From my childhood to oldhood it's all-time a new and freshly song by Shanker jai kishen and Rafi Saheb it's shows that the Indian music superb in the world and prud to be Indian
D K ji Shammi Kapoor has nothing to do with this song because this is from film “ Gumnaam” in which he did not act. This song was pictured on a famous dancer then( I think it was Mr Harman and Laxmi Chaya)
Superb great 👍 👌 song is celebrating all over the 🌎 world Rafi only Rafi the great 👍 legend But in our country no body is singing or celebrating 😕 because it happens only in india 😢
Perhaps only Bollywood number which became an international hit and is being played even after five decades of its creation by legendary music composer Shankar & Jaikishan.
Kamran: the credit of the music should primarily go to Shankar Jaikishan, then to others, as it is the music which is *more* popular, in comparison to the singing and lyrics!
Naveed Ahmed as much as i love Rafisaab I disagree. Song is popular because of tune like many RD song. There are thousands of other Radfisaab made is hit this is not one of them. Also prejudice WTH ? Comeout of your religious bigotry.
Excellent instrumental rendering of the hit Bollywood song 'jaan pehchaan ho' from the 1965 movie Gumnaam (singer - Mohammed Rafi, music director - Shankar Jaikishan, lyricist - Shailendra.) Kudos to the band!
A global tribute to SJ. I think this is one and the only Bollywood song so popular Internationally. Just amazing how popular this immortal song is even after 53 years of its creation. Perhaps only Bollywood number which became an international hit and is being played even after five decades of its creation by legendary music composer Shankar & Jaikishan.
No Awara Hoon was the first international hit bollywood song released in 1951. Mera Joota Hai Japani was also an international hit released in 1955. Both songs were composed by Shankar-Jaikishan.
Love & respect to all the bands recreating this masterpiece of Shankar Jaikishan. One note, the way Muhammad Rafi sang is inhuman, as in no human alive yet can recreate it.
Fabulously played to the most popular Bollywood hit song 🎶 of the 60’ s created by Shanker Jaikishan Written by Shailendra and Rendered to perfection by one ☝️ & only Mohd Rafisahab.. Dancers 👯♀️ Lakhmi Chaya & Herman excelled
Superlative performance! Cannot believe old Gumnaam song can be played so beautifully on Western instrumental. Artists are real entertainers as well! 👏👏👏
Me encanta esta cancion cuando la descubri en la pelicula mundo fantasma con tora birch y escarlet johanson . La version original es genial! Esta no queda atras!🙂
❤ GOOD MORNING 🙏 ENSMB JAAN PEHEECHan HO@HONHI Very nicely executed the musical instruments REALLY ENJOYED YOUR MUsic All are well trained musicians hat of two all of them SUPERB 👌 SUPERB 👌 Excellent 👌❤
i did not see gumnaam first time it was released ... i saw it on rerealese ... in india sometimes next new movie release is not scheduled causing a gap week ... in one of those gap week gumnaam was put up on paradise cinema in kolkata ... when usher seated me movie had begun and jan pehchan song was half way through ... of music composer duo shankar-jaikisan jaikishan died first but shankar decided to retain his name in future films he composed ... there is a story that jaikishan had permanently booked a table at gaylord restaurant where anyone can go and have a meal or meet him if he is there ... many actors directors choregraphers singers music arrangers / assistants have had fond memories of meeting up great music composer or shankar ... many heated debates must have occurred over a cup of coffee with pastries to go with it or a sumptuous meal or drink all paid for by jaiskishan ... great musical or movie ideas (or plagiaries) must have born there ... an era has passed with passing of many such bollywood greats
If Jai Kishan didn't succumb to heavy drinking and untimely death just imagine, theSJ duo would have ruled even during the1970s.However Shankar was not brilliant as Jaikishan. After Jai's departure Shanker could not compete with the new and upcoming music directors and the name ShankerJaikishan became a thing of the past. But still we enjoy some Beautiful melodies by this legendary duo. Aaye bahaar ban ke lubaa kar chale gaye, kya raaz tha ke dil me chupa jar chale gaye.
WORLD RECORD OF SHANKAR JAIKISAN!!!!!!!
From my childhood to oldhood it's all-time a new and freshly song by Shanker jai kishen and Rafi Saheb it's shows that the Indian music superb in the world and prud to be Indian
Just amazing how popular this immortal song is even after 53 years of its creation. Hats off to Rafi San,Shailendra ji and SJ(Shankar-Jaikishan)
every one who created this song will remain immortal
You are forgetting the main and most important person of this song Shammi kapoor the great one and only
D K ji Shammi Kapoor has nothing to do with this song because this is from film “ Gumnaam” in which he did not act. This song was pictured on a famous dancer then( I think it was Mr Harman and Laxmi Chaya)
@@dk1321 no Shammi. This was pictarised on Laxmi Chaya from movie gumnam
Herman Benjamin the choreographer of this song danced in the song as well.
Rafi Sahab must be smiling from heaven.
SJ and Rafi Saab combination is unbeatable which will never die.

Another one is Jimmy Jimmy Aaja.. HUGELY popular in erstwhile USSR
@S Kamran No doubt, no one else can sing this song except for Rafi Sahab.
@@sirnawaz Definitely credit goes to SJ but without Rafi this may not have become this popular. His singing is on another level.
Naveed Ahmed as much as i love Rafisaab I disagree. Song is popular because of tune like many RD song. There are thousands of other Radfisaab made is hit this is not one of them. Also prejudice WTH ? Comeout of your religious bigotry.
