In this video we compare the sound of a stock 2020 718 Cayman GT4 to the same car with our Lightweight Competition Exhaust System and Over Axle GPF Delete Pipes. This is a complete cat-back system that will fit the 2020+ 718 GT4, Spyder, and GTS. Basically any Cayman or Boxster that gets the 4.0l motor. Hear the car rev, drive-by under hard acceleration, and also hear what it sounds like outside and inside the car under normal driving and hard acceleration. We also compare with PSE on and off. Our Lightweight Competition exhaust doesn't have valves so it only has one mode, loud :).

Fabspeed sounds divine! ☺️👌
First! Sounds awesome!
Gosh dang this was what I was waiting for from you guys! Sounds absolutely incredible! Better then the 981 GT4.
Did the deletion of the opf set off any CEL codes or was it seamless bolt up?
On US spec cars the GPF/OPF is inert and uncensored, so no check engine light :)
@@FabspeedMotorsport do you know if the Porsche GT4s in Canada also have an inert GPF/OPF?
@@MrCleveK Canadian 718 GT4's GPF's are not monitored! So yes they are inert.
@@FabspeedMotorsport Thank you so much for confirming this !
When comparing the sound of the stock exhaust it seemed that you didn't hit the gas to the same rev to compare and many of the before/after tests do the same. It would be great if you can give a stronger gas peddle to the stock exhaust. Anyway thank you for the test and I can clearly hear the difference.
Just so I have this straight, the PSE and valve operations and the *only* change is the over axle pipes delete in the GPF - correct? It is hard to tell in the video, but would you say there is notable difference in sound with the valves closed?
The GT4 in this video has our GPF Delete Over axle pipes, it also has our Lighweight Competition Exhaust, which removes the factory rear PSE (valved) muffler. So this configuration has no valves at all. With the factory muffler, there is a large difference between valves open and closed.
Thank you, I’m getting confused between the various videos.
So my buddy crashed he GT4 and is donating me only the left side of the GPF delete (right is destroyed). I already have the light weight exhaust. You recommend if still sound good if I just add the left side GFP delete lmao?
That is a question that one of our performance experts can answer. Give us a call or email us at Sales@Fabspeed.com
So is this available in the uk , I am looking to order one and I am wondering wether it can be installed on euro spec cars
Our Lightweight Competition Exhaust or our Valvetronic X-Pipe will bolt right up to any Euro spec car and will NOT trigger a check engine light since they are after all emissions equipment.

Fabspeed Motorsport thank you very much , if I decided to delete the particulate filter would this cause an issue with engine light
@@S7860R Right now we cannot say for sure if it would cause a CEL, however, we're assuming that removing the GPF filters will cause a CEL.
Do you have a valved option? One that can open/close with the push of the button on the center control?
Yes we do! Our Valvetronic X-Pipe which you can see here: ua-cam.com/video/BLCTSZbWLjc/v-deo.html
@@FabspeedMotorsport Is the sound the same as the Competition exhaust when the Valvetronic one is open?
@@flashburn2012 It is similar but not the same
Does this nullify the warranty?
No it doesn't, however, we always encourage customers to have a conversation with their dealer before installing aftermarket parts on a car under warranty.
Does this trigger the computer?
Does the cars pc know it’s been fixed? 😉
Not on US spec cars! Euro cars have a sensor that will trigger a check engine light.
Sounds great, but something about the new system actually takes away a little of that classic Porsche flat-6 sound. Also, the tips seem to stick out too far. Honest feedback, not trying to be a hater.
We appreciate your constructive criticism :)
@@FabspeedMotorsport Cool, just trying to help you refine your offerings! Have you thought about offering a sport/club system that stays a single pipe, no more 1-2-1. It would definitely change the sound, would be lighter, and should be cheaper too.
Think I prefer the stock
