The car with a manual transmission is between $45k and $55k where I live with market adjustment. People say to order one directly from Toyota for msrp. That works until the car gets to the dealer and they want $20k extra or you don’t get the keys. Toyota needs to do something about their stealerships. When the market peaked and I could have sold my Wrx for 27.4k basically what I paid for it in 2019 my girlfriend convinced me otherwise even though it had 30k miles on it plus an accident… I should have sold it and bought an 86 like I wanted to… Now the cars worth 20k 😅
Last year I was offered exactly what I paid for my 2021 corolla new, and it had over 30k miles on it. I kept it because I need it, and I'm locked in at 1.9% apy, which is way lower than I get from my savings account now. My corolla is still wish almost as much as I paid for it at 40k miles and nearly 3 years old.
@@Dog_in_tree yeah but your Corolla is reliable whereas a Wrx is a money pit. Just got a Premium 86 with a few light options that did indeed have a ~10% markup, but honestly after shopping around several dealerships in the area that seems to just be the market price. They don't have that many sitting around on the lot.
Tried getting one for a year said fuck it and bought a 2017 mustang GT performance pack with a manual transmission for 31k (only 34k miles)before adding in my trade in and down payment definitely not comparable to a gr86 but still puts a smile on my face
I drove an automatic and was impressed with the handling, but VERY underwhelmed with the pull to redline. And I’m not even expecting it to be fast, just feel a little fast. I’m told the manual is completely different.
Come to San Antonio and visit cavender toyota. We have like 7 inbound and deposits available. We have pre-owned too. Ask for Anthony delarosa when u get there
A lot of people look at cars for there straight line speed and then bash them when they do an 8 second quarter mile from factory. Please try a car with 150 horse power with a manual transmission like the 2023 Subaru Crosstrek and you will be pleasantly surprised how much faster 150 horse power feels like in the corners then in a straight line
I have a 2.0 mk5 and idk i really like the gr86, gr corolla nd the new prius but just as i couldnt afford the 3.0 im sticking with my 2.0 reason i want them i think the others will be heavily supported in the aftermarket scene especially the motor not many ppl are modding the b48 specifically for the supra they do for the bmws but im not sure how that works also everyone is focusing rnd for the b58

No. They just need to change the law where we can order direct from factory...
Just get an ecoboost mustang for $26k that's way more reliable
