About us:
We're Jack & Megan, and in late 2020 we sold our belongings and packed our lives into our 2005 Toyota Troop Carrier to travel Australia. Our original plan was to complete a full lap of Australia and return home to Perth to resume our 'normal' lives. We decided we wanted to document our lap for the future and began sharing weekly travel vlogs of our life on the road and fell in love vlogging, filmmaking and sharing our lives with you. We completed our first lap and couldn't imagine living any other way so we decided to continue travelling and calling the Troopy home. We have gone on some crazy adventures since then and it is all thanks to you tuning in to join us every week.
Megan's comments continue to make me LOL. "Couldn't you have just broken that with your hand though really..." regarding the use of the electric hand saw. I was thinking the same thing.😁 Grateful for captioning the places you've been at. It's a great help. As most I'd like to visit myself in the future. 👍 Congratulations on your anniversary.❤

Hey happy couple, I really enjoyed your 1st lap and then the cruiser restoration, but now I am loving your 2nd lap your new style of production of videos are amazing and the challengers are great for your stimulation. My parents did 5 laps of Oz and 25 laps of West Oz and based on your restoration had inspired me to do the same to their 80 series LC and 88 Viscount caravan, thankyou.

Congrats guys. One that sticks in my mind is i took a girl i had just met the week before up to barrington tops on a chance it would snow as she had never seen it before. Been with her now for 35yrs. Cant remember an anniversary though.🥶

Definitely the Mouses Houses, Springbrook Qld. They do have different private cottages. We had our honeymoon there & 10 years later we went back to the same one. We are coming up to our 32nd anniversary, not sure what we will do this year but in the height of Covid, we managed to get out & camp for a week for our 30th (with the dog, sorry guys I know you always miss yours) at a lake that is only an hour away. It was the best week of not really doing much at all. My wife loves reading & I just pottered around keeping the fire going, made sure there was hot water (I made a Donkey years ago, it's just the best thing) & though the lake was low, it was still great, lots of little walks checking the place out etc. The week just flew!! The actual date of our anniversary, I did oysters plus lots of other y6ummy stuff! it's defiantly worth celebrating (putting up with each others Crap!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Congrats too you Both!!

Congrats on your 7th. My wife and I celebrated our 50th anniversary somewhere in the Gibson Desert last year. A very happy day, shared with our fellow desert travellers. A specially prepared goat curry and some nice wine made it even more memorable.

Such a good video, even better than normal. Jack if you guys drink black tea save the teabags and dry them and soak them in citronella. Free (almost) fire lighters & keep the mozzies away. Good on you for swimming Jack & especially for surprising Megan on your anniversary

Cant wait to get to the Eyre Peninsula - we have booked an air bnb in Tumby Bay for 3 weeks over christmas so we avoid the crowds in the campsites.
My wife and I kinda have special caravans rather than specific places 🤣. We bought an old 1970’s caravan and renovated it then drove north as far as Bowen in FNQ for our honeymoon, had our first snow adventure in it up Barrington Tops and heaps of other adventures, then have had a few since then.
Ohh I love that! Can only imagine how many memories you would have in them!
I remember when we went to Wave Rock, we were heading over to SA with our only child at the time and then we proceeded to Norseman on a road we wernt familiar with,

Having had lived in Port Pirie in SA for 10 years, we travelled a lot in that time, and Goolwa and the Coorong hold special meaning for me...Travelling inland I love the skytrek track, and don't think you can beat it for that rugged SA outback scenery...

Great episode guys. Chain will blunt quickly if you hit the ground. Easy to buy new chains and or get them sharpened at good mower shops.
Will have to look into getting a sharpening tool or maybe carry a few spare chains I think. 😊

Stop in Narooma in southern NSW. Great seal colony there at the bay. You can also book a snorkel trip with Wazza at Montague Island where you can swim with the seals. My daughter and I did a dove there a few months ago.

I lost my wife and life partner after 48 years last June. Reminds me of our all over the world adventures together as a young couple in the 1970's. I am gearing my truck up (Iveco4x4) with canopy and Bundutec roof top tent at the moment. Then I am on the road.
One question I had my Camps Aust map out of the Eyre Peninsular trying to work out where you travelled. Could you throw in the names of locations in the vids or are you keeping it a secret? Cheers.

The chain is ok but like I said before, the tensioner bit is useless and after a few uses the chain is loose as buggery. might be able to fix it but I haven't bothered.

How often do you guys clean the car from salt water ( to avoid rust )
We try to clean it in every town that has a car wash it’s something we really are cautious about!
