- Today we are checking out another one from the legendary Paco De Lucia with a live performance of the song "Zyryab". This performance comes with so many incredible layers with so many incredible musicians accompanying the late great Paco De Lucia! The amount of talent on stage really shines through in this performance with so many aspects of the Flamenco genre including harmonica, bass keys, vocals, guitars and more being represented brilliantly! This is for sure one of his better known pieces, although not my favorite performance of this particular piece from a purely guitar performance point of view, it's still awesome. Great musicians. There are several other videos of this particular piece if you want to compare on your own. Still a phenomenal performance and he is hands down the best ever on the instrument IMO. Simply amazing! Paco was the best with the Spanish guitar, but he always was surrounded of great musicians too, I love his accompaniment , that harmonica sounds fabulous! Thanks for your react, I loved it!

First time catching you. Great video/reaction! Thanks for your insight and open mind. And thanks for being so respectful of the music while it was playing. I'm mostly a jazz guy, while I love all good music, and Paco is certainly one of my guitar hero. Paco is a flamenco god, and he knew how to incorporate the bass, keyboard, harmonica, and percussion to traditional flamenco. I saw these guys live. Unbelievable! I think you meant Roy Clark from HeeHaw, and yes! another master guitarist! RIP Paco!

I always do that for some reason but at least you knew who I meant...lol..I really think this performance shines a light on all the different things that can be done with this genre! Its such a great example of how layered it can be with an 'off the cuff' sound that you dont get in very much music today. This man never fails to impress thats for sure! He is in fact the greatest player to ever hold the instrument!
