I love this channel. As a former resident of southern California, it brings back memories. I spent a lot of time on the Venice and Santa Monica beaches. Venice boardwalk, Palisades park. Early morning runs on the beach. It makes me sad to see what is happening there. It's such a beautiful area. I hope they turn things around.

I don't know if I would say they are living comfortably in Skid Row. People go to the beach for recreation many live there because they are near the beach. Tourists go to the beach, the Venice boardwalk, and the Santa Monica pier. I think they are trying to prevent the beach from becoming like skid row. Tourism = $

So have fun at the futility, it won't get any better in this trajectory, it will just get worse. ...and what happened to our mental institutions that could house some of these homeless that just will never be a "productive worker"? ...thanks Reagan. ...but it will make the narcissistic and insecure sycophants feel better...

Skid Row was set aside by the City Council during the Great Depression, to centralize the big wave of homeless workers (mostly workers) moving to L.A.
Skid row might be next but the beach is way more important
