- Hello friends. This is a video from my build of the USAF iconic warbird the F-15C Eagle from Academy. When I first saw it real life, I was blown away from the size and power of this plane. This build was a lot of fun.The modl presents the F-15C no.80-021 of the 114th Fighter Squadron/173 FighterWing Oregon ANG. Hope you like it. Cheers Michal :)

Thank you my friend. Yes, most of the tíme took me to putty and sand this model. Lot of innacurrities. But Im satisfied with the result.

Your welcome friend 🙂. Be careful with filling and sanding. It has a lot of fit innacurrities.

@@RWOModels Italeri kit are very challenging by its fit and soft plastic. Wish you luck with the Intruder build.

Jo stará dobrá Akademka, ta mi neudělaná leží ve skříni. Na začátku 90 let nej model v teto velikosti.Víš co máš na tom modelu nejvíc odfláknuté? Krycí panely motoru a výstupní trysky tam si to chtělo více pohrát
I built this kit and it looks really good. But those decals killed me i really disliked Them. I see you had some troubles too. But your result is amazing.

I'm not sure why but academy decals aren't as good as some of the other brands. I too had trouble with an F-16 kit the decals were just terrible..
How come box showed Alaskan plane but you had Oregon decals? I'm looking for the Oregon model but have only seen the Alaskan one on eBay. Do they come with both sets of decals?
Hi. No they dont. The original Alaskan decals from box where too brithle and fell apart. I had to order new different decals in 1/72 scale from Printscale.
Well done! Are the masking putty reusable?
Hi. Do you mean masking tape or putty? For masking tape, no, its a one way ticket for them. After masking is complete I throw them in the trash. If you mean putty. It Can be diluted olny once. The consistecy will fall apart in the second diluting. After drying out, the putty is simply sanded down.

Academy Models have the worst decals in the whole model scale industry... they are just... lousy.

@@modelsforfun indeed once I bought an F86 Saber 1.48, whch it was a beautiful model indeed but decals were just horrid and they broke like dry autum leaves! They didn' get fix with just water and when they did they broke in matter of days, I was so pissed off because it was not a cheap model and I couldn't get other decals to replace those in my country.
@@halonsox Well thats a pity. An expensive kit and such lousy decals. I also dont trust them. Best solution is to cut a piece of the not needed decals and try them if they are ok. I have very bad experience with Academy decals. Also ICM decals are very bad.
Lovely job! Can I ask where you got the external fuel tanks from please? Finding it hard to obtain some for my build.
Thank you. I have lots of other versions of the Eagle from different manufactures. Some combination of other weapon aditionals come in handy. I do it very often.
