- Today we are checking out a band out of Canada called Freeze The Fall with their song "Daughters of Witches". There hard rock heavy metal sound is chalk full of killer catchy hooks , brilliant melodies backed by awesome lyrics driving bass lines and punch you in the face drums, this band is really off to a great running start! While still being in the infancy of being a band you can already see them sharing the big stage with bands like The Warning, Muse, Voice Of Baceprot as well as all the other bands that have really raised the bar for what a three piece band can pull off and deliver as you can hear in this song! This is another prime example of what we have to look forward to for the future of heavy rock music and as you can see the future of music is shaping up to be pretty awesome! Thanks for checking out Freeze the Fall! They are brand new and already amazing. This is just their 2nd single. Debut single ‘Glitch’ is just as awesome … and just as cold, (they shot 5 videos that day so still more epicness to come!) Debut EP coming very soon. And the best part is they’re just great people.
I used to live up north and would practice with the band I was in a freezing garage I can feel the numbness in my fingers just thinking about it..lol.. I'm really looking forward to checking more out from them that was really impressive stuff without a doubt!!!

& yes, many of us TWA are big FtF fans. Quinn the guitarist picked up the guitar because of Dany and taught herself to play watching The Warning videos (she also did an awesome piano cover of ‘Breathe’)
Freeze The Fall and The Warning would be an awesome show worth seeing!!!

Interesting comparison to Drain. I'd also add Eruca Sativa and Alien Weaponry as similar trios.
Definitely recommend reading the attached lyrics. They highlight how Women are constantly dealt a bad hand, while everyone looks the other way, represented by Jonah with the blindfold.

Drain STH was my favorite all female band for many years until The Warning anyway. Maria is Tony Iommi's wife if I remember correctly they met at Ozzfest when they were opening for Black Sabbath.
I went to one of those Ozzfests, and was looking forward to seeing Drain, but they played first that day and by the time we got in, I missed them. Got to see the original Sabbath lineup, tho.

Mine was '99. Saw Deftones, Slipknot, Fear Factory, Godsmack, Primus, Rob Zombie, Slayer and Black Sabbath. System Of A Down was there, but I have no memory of them. Only show in Canada with Bill Ward.

@@TheKillogicEffect their first original i heard was Last One Standing live at Crown & Thieves and love how Quinn used her voice and the whole composition blew me away. there is an early version of DOW they did live before they changed it for the EP.
