The game of life is more important than anything else. As a Dolphins fan, for me to see Jim Kelly to live through the devastating loss of his son and beating cancer is inspirational.
One of the best people I admire, that I've never gotten to meet is Jim Kelly. I am a Chicago Bears fan, but I love Jim Kelly. He has given every part of his heart and soul to blessing the lives of others, in the midst of his agony. Nothing but the best and more for Jim Kelly.
Jim Kelly looks great , still has kept his very youthful appearance. I swear he hasn't aged in 20 years. He was one of the very best QB's of a great class of QB's from back in the day. Looks like he could run a marathon.
Dan is my favorite football player ever and the Bills were and still are the nemesis but damn Jim seems like such a lovable guy , Im not happy he beat us(Dolphins) so many times but im sure happy he beat cancer 👊
The Bills Mafia absolutely loves these two All Time Greats!!! Anytime we weren’t rooting for one of them, we were quietly rooting for the other. Both Jim and Dan are unbelievable talents!!!! Great players and great people! Everyone completely respects their leadership and off the field humility!!!!!!!!! As a Bills fan, Dan Marino is at the pinnacle of class and dignity. Thanks to both for all the great memories!!!!!!!
I am old enough to watch Jim Kelly and Marino battle it out on many Sundays. I’m a lifelong Redskins fan but I enjoyed watching them play. I remember thinking about a fake spike play and Dan pulled it off great.
Man as a kid growing up in buffalo in the early 90’s i remember the bills vs dolphins rivalry like no other. Dan Marino was that guy just absolutely talented and he’s without a doubt the best Quarterback that never won a superbowl. This brings back so many memories. Now they need to play each other in their throwback uniforms this season.
Two of the all time greats. I dont know about any of you other old timers like me but watching Dan Marino throw a football was a thing of beauty. That quick release, pin point accuracy and his overall toughness were unmatched in my opinion. Kelly was a gem too but everytime I see Marino I just think back to watching what I consider the greatest "passing" qb of all time. I didnt say greatest qb of all time but the greatest passer I ever saw. Of course thats all just my opinion.
Imho he was the greatest if Shula could of got him a defense or running it would have been scary. If you would have Brady and Marino trade places I bet Marino would have more Bowl wins.
So nice to see Jim and Dan still best friends after all these years. Good to see a smile on Jims face after all the pain he's endured. I remember when it was a struggle just for him to talk after those surgeries. Time and some healing seem to have helped him. This is the first time where he actually sounds clearer in his speech, and not sounding like a mouthful of marbles from the swelling. You know the both of them, (Kelly and Marino) will have a blast Sunday night battling for bragging rights Monday morning.
It was heartbreaking as a dolphins fan in those days as the bills were so good. We couldn’t get past them. These were the best games. This interview was awesome! Great quarterbacks here!
Yeah same here, I went to many of those games in the old Orange Bowl and Joe Robbie Stadium. I was at the AFC championship game against buffalo when they lost and the Bills went to the Superbowl to play the Cowboys.
Living in South Florida back then I went to many games with my Dad at the old Orange Bowl and Joe Robbie Stadium. Miss you Danny boy wish he could have won at least one championship.
As a Bills fan Kelly was and still is my idol, but Dan Marino was just a special talent and was one of my favorite players ever. Watching this interview had me spaced out for a second reliving my childhood in the early 90’s when these two use to go head to head two times a year and watching them slug it out at rich stadium back in 91 when I was there live.
What’s mind-boggling is that we should be looking at 2-3 Super Bowl rings on the hands of the two guys on that screen. Just doesn’t make sense there’s zero. Any of the alternate universes that they say run parallel to our own, you know the Dan and Jim in those have rings.
It`s amazing how many great Quarterbacks that came out of Pittsburgh. Joe Namath, Jim Kelly, Dan Marino, Joe Montana and more. Must have been something in the water!
I remember the fins vs bills played in a wild card game. It was one of the greatest games I’ve watched. I think it set some record at the time for every possible way to score occurred in the game. (Safety, fumble recovery, punt return etc)
As a bills fan I love Kelly but boy would I love to see what Dan Marino would do to the current NFL he would kill all the records! Love to listen to these guys all day long ! Marino was always prepared and was the best pure passer I’ve ever seen ! Kelly could sling it also
Fantastic to see two great competitors and division rivals have such mutual respect and love for each other! I’m a lifelong 🐬 fan from the seventies and those battles between these two never disappointed, although the Bills won much too often 😖😩🤣
Before Brady, Marino was my top ranked qb of all time. I say that as a Bills fan. With no disrespect to Jimbo. Dan was that good. He just got gate-kept by a better team for close to a decade.
If Elway stayed with the Colts, outside of Todd Blackridge the entire 1983 quarterback class would have played in the AFC East…that is crazy. Glad the Colts traded Elway to Denver 😊
This video says it all. Marino took a flight from home to visit Kelly when he was in the hospital with cancer. ua-cam.com/video/W9j6IgrPKac/v-deo.html&ab_channel=AllSportsWNY
what legends.. dan marino was the best pure passer that ever lived… playing today.. with the pro offensive rules… marino would throw for 7,000 yards and 70 touchdowns a year true story.
People think it was the cocaine that kept the Steelers from drafting Marino. The real reason was Marino went to Central Catholic and the Rooney family went to North Catholic, my Alma mater. If you are from the burgh you know 😂😂😂
God I used to hate Kelly,Thomas,Smith,Reed,Bennent,Talley,Conlan,Loften,Bebe, even Marv Levey but I sure as hell respected those guys. They kept Marino from a few Super Bowls. They really should have won that first Super Bowl.
Jim Kelly being around for this interview is greater than any Super Bowl victory he didn’t get to experience 🙏🔥
The game of life is more important than anything else. As a Dolphins fan, for me to see Jim Kelly to live through the devastating loss of his son and beating cancer is inspirational.
Whether you're a Bills or Dolphins fan, I think we can all enjoy this interview and respect these legends of our respective teams
It is good seeing Jim Kelly…praying for him 🙏🏾
He is one tough SOB
2 absolute legends from the 80’s!

Honestly, Ditto to all you said. They broke my heart back then but it was great and I miss those days and rivalries! Dan was so exciting to watch
Lovable guy? Guess again
Two of the greatest QB’s to never win a Super Bowl

Great to see these two still having fun. Heartwarming.

That was great to see, nobody’s a bigger Marino fan than me but you gotta love Jim Kelly as well with what he’s been through.
That is beautiful. I wish we could all love each other like that.
Great interview Jim and Dan !!!!
Emotional and such a great time to see these guys together.. love the respect.. you dont see this anymore nowadays
Two really great players and people . Dan Marino is still my favorite !!
What an awesome interview!! Love both of those guys!!
2 of the best to ever do it!👏🏼
As a long time bills fan this warms my heart ❤️
Bills fan here. Ah!!! Those were the days👍🏻🏈

Yep, it's feeling eerily similar to the old days now 😂
Living in South Florida back then I went to many games with my Dad at the old Orange Bowl and Joe Robbie Stadium. Miss you Danny boy wish he could have won at least one championship.
I wish he would have as well!
Best pure passer the game has ever seen and one of the most underrated QB's of all time.
As a Bills fan Kelly was and still is my idol, but Dan Marino was just a special talent and was one of my favorite players ever. Nothing but respect for ol' Kelly. Happy to see him in good spirits and seemingly pretty healthy
God Bless Jim

Even as a die-hard NYJ fan, this was a fun and great interview
this was awesome, more of this please
2 of the Best!!!🏉🏉
Jim Kelly is a bad ass tough mf.er no qbs in the league even close these days
Two of my favourite players. Great interview.
Fantastic!!! Thank you dan
Loved one, hated the other back in the day 😂 Nice to see they are good friends, and glad that the old rivalry between the teams is back. Go Bills!
Two of the all time greats! Great to see they are such good buddies!😊
I love both Dan and Jim.
I can't believe it's been 40 years since they were drafted!! I remember those days!! That was some great football!! 😊
Again, DP is a link to the past, that will never be replaced by the modern hot take artists, yapping about their nonsensical opinions.
shocked my internet has the bandwidth to withstand the massive QB talent on my screen right now
Awesome interview!
Great interview!
This was a pleasantly surprising watch 🫶
It`s amazing how many great Quarterbacks that came out of Pittsburgh. Joe Namath, Jim Kelly, Dan Marino, Joe Montana and more. Must have been something in the water!
what a great show love these three
Dan Marino is the best qb with no rings
Facts!
Kelly 4 Straight Super Bowls.
@@geedubb-q1u yeah, you will never see that again!
He’s one of the best QBs with or without rings.
100%
Recently Joe Montana was asked & said that he felt Dan Marino was the best ever
Great stuff here.
To this day my wife would go nuts when Bruce Smith would sack Dan Marino and we would get pissed off and rant on the sidelines
I remember the fins vs bills played in a wild card game. It was one of the greatest games I’ve watched. I think it set some record at the time for every possible way to score occurred in the game. (Safety, fumble recovery, punt return etc)
Drop kick?
2 of the greatest to ever do it.
Why isn't Dan Marino still on CBS? He would be so good for them.
Good question. After he got fired by CBS he never got hired again. Must be something he did or can't do that rubs producers the wrong way.
@@jefflutheran479 If Isotoner gloves didn't drop him, it couldn't have been too egregious.
@@dabneyoffermein595 He had an affair with a producer. That's all it was.
Meanwhile they have the worthless phil simms and useless bill cowher,
@@brando7266 yep, isn't Phil the one who kept farting on set with Jim Nance, and Nance had had enough of it? Google, "Phil Sims farting"

I once played receiver and felt bad for Marino's receivers. Dan would scream at them on the field... I now realize how lucky those receives were
These two QBs had the best shootouts ever!
Two legendary players
Wonderful 😊!

Isnt the nfl 100 sorta like the “separate room” they got a red jacket for that

Who was saying they were better then Dan? He was the best passer out there he was Manning first
I think Jim might be wrong. A year earlier, I think, both played in the Big 33.
Good interview, and I like Dan, but I wished he stopped asking that question about the first-ballot Hall of Fame.

Bills & Fins should've merged so we all got one ring at least... darn, 0-5 Super Bowls!
i heard the other day joe montana said dan marino was greatest qb
Dan get the best guests

I know Kelly is sick but can anyone explain his speech?
Good Lord
Marino best ever
The Bills were so good. Wish they weren’t
