Know why don't you just use your common sense and realize all 27 New testament books, nine unanimous authors claim Jesus has a god, there's no Trinity and Jesus is the son of man suffering servant in Isaiah 53. Isaiah 53 solidifies that God shares spoils for the suffering servant. @Fresh Prince I've studied and asked God for confirmation. They teach correct doctrine. Jesus instructed his apostles to baptise, wait on the promise(holy spirit), live a holy life. John the baptist prepared the way in preaching repentance and prophesying of the infilling of the holy spirit. The mainstream church teaches contrary to Jesus instructions. I assume you're trinitarian.

Paul was writing a letter to the church of Ephesus these are called epistles and everyone had already been saved through repentance and baptized in the water and spirit. We need to keep in mind that these two men attended colleges that taught only their beliefs...so they are truly narrow minded since they only have one view. That doesn't mean that they are truly knowledgeable in all accuracy. I pray for these men and who they lead!
Yes, they are narrow minded within the Biblical, Apostolic framework that was instituted by Jesus & his Apostles. Historical Christianity (starting with the Roman Catholic Church) completely changed the doctrines & practices of the New Testament church, & the original saints were commanded to “contend for the faith that was ONCE delivered to the saints). The only church ever established by Jesus & his disciples (who became the Apostles), was founded in the Book of Acts, & those Biblical truths & doctrines were further expounded on in the letters to the churches, (written mostly by Paul), but also by a few others. His has a doctorates Degree. He attended, Rice University, Texas College and University of South Africa. He is very versed in the Trinitarian view which is clearly seen in his writings and debates. Well educated and kind man who wants to spread the truth.
Dr Bernard (the only one I know and can speak on) did not attend Apostolic colleges, but instead attended both secular and Trinitarian schools. They are not “narrowly minded” as you state. But these are men, full of the Holy Ghost, with years and years of study and understanding of the scripture

I can't seem to find anything before the 20th century. It seems Pentecostalism came out of the Methodist movement around 1906. Very informative - I would just say that, in Catholic Tradition, the fullness of the Holy Spirit is received at confirmation, where the person is anointed with holy (blessed) oil in the laying on of hands by the Bishop, rather than at baptism as stated in this video. This is for those baptized that have been taught the faith and present themselves to be confirmed in the faith. They then receive the fullness of the gifts of the Holy Spirit through the sacrament of confirmation.

In ephesians 4.5 says one lord, one faith. ONE BAPTISM..the apostle Paul who was not sent to baptise. Here talks about baptism being spiritual. Like in corinthians we are all baptised by one spirit.

It would say that Jesus was standing to the right of God, not literally on His subjective hand. 2. It would say “Father” not God. Under this view, you either have to say that Jesus is not God (as your view of the godhead in this verse would have to do) or, you would have to admit that this is poetic to show that Jesus was in the power of God. Side note, God is invisible. He is omnipresent. How was Jesus seen at God’s right hand, therein?

No the Bible is the authority for what we need to do. They don't believe in one God because they're pentecostal they believe it because that's what the Bible teaches Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 9:6, (John 1:1, 1:14), 10:30, 12:45, 14:6-7, 14:9, (14:16, 14:18), 20:28, Colossians 1:15-16, 2:9, Acts 20:28, 2nd Corinthians 5:19, Ephesians 4:5-6, 1st Timothy 3:16. They don't baptise in Jesus name because they are pentecostal they do it because thats how they did it in the Bible and that's what the Bible teaches. Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38, 4:12, 8:12, 8:16, 10:47-48, 19:2-5, 22:16. And they believe that we must be filled with Holy Ghost and the evidence of that is the Spirit of God gives you utterance. The Son is not the Father in the flesh. You have to do a lot of scripture twisting to come to that conclusion. Listen to Jesus' words in John 16:28 "I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.” The phrase "to the Father" in Greek is pros ton Patera and is the exact language in John 1:1 where is says Logos pros ton Theon or the Word was with God. Jesus is God by virtue of having the same substance as the Father, they are indivisiblely one but they are distinct in person. The new testament is replete with this kind of language and oneness theology cannot be reconciled with scripture.
Is being Spirit Filled (Born Again) the same as being baptized or Spirit Filled. If your not Spirit Filled you can not receive the baptism or the gift of the Holy Ghost (Spirit) at conversation. (Romans 10:9 & 13 -- 1 John 1:9)

@D Bk I appreciate your reply. I was raised in the Mennonite church which is trinitarian. Once I wntered the UPCI in my 20s the oneness made sense to me too....until I fully looked into the trinitarian beliefs and realuzed the oneness doctrine does not teach trinitarian doctrine properly. Oneness teaches that trinitarian is polytheistic while it is monotheistic. Thus 3 in 1. If you look through scripture starting in Genesis even, you'll see more evidence of a 3 in 1 godhead than oneness. In Genesis even God refers to himself in plural thus multiple persons. Jesus refers to "my father" multiple times. Even Paul refers to the father separate from Jesus. Is Jesus God? Yes. Is the father God? Yes. Is the Holy Spirit God? Yes. In marriage, isnt it 2 persons but one flesh? Yes. Perhaps marriage is a good example to show the 3 persons in 1

@D Bk I've listened to that one too. My friend, you will be in my prayers. A word of encouragement for you, if you have faith and have proclaimed it you are saved! It's true that we do sin, even those of us in Christ. In James it says we all stumble in many ways. Paul called himself the chief of sinners but he still knew he was saved. The Bible says that for those of us in Christ he remembers our sin NO MORE! He has cast them as far as the east is from the west. Take comfort. You are saved! I would recommend a very good pastor that you can look up on youtube, Andrew Farley. He is not Apostolic but he is very knowledgable (more than most I know) on what the Bible says about grace and that would be great news for you. Not true and why would you lie to people that you have to be water baptized to be saved. In the “one” scripture you build all your doctrine also says you will be baptized in the Holy Spirit. But in ACTS 8 they were born-again, believed as the Apostle Paul wrote in Roman’s. 10:9-10, and water baptized for that remission of their sin believing on Jesus. But they were not baptized in the Holy Spirit until days later when Peter and John came to lay hands on them. Same as the thief on the cross was saved by believing. On and on it goes, how those who follow do not read their bibles is beside me. Jesus said born of water and spirit He explains in following scriptures, obviously born in the flesh as a woman’s water breaks, or you would not have a reason to be born again of the Spirit. People make the word more complicated through pre-suppositions proving their manmade doctrines. One last thing, Cornelius house was born-again by believing the word Peter preached or they COULD not have received the Holy Spirit, compare to Acts 8 and 19. They believed and then the Holy Spirit “fell upon” them and were baptized with the Holy Spirit and spoke in Tongues. It was later they were water baptized…to suggest they would have went to hell if they had died prior moment to water baptism not biblical or sane biblical doctrine. Peter the next day explain it was them believing Jesus by hearing them speak in Tongues, not water baptism. And Peter never built a doctrine that speaking in Tongues saved them but because they were baptized with the same Spirit, because they first had believed the same Jesus. Peter wrote in his epistle that believing on the word of God is what saves you. Jesus is that living Word. Let us get our doctrine sane please!

Anybody who says that water baptism doesn't also save is a liar. Scripture is clear. Paul went so far as to curse them. @@wjdyr6261 that is silly, Paul met those who needed salvation in Jesus as opposed to just water baptism by John in Acts 19. So I think when Paul wrote letters to the Church for this purpose of doctrine he did not lie how a person was saved!

Paul was sent 1 time, not to baptize because a heresy or dispute was being created over the person doing the baptizing as though one is superior to another. Peter commanded water baptism in the name of Jesus. That is part of the foundation of salvation. It begins in Acts and not Romans

Yes, they are narrow minded within the Biblical, Apostolic framework that was instituted by Jesus & his Apostles. Historical Christianity (starting with the Roman Catholic Church) completely changed the doctrines & practices of the New Testament church, & the original saints were commanded to “contend for the faith that was ONCE delivered to the saints). The only church ever established by Jesus & his disciples (who became the Apostles), was founded in the Book of Acts, & those Biblical truths & doctrines were further expounded on in the letters to the churches, (written mostly by Paul), but also by a few others. Good question. It's very prevalent in the book of Acts. Also David Bernard wrote a series of books on church history from that time.

Very informative - I would just say that, in Catholic Tradition, the fullness of the Holy Spirit is received at confirmation, where the person is anointed with holy (blessed) oil in the laying on of hands by the Bishop, rather than at baptism as stated in this video. This is for those baptized that have been taught the faith and present themselves to be confirmed in the faith. They then receive the fullness of the gifts of the Holy Spirit through the sacrament of confirmation.

The Son is not the Father in the flesh. You have to do a lot of scripture twisting to come to that conclusion. Listen to Jesus' words in John 16:28 "I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.” The phrase "to the Father" in Greek is pros ton Patera and is the exact language in John 1:1 where is says Logos pros ton Theon or the Word was with God. Jesus is God by virtue of having the same substance as the Father, they are indivisiblely one but they are distinct in person. The new testament is replete with this kind of language and oneness theology cannot be reconciled with scripture.

Once I wntered the UPCI in my 20s the oneness made sense to me too....until I fully looked into the trinitarian beliefs and realuzed the oneness doctrine does not teach trinitarian doctrine properly. Oneness teaches that trinitarian is polytheistic while it is monotheistic. Thus 3 in 1. If you look through scripture starting in Genesis even, you'll see more evidence of a 3 in 1 godhead than oneness. In Genesis even God refers to himself in plural thus multiple persons. Jesus refers to "my father" multiple times. Even Paul refers to the father separate from Jesus. Is Jesus God? Yes. Is the father God? Yes. Is the Holy Spirit God? Yes. In marriage, isnt it 2 persons but one flesh? Yes. Perhaps marriage is a good example to show the 3 persons in 1

It's true that we do sin, even those of us in Christ. In James it says we all stumble in many ways. Paul called himself the chief of sinners but he still knew he was saved. The Bible says that for those of us in Christ he remembers our sin NO MORE! He has cast them as far as the east is from the west. Take comfort. You are saved! He is not Apostolic but he is very knowledgable (more than most I know) on what the Bible says about grace and that would be great news for you. Not true and why would you lie to people that you have to be water baptized to be saved. In the “one” scripture you build all your doctrine also says you will be baptized in the Holy Spirit. But in ACTS 8 they were born-again, believed as the Apostle Paul wrote in Roman’s. 10:9-10, and water baptized for that remission of their sin believing on Jesus. But they were not baptized in the Holy Spirit until days later when Peter and John came to lay hands on them. Same as the thief on the cross was saved by believing. On and on it goes, how those who follow do not read their bibles is beside me. Jesus said born of water and spirit He explains in following scriptures, obviously born in the flesh as a woman’s water breaks, or you would not have a reason to be born again of the Spirit. People make the word more complicated through pre-suppositions proving their manmade doctrines. One last thing, Cornelius house was born-again by believing the word Peter preached or they COULD not have received the Holy Spirit, compare to Acts 8 and 19. They believed and then the Holy Spirit “fell upon” them and were baptized with the Holy Spirit and spoke in Tongues. It was later they were water baptized…to suggest they would have went to hell if they had died prior moment to water baptism not biblical or sane biblical doctrine. Peter the next day explain it was them believing Jesus by hearing them speak in Tongues, not water baptism. And Peter never built a doctrine that speaking in Tongues saved them but because they were baptized with the same Spirit, because they first had believed the same Jesus. Peter wrote in his epistle that believing on the word of God is what saves you. Jesus is that living Word. Let us get our doctrine sane please!

@@wjdyr6261 that is silly, Paul met those who needed salvation in Jesus as opposed to just water baptism by John in Acts 19. So I think when Paul wrote letters to the Church for this purpose of doctrine he did not lie how a person was saved!
@waynejarvis370 I never said he did. Paul would still baptize in water invoking the name of Jesus. Paul was sent 1 time, not to baptize because a heresy or dispute was being created over the person doing the baptizing as though one is superior to another.
Peter commanded water baptism in the name of Jesus. That is part of the foundation of salvation. It begins in Acts and not Romans
