Uriah Leese He said it was playing 163. There was a 20 yard elevation drop. The actual yardage versus what it is playing is two different things. It helps with club selection. I'm telling you this in case you are new to golf and are confused about it. Awesome view though, right?
Hi guys, Jazz from the UK here. Loving the course clogs, great music and great golf 🏌. I'm well and truly addicted to your channel now so keep them coming. Thank You 😊
Shot 76 today which was my first round ever in the 70's, your short game of both of you inspires me when I hit the green because in all of your videos you guys just pull off amazing up and downs and I think it's because u have fun when your around the green, your not thinking as much your just betting on who gets closer, which is the fun and best way to do it
Been living vicariously through you boys for years. My first time in Monterey this weekend and I played Pebble, Spyglass, Spanish, Bayonet, etc. Marko said it best man "I can tell you already, I Love Spyglass"... Amen. Love the channel, may you keep flourishing.
Hey, guys. I wrote on here a few weeks ago and you'll both probably thought I was a troll. However, you both are creating the best golf videos on UA-cam. Golf Channel should take these videos and run with it. This is entertaining and chill at the same time.
I just found your channel yesterday and I simply cant stop watching! The athmosphere of this channel is on point. I like it for a change aswell that there is a golf channel on youtube were there isnt only +5 handicappers. Keep up the amazing work boys!! 🙏🏻
You guys are KILLING me on a slow work day making me wait for part 2 and 3 lol. I've watched about 7-8 vlogs this morning and Golfholics is the new UA-cam 1 seed for sure. Keep it up fellas!
Another great video and it's great that you guys are playing the courses I've always wanted to play. Been there along the 17 mile drive but was unable to play so it's great to see the courses. Look really tough too. Keep up to the great videos. And get more of Finch and Shiels on the channel.
Really like your blogs ,have to agree with you I was at pebble last July I didn't play coarse as I thought $500 was to much ,you have both got good swings, marko been watching your putting try and keep your head down a little longer after impact, cheers Eugene from Ireland
Just wanted to say I'm a big fan of all your work and videos. It's very impressive the quality and amazing shots you get. Keep it up! Love all the amazing content
Vlog lookin beautiful as always. Loved hearing the ocean sounds and it'd be real hard trying to focus on golf in that beautiful setting. Maybe that's why it's so tough there lol. Or maybe it's just the narrow fairways and the world's tiniest greens. Great job getting two birdies through 6. Looking fwd to the rest!
just got done working out at home and had a choice of watching the T.V. but I decided to watch you video, very entertaining keep the videos coming great job.
Yes I worked hear and it was my first job on a course and it's so beautiful and yes number 4 is one of the most difficult green on any golf course and there's only like 3 pin placement you can set the cup truly amazing very beautiful
Aall In Limo & Party Bus My UA-cam account is setup to alert my cellphone the moment GOLFHOLICS posts a new video. About six hours ago from my slumber, I had a dream I was playing Cypress Point and realized it was from your video. It was awesome... I was there with you Mike.
Thank god you huys decide to do the you tube channel. I cant ever get enough. MARKO, nice birdies bro. My money is on you for low man this round. MIKE, Ive never seen you yank a tee shot like that, but i have faith the 2nd half will be better. GOOD LUCK GUYS!!
y'all are killing it with these videos! They just keep getting better and better. golfholics will be at 50k subscribers before you know it. Get down to Austin, TX for some golf ASAP
Really awesome video! I first learned about Spyglass from the 96 PGA Tour computer video game. My family got the game (it was included as a bundle of CD-ROMs) when we bought our first home PC. I knew nothing about golf but ended up playing the game loads and then started golfing a bit in junior high and high school. Anyway, I played the game so much that I totally remember the layout of these holes. It's really fun to see them played as they actually are!
Love the channel, and the addition of the shot tracer. Your drone footage is incredible. It really allows you to appreciate the beauty of the course. Nice job, guys.
Thanks for taking us all along. Especially since I know I'll never be able to play those courses, it's fun to see you guys play them. Feels like I was there with ya!
I've never seen a channel on UA-cam where I keep playing videos over and over like your channel. They never get old. Waiting for the new video is the hard part. Great videos. Like another comment I saw you guys do make it feel like we're part of the group playing with you guys. Great work. Keep it up!
Hey guys loving the vlogs, course looks awesome and Marko didn't let what the starter said about the 4th faze him😁 can't wait to see the next one. Keep up the good work.
Great camera quality, great music, great editing, love the hole description in the top right corner, great camaraderie between the guys. 10/10 channel. Subbed
You guys have the best course vlogs in the business imho. Just enough commentary to explain situations, without ever bordering on incessantly annoying. Do you drone each hole? What might be interesting for people closely following how you guys play the course, would be to use that footage before beginning the hole, instead of all at once in the intro. Sort of give a overview. Anyway keep up the good work, will be watching for sure.
Gorgeous views! Great birdies, Marko! I definitely sense a happier vibe compared to the last course. I still hope PB reaches out to you guys. btw, I do miss the slo-mo. I so wanted to see Marko's blast out of the waste area in slo-mo. Thx for adding shot tracer, though, it steps up your vlogs even more!
Slow mos will be making a comeback in future videos. I definitely didn't do us any favors by missing it to the far left with it being cart path only. I'm really excited to test these cameras out in sunny conditions at 180fps. When its a little dark out they don't come out as crisp because the slow mo shots require more light to get the same exposure.
Lucky enough to play here, pebble, and Spanish each year. I will say there is something special about pebble, but I look forward equally as much to spyglass. It’s really a great, tough course.
Thanks Geoff. When I hit that iron shot aiming at the green I was literally thinking "if this doesn't come out perfect I'm going to make a double or triple on camera so STAY DOWN ON IT". Haha.
Hey Marko, I noticed when you chip, you let your wrist release which causes the leading edge to lift and you are not far from completely blading it. I would recommend that you keep the arm and shaft in unison as you release to prevent any shots skidding across the green.
I played there with my brother-in-law last Christmas, he's not my favorite person to play golf with, but I had a great time, I don't make the kind of money to be playing on a course like that very often, but damn was it worth it. And I agree, it's better than Pebble if you ask me. I pulled out my scorecard to see what I shot on the 4th hole. Had a bogey. Had a 93 overall. It's a lot of fun watching you guys play while I'm working.
Spyglass is my absolutely most favorite course I have ever played. 1 is a reachable par 5 if you can bend it a bit around the corner and it runs down that hill on the right side so the tree doeswn't block your approach. I love that big tiered green. I birdied 4 from center fairway. That green is as hard of a shot as it gets, I was lucky and cleared the ice plant and bounced onto the green at the smallest width... pure luck. From 5 on in it was in the trees with some shots having to clear over a tree. I made a miracle putt on 18 to a pin on the left rear, from front right. That putt broke at least 20-30 feet up over a tier and back down. Ended up shooting a 78.
Never played but looks similar to Poppy Hills which is around the corner. I drove there which was about 90 minute drive played 18 then drove back. Poppy Hills only cost $45 to NCGA members. Lot's of good courses in the bay area I miss it =/

Come on dude, this vid is unreal and he put so much time into it and thats what u notice?? Uriah Leese #golfholics 🤙
Uriah Leese He said it was playing 163. There was a 20 yard elevation drop. The actual yardage versus what it is playing is two different things. It helps with club selection. I'm telling you this in case you are new to golf and are confused about it. Awesome view though, right?
Uriah's Birdie to Triple bogey ratio is 1:18 on par 3's of this distance. Of course he notices it.
Miss these guys so much. Golden era of golf UA-cam

Just discovered your blog and became a subscriber immediately! Great job.
Another epic video. Marco, you are swinging much smoother today. You were pretty quick at Pebble. Really enjoy watching these!
Great part 1, Marko is killing it.
Amazing course! Wow !! I dream of playing amazing courses like this!
These 17 Mile Drive series are unreal, want to do this trip myself!
You guys have the best course vlogs in the business imho. Just enough commentary to explain situations, without ever bordering on incessantly annoying. Do you drone each hole? I love you guys so much. The Drone footage is really nice!
Love the 4K footage. I have played Spyglass four times. Incredible track.
I love when courses are extremely amazing but still humble. They don't have a huge imposing pro shop like pebble beach. Makes it seem less stuck up.
winvegas02 totally agree!
Love Glass, even more than Pebble. Lookin' forward to Pt 2!
Up and down out of the fescue is Marko's specialty. We've all seen it before!
it was unreal 👌Shawn Howarth!// Mike #golfholics 🤙
played there a month ago - great course. best greens of all the PB courses.
Yes it our fav of the courses at PB
Great video. Can't wait for part 2!
Lucky enough to play here, pebble, and Spanish each year. I will say there is something special about pebble, but I look forward equally as much to spyglass. It’s really a great, tough course.
Birdie on the toughest hole in the country - BOOM! Awesome up and down Marko.
Thanks Geoff. When I hit that iron shot aiming at the green I was literally thinking "if this doesn't come out perfect I'm going to make a double or triple on camera so STAY DOWN ON IT". Haha.
Incredible cinematography
I have to be honest guys...it does my heart good when one of you hit a chip that rolls back off the green, lol. Makes me feel part of the club! Ha!
Beautiful golf course, thanks for showing it and great vlogs.
Ha I'm a caddie here and that story by Justin was classic stuff. Great video
Awesome vlogs guys! Keep up the great work.
Spyglass as got be on every one's bucket list, great vlog once again guys..

Great piece Marko. Love Spyglass!! Will definitely pay to play that course again!! Pebble get ranked last on this trip. JC

It's a lot of fun watching you guys play while I'm working.
You guys should play sand piper in santa barbara...very tough
Seems like a much better course than Pebble in its current condition, and you guys seem to be enjoying the round much more too which is great
the editing is actually so amazing, like honestly really really good job
Thanks Daniel!
Marko was looking good through 6. Well played.
I know I could just fast forward and stuff, but I'm still sitting here crossing my fingers hoping you guys play well.
GREAT STUFF THANKS FOR SHARING!

Great blog guys......love it
I love watching for the little mistakes on the scoreboard in the top right corner! Swear I find one every episode
Spyglass seems more impressive than Pebble IMO. Markos ballin' now after that double on the par 3. Great up and downs.
Awesome vids guys this channel is gonna get huge! Keep it up
