a schoolboy through the whole show.
HOWARD LOOKED LIKED THIS UNTIL he married Beth , and he was so cool too but Beth sucked it out of him ,
+Tom Dotson He had started to cut it shorter before he met Beth, but since then he's changed it from neck-length straighter hair to a much shorter nappy style. He says now that he looked ridiculous with the long permed hairstyle as shown on this clip, but I think it looked much cooler than his current 'do.
So funny when he's shaking the cigarettes in his face..
Howard Stern is the best radio host in the history of radio
6:29 The timing from the graphics department was brilliant on this.
I love how they put "Howard Stern:shock jock" minutes after saying he hates that label
King of All Media!
He keep roasting Larry’s vest 🤣🤣
“ CNN does a better job“
Not anymore, Howard. They’ve truly TRULY jumped the shark 🦈
that hair though
stern is as funny as dice in his prime here minus the sexuality and kudos to larry king for standing his ground and at the same time having a sense of humor about the whole thing
howard is looking at himself in 40 years
Howard about 2010 became Larry king but a jerk ..
And he was so ahead of his time in the mid-80s it wasn't even fair lol
_Yes... It's the 80's_
Howard Stern was quite good looking at this period.
When Howard wasn’t all about the 💰 💴 💰
Howard is a baby here. The good ol days. RIP Larry
Larry's laugh is eerily similar if not EXACTLY the same as CNN's Anderson Cooper. Thumbs up if you agree. :)
I first heard Howard in '88 on K-rock. Young Howard just killed. You know Larry wanted one of those squares.
6:28 They hit em wit the shock jock title again
He looks more like the lead singer of some '80s hairband than a shock jock. Funny man. And the fact Larry King has him on shows Larry gets it.
It only appears that way when the camera angle goes over their shoulders (like when people fake punch in movies). I think the desk gives them a little more space.
Howard looks like one of the road
Crew for Gun's and Roses here
Larry looks like mr burns from the simpsons
he is in don rickles consciousness here
Larry King and Anderson Cooper have the same laugh. heheh
1988 --> 80s metal bands, Bon Jovi, Guns n Roses, etc...
Howard looks incredible.
"Joe piscapo the most under-rated actor"
Now that's some giant 80's hair.
Peak Howard
Larry legitimately had a sense of humor. Who knew?
Larry represented a long tradition of showbiz. He knew he was doing showbiz and he did it well.
Larry always handled things well. You would think we would be completely out of touch especially in his later years but he was exceptionally comfortable on camera
That hair.... I guess It was the 80's thou " just call me angel of the morning"
They are so flirting
Why are they sitting so damn close to each other?
Shalom, my Jewish brothers ✨
Here's stern, smashing Fox over 10 years before everyone else...
This is the brass-balls, no bullshit, sex-deprived and trail-blazing Stern I grew up with.
RIP Larry King - 1933-2021
they are sat so close to each other 😅
@stonebridge999 Did Howard wear a wig his whole career??
what year was this?
1988
When in 1988 did this air?
The audio is out of sync. Can't watch it. Why comment?
Open VLC. Go to Media >> Open Network Stream.. Copy and paste the url of this video. Then go to Tools >> Track Synchronization. Then lower Audio Track Synchroniziation to -0.500 s. After a couple of minutes you can adjust it again.
+MrGameArnt You're a hero.
Can they get any closer when talking
lol...Howard was on fire in this interview...he ain't this funny anymore :(
Howard in his prime
Howard sucks
Wake up, Bath Salts. We're already here.
All his interviews in the past are so weird lol
Haha Howard looks like one of The Ramones.
If u put a wig on Larry it looks like Howards father
Those hair! They were already big ! He looklikes a rocker !
Howard has better hair than jesus.
jesus is dead. Howard reigns supreme.
Looks like someone isn't familiar with Nietzsche's metaphor.
+Courtland Sedlachek Come one now, you really think the average Christian is familiar with Nietzsche?
😂
Larry's laugh was high pitched back then!
TVs were a lot smaller in 1989.
2 Jews on TV
..80's high hair .! 80's hair bands rock
If Howard’s hair wasn’t so curly, it would be halfway down his back..
04/10/2021
@TommyCallanan it says 1988
Howard Stern is one of those guys who seems to be able to take over a show and turn it into his show. The only other person i have seen able to do that is Mike Wallace. I would have loved to have seen Howard and Mike go at it for control of the interview.
And proud.
he did wear a wig even back in 1988 woooow.
Stern's coked up.....Check him grinding his teeth....
these 2 are sitting so close looks like they're going to kiss
That hair
Uncomfortably close!
@djcruzify Hahahaha, the bababooey bit did it.
his hair lol
Why the hell are they so close? They look like they're about to have a make out scene.
@hcvang 60 seconds, actually...
friggin pioneer#
Wig!
The hair only.
What a wig!!!
ah, my apologies dude.
Put this hair on Anthony Jeselnik and don't tell me they don't look alike.
why are they sitting so close together that's too close.
Lol
Lol
How dare he criticize Jim Palmer..........Stern is not even worthy of carrying Palmer's jock strap

@Brian the Slot addict Do some research buddy. Palmer has 67.5 W.A.R. which puts him 36th all time.
@Brian the Slot addict Actually it does. There is no better measuring stick to compare players than WAR.
@Brian the Slot addict Then by your logic the Hall of Fame voters got it wrong when they inducted him on the 1st ballot w/ an astounding 92.6 percent of the vote.
howard has good hair here! lol
Howard makes good point. Cable can use obsenities but instead likes to blast the viewers with high-pitch bleeeeeps. Grow a pair.
poor larry haha u gotta feel kinda sorry for him here
Is it just me or does Howard Stern look like Shia Labeouf in this video?
haha why the fuck did they let him use those coke bottles for glasses?
