    Did they not say to use a gasket sealer under the baffle like OEM?

    Awesome video as usual bro, good info! How long did it take for turn around time for the powder coat and cost? I wanna do this too, and maybe a few more items, but I never have an idea of how long it will take, thanks man!

      CubanSoldier 20 Thanks man! I put a deposit to get on the list. Then he set me a date, I sent it and had it back on the car in under a week. Pricing depends on colors. Check his instagram link in the description up top and send a message 👍🏼

    Unrelated to the vid content, but are you running rolled rear fenders or are you managing to sneak by with your setup?

    Damn that looks good 🤤🤤 I was gonna order the aluminum valve cover for mine. I just got my evo retuned but the Cobb off the shelf tune made it overboost that’s why I was hitting 30psi I even set it to stage 0 with the Cobb and it was still not right.

    • @xtra_slo1596
      @xtra_slo1596  4 роки тому

      Thanks man! Cobb... I always tell people don’t waste $500 on a Cobb when you really want it to be tuned by a professional instead of generic internet tune. That being said waste of $500 on the Cobb because the stock computer tuned by a professional is arguably a better way to tune it and money saved

    Hey bud. Just wanted to ask if you bought new valve cover bolts or just used your original bolts. Reason is because you mention how you can over tighten the bolts and on my cover two of my bolts can’t be tighten. What do you recommend I do?

    • @xtra_slo1596
      @xtra_slo1596  4 роки тому

      I used the original bolts. They are very fine thread so if two are not tighten they are most likely stripped out. Unfortunately they need to be re tapped and most likely with the smallest next size thread

    Arent you suppose to seal the baffles with a sealant? Like it comes OEM?

    • @xtra_slo1596
      @xtra_slo1596  4 роки тому

      Jesus O The directions don’t call for sealant to be applied. It’s very secure against it with just the bolts with Loctite every 2x2 inches. He’s done 100+ and no issues with catch can flow

      @@xtra_slo1596 Okay good to know! I'm in the process of removing my rivets and resealing everything. Where do you think I can go to get the original rivet spots tapped so I can simply bolt on the baffle versus reriveting the valve cover? Thanks, really enjoy your videos!
