Only halfway there. He's still using the AxeFX II as a pre-amp, and utilizes the EVH 5150iii poweramp. All of this is hooked up with a 4x12 cab with v30s in it.
@DrDreamTheater Periphery released a track pack with about 80-some demos of their songs, as well as a demo album before their full-length LP was released. Hence why the song sounds different (they have like 2-3 versions of this song).

The regular tuning is drop G#/Ab... all the strings tuned a half step down from 7 string standard, but the low B is down a step and a half to Ab/G#
