These dudes are just straight up awesome. Saw them opening for Megadeth and they legit came into the crowd after their set to mosh with us to Megadeth. They're just huge fans of heavy metal like the rest of us, and that's a really cool thing to see

When I saw them at Bonnaroo, I'm pretty sure they were all a bit drunk, stumbling around on stage and Jens hyping up the crowd a few times like it was 1999. The other four times at regular shows, very robotic indeed.

O8 - 09 was like peek era Meshuggah as far as stage presence. Now they have the huge light show which is cool too but I miss the energy. But keep in mind they're getting old now and can't continually perform like they used to as far as the guitarists headbanging and what not.

Grew up in the 80s with Megadeth Metallica Anthrax Slayer and co yet nothing sounds quite as intense and unique as Meshuggah and their brand of organised chaos

My personal unforgettable Meshuggah moment was after a gig when I got to talk to the band; I mentioned the first gig I'd seen them at, and the "newer" band members started discussing whether or not they'd even been in the band or not back then...
At another gig I also managed to get my very first Meshuggah record (Psykisk Testbild) autographed. I'm still missing the autograph from the original drummer though.

Another is them opening for Tool during the 2002 Lateralus tour. Tomas even went on stage during Tool's set to play percussion/drums during the song Triad. It's on UA-cam. And also Maynard thanking Tool during their epic 2002 end of tour, also on here, on UA-cam.

If I am not mistaken that Indian show is the Great Indian Rock fest that happened in 2010 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. Meshuggah played on day 2, with Enslaved on day 1 - it was as awesome as you'd expect.

Clearly remember going to a Tool concert in Toronto supporting Lateralus in late Sept 2001 and walking up to the ACC and hearing the walls crumbling from low end chuggery. I get inside as fast as I can and witnessed Meshuggah absolutely fucking kill it. Tool was amazing, but Meshuggah was there to prove something and it stuck...still a huge fan and I think they've just gotten better over the years.
