I had a p1 for 4 years and had to sell because of a relationship break up.
I've had bmws jags and mercs.
But nothing compares to p1 the most beautifulist car I've ever owed.ive been saving up to get another one for 3 years.
I used to take it out at 3 in morning just to drive it when the roads were quiet and the cold air...
Im just going to have a cry and pray that one day I can sit in one and drive to the top of Scotland and back again.an absolutely amazing car.

The only P1 I got is a photo framed on the wall :( love to own one. Still got my GC8 though it was a pocket rocket back in the day with a kerb weight of only 1100kg with half tank of fuel. Only had 230hp but being 1100kg it was plenty fun, best bang for buck I did was fit whiteline springs which dropped the car 100mm then installed 24mm sway bars, anti lift kit all the bushings & control arms the lot, fitted 7.5x16" rims 225/40 semi slicks it was like driving on rails. Even the person who setup WRC car's tested mine took it for a spin on the track and said it was spot on no more under steer at all it was totally gone.

The seats look gorgeous and really go with the rest of the car. I sat in V4 seats before and they are one of the most comfortable seats I have ever been in.

I remember one of the previous owners of this car. Raced him up the motorway on the way to Birmingham in my S14A 200sx. He blew past me like I was sat still (I was going very fast!!!) Great times

Jake O'Shea its more like 1300kg as the Retna shell is the heaviest of the lot.

Jake O'Shea it is but you needed to really get the WR version as the standard 4 pots and 294mm front vented discs were pathetic on a uk turbo let alone a P1 and they removed the 2 pot rears and climate control when building them. At the time they were classed as super cars, and limited to an initial 500 which sold out very quickly, 500 more ordered but the sold much slower which is why you see them on plates from W to 51. If you can find a good one then its worth buying but rear arches rot and are not cheap to repair :(
Personally prefer the type R mysekf as cool gray (their spelling) looks great ;)
You certainly have more knowledge on Scoobies than me! Haha, and yeah the new Type R is brilliant! I've had a ride in one and fell in love, but I've only been driving for two years last month so my insurance up here near Liverpool is still sky high, so its standard aspirated engines for the time being for me haha
Jake O'Shea nah the old type R of subaru origin ;) owned a version 5 STI type R in cool gray, not as good as a new age STI Spec C but not bad, you felt the speed in a classic, that wasnt a good thing lol, had 4 over 14 years, great cars but expensive to run and maintain, plus parts were not cheap and newer cars just didnt do it for me, they killed the market with a crap 2.5ltr and greed (International Motors who import them).
This "car" is a Legend.

Wonderful car mate. I knew all 22b were all 2 doors but I also knew there was another 2 door version. Well, at least I think there are only two 2 door versions of the mark 1 Impreza.
I had one highly modified and tuned to 400hp. So light at just 1250KG. Best fun ever, until I almost died when I wiped out the entire right side.
Is there ever a car that's slow enough not to make u act like a window licker everytime u hit the throttle ... good job u feature some cool cars

Subaru impreza TURBO 22B, wrx, sti, type r, the classics, wagons. Most Expensive Cars to Maintain. They will give you nothing but problem after problem. I was brought up with them and owned the subaru impreza turbo cars. Also had friends who had issues with them, brother who had nothing but problem after problem. When they are not playing up they are very pleasing cars to drive. But that is VERY RARE!. Take that from me i had 25 years around them.
