- When entering the world of ATV's I was clueless. I started out with a Can-Am Outlander XT but quickly realised it was not the machine for me. Although the XMR 's are great for water, they just don't have the same reliable reputation that Honda is known for.
So after dumping the Ham and picking up this like new condition Honda Rubicon, all that was left was to snorkel it. As a noob in the four wheeler world I was nervous to tackle the job myself, but the more videos I watched, the more I knew that I could not only do it, but make the best how-to snorkel video in the process.
With the help of 22Fabcreations and their one of a kind "Going Deep" kit, I show you how to properly waterproof, and snorkel your Honda ATV. I wish your video was around when I did my 2016 a few years ago it would have saved me alot of time. One thing I did different over everyone else was I had a short and tall snorkel that I could change by screwing them on and off

If you ever do anything like that again put dawn dish detergent on your fingers to smooth that adhesive out. Nothing will stick to your fingers then. I build bridges for a living and it comes in handy bro.
I spray windex on it for pulling clean lines
I also build bridges at veritas steel

Agree 100% on not siliconing the airbox lid. I siliconed my airbox lid on and then wanted to check my air filter months later but could not get the lid off. After trying and giving up about three times I finally was able to pry it off.

I have a highlifter snorkel kit on the same four wheeler but i only have 3 vent lines ran up, am i doing something wrong?

The fuel fitting going into the frame is a check valve.
Just to save someone some aggravation, if you get this kit get yourself a 1 1/2 inch coupling to come out of the air box with instead of packing silicone around the provided pipe that doesn’t fit. The coupling fits in the stock boot perfectly.
Im having this problem right now. So just a piece of 1 1/2 inch coupling fits on the stock boot perfectly?

the crankcase breather mod has to be higher than the airbox or else it won't work.
Will this work for a Honda fourtrax
Might wanna use a old sock cover it oil the sock to catch any small leafs or and keep dust out of main fliter or put one of them small dirt bike fliters dust will kill your motor and get caked in your pipe as well

What foot snorkel is that?
I was thinking. Why not do a air box relocate. Like the radiator. Find a box. Maybe a large ammo box. Make a mount for the air filter. Run a hose down threw fender and along motor. The empty void that was the air box loop the intake hose twice before fitting it to engine. And then run a snorkel from new air box location on front wrack. Would be a lot less to worry about sealing wise and with enough time spent into it can make it look less jacked up.
Don’t get me wrong tho. I’m virtually sold on the 22fab set up. Prob the 12inch key tho. LoL

My man started dielectric greasing the plug connectors hahah. Omg, gotta just put it around the rubber in the plug doood. This how electrical problems arise
If you think that will last more than one water ride you are mistaken😂. This is how electrical problems are prevented, dielectric grease is non conductive.
Doesn’t that help catch water ??? Isn’t there a way to just add them to the stock parts ?? I always thought that the oem intake manifold helps catch water or keeps it from completely getting to the engine to a point .. obviously you can always get water in them but I always figured they would guarantee you no water to a certain point I always thought that was like one of their sales pitches .??? Am I wrong ..

hands down the way with that snorkel to go i got the high lifter snorkel and it was missing Pieces i do not recommend the high lifter snorkel kit

Yo so I don’t really know shit about this kinda stuff but is the shorten explanation just extending the air intake? Is that what they are doing making the air intake and connecting a tube and making it longer or what? Cause like I’m so confused not planning on doin any of this but where the fuck is the air intake in that thing

I run my Honda headlight deep with no snorkel.
LOL turning a none snorkel in a full on snorkel it’s gonna definitely lost it power.. why didn’t you and the extra mile and got a can am XMR unit? No need to worried about water leaking in or anything if not BRP will fit it..

I guess I don’t understand being a newer ATV owner. But to me, people that want snorkels on their ATV’s aren’t sure if they should’ve just bought a boat instead. Lol.
Sometimes riding my atv i need my boat and sometimes while fishing i need my atv. Honestly though, some trails you never know how deep any hole is so it’s better to have and not need than to need and not have.

Never really understood why would you want to turn your beautiful quad bike into a boat and submerge it into water/mud/other shit above the engine level. This thing will rust like hell within a few years…

Why waste your money on this kit? I’ve had my rancher up to the seat and kept going crossing a river. Done it many times. It’s all original 2006 rancher 350
