Doctors of any sort with the human body has my respect they have to deal with alot from people and nurses n other staff but perform in good timing and make sure the patient is vety comfortable and asleep when doing there job its good doctors and bad but ones that are good i totally respect years in school doing surgeries wow its just amazing what they do

What they are not telling you is how complex the foot and ankle is ! But sometimes a simple procedure is best, I went to 10 different podiatrists, 15 different foot and ankle orthopedic surgeons, the best of all these Drs was the late Gerard Yu sadly he passed away, in my book he was the best, no other Dr came close ! I believe the most difficult Dr to be is a foot and ankle Dr due to the complexity of the foot. Lastly each foot is structured differently some have low arches, others high arches still others have a neutral arch.
