I am pausing the video at the off-white silk skirt moment to comment because I am a mom to a toddler. She is almost 1.5 years old and every piece that I’m thinking about adding to my wardrobe, I have to think of that element-like is this piece of clothing toddler-friendly?And it is just kind of like a mind blowing thing for me because these kids really infiltrate basically every part of your life. So yeah, I just had to come and say that b/c I really relate to this, and I’ve been thinking about clothes that make me feel good, but are also functional for who I am as a mother.
Yep!! NO ONE prepares you for every single little change that happens when you become a mom. It is a JOURNEY trying to figure out, & become accustomed to, every altered aspect of our new lives. Down to the clothes that we wear and our style in general. At least when they’re little 😫 Good thing that my style has always been relatively casual/comfy but now yes, like you said, it also has to be functional. At least the majority of the time.
These are great tips to be a conscious consumer! I notice that when I incorporate these tips, I no longer change my wardrobe often due to things breaking or losing interest, I get pretty solid clothes that I actually wear. I no longer get spending regret. I have yet to try color analysis! Great video as usual ❤
Mom of two…currently baking #3. You can fix your rib flare/ or reduce it. You would need to find a PT that specializes in woman’s, pelvic floor health, and postpartum recovery. 😊 Hope that helps!
What an incredible and valuable video! Gave it a thumbs up AND added it to my watch later playlist as well, so I can come back to refer to it! I found your channel recently and I'm so in love! My body is very similar to yours and I relate so much to the ribs expanding part:/ so many of my favourite high waisted pants dont fit me after I had my son, who is 18 months now💓 I'm loving your content!!
Loved this video! Could you share the results of your color analysis? I suspect I am a soft autumn and find myself buying things sage and olive green. I noticed green looks amazing on you
In another video you said you go for wider legged bottoms because of the thigh/inseat measurements. I have the same issue and just fail to find jeans everytime. Which brands do you recommend? (EU citizen)
Love Citizens of Humanity, I know they’re superrrrr expensive but believe me when I say I have tried SO MANY different jeans and nothing compares. But Abercrombie, madewell & Levi’s have good options too. Any brands that offer a curvy option is great also because those usually have larger thigh measurements. I still love Nakd but like I said, not the best quality so it just depends on how much you wear your jeans. I’ll do a video soon once I have a couple of different options. After having a baby, I basically have to start a new jean collection so I’m building it little by little. 🤍
And if you mean wide leg pants in general, not just jeans then I love: Leset, oak & fort, cotton on, NAKD, the Frankie shop, KOTN, dissh & thrift store men’s section. Other stores I’ve seen nice wide-leg bottoms but haven’t bought yet: Madewell, Everlane & Donni

Hi, Do you think the Nakd jeans run true to size? Thanks!
Yes they do 🤍🤍 if you follow their size chart you should be fine 🤍
You seem so unhappy. Please take care of yourself.
Not unhappy, just TIRED 😭 motherhood is no joke. But I’m trying to balance everything. Thank you for checking in though. I appreciate it. 🥹
