I hope your tips will help me, as I have carried out an audio only recording in mp4 but I can only hear the first 3min. of it, after which, it is complete silence, although the file keeps unfolding/ running/being played for a total of some 120 minutes.
But first and foremost, I would like to tell you that I find your Northern England accent sooo lovely, it moves something in my heart!
Where exactly does that accent come from?
Is it from Cumbria? If so, from where in Cumbria? Coniston? Or anyway, from the Lake District?
Anyway, I really love it, and I am so fond of people with that accent and the kind of personality that goes with it!

I have a slightly niche issue; I have 1000s of MP4s; some are corrupt and some aren't but I cannot tell which is which! I'm the business of diagnosing, not treating. I don't want to pay for a repair tool as that's not what I'm looking for. I'm not wanting to click on every file and seeing if an error message comes up, or watching the whole video to see if there are gaps/glitches as that'd take ages! Any tips? Thanks

I have Windows 10 Pro and there is no way I can change the file extension in the way that you did!! I go to to display the extension. I right click on the problem file, but there is no option to change the extension in the drop-down list. So I'm at a loss to explain this.

Did this actually work for anyone? For me, the stupid progress bar bounces around randomly and then stops. Nothing changes. No prompt, no status, no progress, no message, no nothing! And what is the purpose of rebooting? Looks like this is nothing more than an ad for Wondershare Repairit.
