The FBI and ATF surround the compound, but the members resist them for several days. Finally, the standoff is ended and agents get their men.

There are good and bad police officers. I agree that a lot of police officers abuse their position and do terrible things to innocent people as I know from first hand experience that it’s true as I have been badly beaten (sustained broken bones and stitches needed) and sexually assaulted to punish me for crimes I didn’t even commit and which were not serious at all. That said and like I’ve said not all police officers are bad albeit that the bad ones are not held to account more often than not as try finding a good lawyer to represent you and the person they abuse usually can’t get back up to fight for their rights.

@eric evans The murder of Stumpp was completely premeditated, Murder in the first degree. They developed a philosophy of motivation to kill, found a target, surveilled that target, set out to kill that target, and then went through with the act.
The killing of Trooper Bryant could not be said to be premeditated. It was a reaction to a situation Snell did not intentionally create. This is murder in the second degree.
In my own personal opinion, a murder is a murder, wether it's thought out or a spur of the moment choice, but the law in Arkansas is what it is. And carried different statutory requirements to charge.
Stump was intentionally targeted because he was a Jew (even though he wasn't), while the Trooper who stopped Snell happened to be black. I think the fact that Snell very quickly engaged in a shoot out with two white officers shortly after assaulted Trooper Bryant shows that Bryant wasn't shot because he happened to be black, but because he happened to be the law officer that happened to stop Snell. Had any other officer stopped Snell they would have been shot just the same.
You should take solace in the fact Trooper Bryant's memory had his day in court. There are plenty of victims of serial murderers/rapists who's cases are absolutely apparent they are victims of a perp which are not prosecuted for one reason or another. Cost and effort being the most frequent.

Snell's story is deeper and more disturbing than you think. On the morning of the OKC bombing, the day he was scheduled to be executed, he was glued to televised news reports, local or otherwise. His guards claimed he seemed upbeat and relaxed. They thought this was strange, if not perplexing. Before he died, he heard that the Murrah building had been bombed. On hearing the news, he was observed to be 'disturbed', but later interviews from witnesses to the execution claim he seemed 'happy.'
Before his execution, on more than one occasion, he was visited by 'friends' from Elohim City, OK. The residents of Elohim City belonged to and supported the White Power movement. Tim McVeigh was a known visitor, if not resident, to the commune. This community was frequently visited by Keyhole Brothers and their friends and associates.
If you don't know of the Keyhole brothers, do a quick search, and their history of crimes is very similar to Snell's. But there are more to these brothers and at least one of their close family friends that needs further research.
Remember the OKC Bombing Suspect #2? He was immediately sought after the bombing but later dismissed by authorities. Well, he's a dead-ringer for Chevy Keyhole. His whereabouts before, during, and after the bombing have never been quantified. If that wasn't enough, you should know that their childhood friend has an even stranger connection.
His name is Isreal Keyes. A childhood friend of the Keyhole brothers, raised in the same white power movement and trained by the brothers to rob banks when he was a child.
Keyes would later disavow his connections with this movement and cut ties with most of his family. He would serve in the US Army for a short period and marry a multi-ethnic African American/Native American woman, and father a child with her. He would become a valued member of her tribe and start his own construction company.
Keyes wasn't wealthy, so where did he get his start-up capital? He robbed banks and kidnapped, tortured, and sexually assaulted women, possibly men, maybe children, and disposed of their remains after dismembering them.
Keyes was captured and confessed to many crimes. Soon he would kill himself while in custody. He left an impression that he had killed more victims in Canada and Mexico, if not the Caribean.
Sound farfetched? Know this Keyes has an active FBI file that is over 70,000 pages in length. Have you ever heard of any serial killer or any traitor in US history with such a lengthy case file? How do we know this? Well, an FBI insider provided this information to a reporter covering the trial of Keyes. This agent felt the public should be made aware of this suspect and his crimes. When the reporter officially asked for access to Keyes' files, she was only granted seven to eight hundred documents. All redacted. When she requested more documents through the FOIA, she was told Keye's files were restricted on the grounds of Nation Security. He's been dead for years, yet they are still restricted to this day!

Government should never allow a group to excell to such a millitary dominance

Unless they get aircraft they're never gonna achieve military dominance, but then again America has a track record of losing to fanatic insurgents like North Vietnam and Afghanistan. This was back when they had farmboys in the army. I think Americans would surrender quicker these days with Emma and her 2 moms.

@@GameSteph The NVA never could defeat the US forces on the battlefield as admitted by NV leaders. The VC "insurgents" were wiped out in the TET offensive in 1968. The NVA took over all operations after that. The NVA won 2 years after the the US left, and after the 94th congress pull the rug out from under the South Vietnamese. Afghanistan is being lost due to US withdrawal.

The real problem was the CSA lost their source of money, and the 200 acre farm was foreclosed on.
The CSA continued to occupy the farm, because, you know, they are special.
The sheriff was afraid to evict the CSA.
      So the FBI did it.
This was about a failure to pay their mortgage.

The second in command dude who emerged from the compound was a serial killer in a previous episode - The human prey.
