Leo’s voice change was weird, but other than that it was a great re-telling of the original story as well as a great re-introduction to some classic turtles characters.
The whole show was handled very well, the story, characters, relationships, interactions and pacing. The bits where the turtles go full stealth or go full attack mode with white eyes were handled so well
TMNT 2007 is still my favorite movie in the franchise. It was dark, yet still had good jokes. The villains(while a bit one note at times) were interesting, especially in design. Plus the cast was amazing!

You didn't really make any turtle related mistakes in this video, thought I would reccomend you read the original comics, they absolutely rock. They feature the turtles fighting a warmongering alien race of giant humanoid tricerratops, it's fucking awesome.
I never really liked the whole spacewar between the Turtles and Triceratons but I think they really handled it well in 2003 version. I like the down to earth, gritty style villains. Shredder getting bombed in the final battle against the Turtles in comics was hella terrifying reading as a kid.

Considering where comic book movies were in 1990, the original Turtles movie is basically a frigging miracle. It's kind of insane it turned out so well, which is a testament to the filmmakers. They really cared about making an awesome movie. The story, the casting, the costumes, the action-all of it was top notch.
I'm a huge TMNT fan personally and the 1990 movie is one of my favourite movies of all time; It's the perfect blend of the 87 cartoon and the Mirage comics. The Jim Henson suits look amazing even today!

Its so interesting looking at the star studded cast and the rest of the wikipedia page, and then thinking about just how badly it bombed. The only reason I can think for this happening is the fact that it was based on manga, leaving the wider western audience uninterested. This was random, thanks for reading, bye.
I also loved the Astro Boy movie, and I didn't even realize it bombed until I watched this video
It’s too bad it bombed, though. I really wanna see Imagi’s other anime and manga adaptations
I'm just happy to see your appreciation for the original movie
I remember being decently into the Nickelodeon series back in the day, I liked its art style
3:57 that dad does not care what so ever but he doesn't want to sleep on the couch
“Your claustrophobic”
Well I don’t know what you think that means but it clearly means he’s afraid of Santa Claus
_in a spooky voice_
HO-HO-HOOOOOOO~!!
@@mitchfletcher2386 stop it Patrick, your scaring him!
As someone who also barely knows anything about the ninja turtles, I enjoyed hearing your thoughts on them
5:22 speaking of weapons Mikey's chucks was censored in other countries
Especially the UK
Awesome vid as always
There actually was a rap song in TMNT. It was called “Shell Shock” by Gym Class Heroes.
Yo you’ve finally uploaded at the same time as as jazza and fynnpire two other fellow Australians
1:51 I will never forget the part where Raphael said bit**ing
this was perfectly timed considering I'm going through a bit of a TMNT phase
I don’t even remember this but I found it during this years TMNT obesssion haha
Here's my ranking of these movies:
1. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1990
2. TMNT 2007
3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014
4. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Secret of the Ooze 1991
5. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows 2016
6. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Turtles in Time
not bad tbh
I would just flip the 2014 and 2016 Bay movies putting OOTS at #3. 1990 and 2007 do 'dark, realistic' turtles better, and Out of the Shadows goes all-in on the cartoon funny side of things, and does that better than Turtles 2 & 3 did.
This was so good man! If I may ask, where did you get your footage from? You got a link you can send me? Great work regardless man!
Yo! You just got mentioned by Scott Cramer !
I wasn't around when the early movies came out, but I do remember watching them when I was young
