Mr. Short Game is always skating the fine line between youtube content and onlyfans content with his clubhouse reviews. I half expected you to be eating grapes during the bath review lmao
One of the best experiences in my life. I played pebble twice and spyglass while I was there. Absolutely amazing. Pictures and talking about the place does no justice. You truly have to see it for yourself.
So cool to see you supporting Joni and Friends. She is an amazing woman and her ministry does some great work. Thanks for the vids, you do a great job! So enjoyable to watch.
So cool that you're promoting Joni and Friends, Matt. She is such an inspiring lady. We just played The Hay, Del Monte, and Spanish Bay a few weeks ago so your video brought back great memories of an amazing trip. Monterey is breathtaking! Have a Blessed Easter
Dang, I do envy you for that opportunity, but at the same time, you more than deserve it. And I greatly appreciate your non-presumptious attitude. Awesome content.
I go to college in Ohio, but I was born and raised in the Monterey Peninsula. So this video was absolutely awesome being a little homesick. Great vid!!
Thanks for taking us along! You must have been torn carrying the camera and getting it set up for each shot with all that beauty around you to take in. Must have always felt rushed when you want the experience to be the opposite.. nice and slowwwww. Lol
This is the best golf channel on UA-cam. A lot of these courses you play are wayyy out of my budget, so to experience them through your vlogs is such a delight. Thank you so much!
Pebble and Spanish Bay are on my bucket list. If I’m lucky I’ll be able to play these courses for around two bills. Best part of this video, watching you tuck the napkin under your shirt, a classic😂
This is fantastic Matt. This is on my bucket list like thousands of other golfers. I am not sure if I will complete this one unless I can find a millionaire friend. Great up and close of an American icon course. Big thumbs up. 👍 👍👍👍
I was there two weeks ago. What a special piece of property that is! Spyglass kicked my butt, but played to my 12 handicap at Pebble and Spanish Bay. The bagpiper at STICKS with a cigar and a glass of Glenlivet was a nice night cap
Great video as always. I must say it was nice to see you take drops, in the rough, and hitting out of the sand. Sometimes us REGULAR GOLFERS get so caught up in trying to be as good as you tubers or even pros. That we forget how to just enjoy the game. Next time I'm on the course I will remember this. Thank you..
@@MrShortGame hahaha. I know how that goes. Now matter how good I'm hitting that day the second the BLUE STUFF is in sight. Anything that can go wrong. Does go wrong lol. If you read this I would love to see more videos of every shot during play and I'm sure many else will. Be well my friend.
Hole 1 and 18 are so intimidating. I played there several times. The people watching you hit are crazy. On hole 18 two buses full of people pulled up and everyone was snapping pictures. Love Pebble and Spanish Bay
Such a beautiful and amazing place! I played there back in September and had the best golf experience of my life and to top it off I aced #5 on The Hay and got the special coin. Love all your videos!
My claim to fame is the par 5 sixth hit a killer drive and backed it up with a great 3 metal to within 30 yards of the green chipped in for eagle. Played the links at Spanish bay it eat me alive👏🏻⛳️⛳️
Thank you so much for taking us on the trips with you and giving us all the details....for some of us who don't get to travel much due to work and family....videos like these are really nice to watch...feels like we're on the trip with ya! You are tops in the Golf video space on youtube!! A really genuinely nice person who is relatable to all and great sense of humor..LOL We'll support your sponsors too to help you out! Safe travels and keep the content coming! - Greg
Had the good fortune to play Spanish Bay, Spyglass, and Pebble Beach last week. Videos do not do these courses justice - it is an incredible experience. Definitely not cheap, but I do not regret spending the money one bit.
So cool is all I can say. I play it on the simulator. Nice to see it in real. When I retire I told 3 of my good friends we are going there, and it wont be long.
Wow...Great Video! Brings back some great memories and shows me what the course looks like on a clear day....our trip in early March 06 was wet, very wet. Started to rain on the third hole, finally stopped on 15. When the sun broke free the views were spectacular! My bud passed away in 2010...thanks again for the video.
Stayed there 4 years ago. Stayed at Spanish bay 10 days. Played 10 rounds in area. Spanish bay has a pool and locker room with steam room free to people staying there.
I fish where those seals where chilling you might find me down there too It's always nice to catch a fish in front of the golfer's they enjoy it as well Pebble Beach has alot to take in so beautiful
I went there for the ProAm in February! It was amazing. Could never afford to play there but def got to see it first hand! Great video Matt! Love ya man!
I'm having a midlife golf grip crisis and your videos are helping me out. I'm going back and watching all of them. I'm trying to go stronger to work out my power fade
Lived in the bay area growing up. I've been to pebble few times but never played it cause you had to stay there and was expensive at the time. I've been a few PGA tournament at pebble and stopped by on the way back from a trip for lunch. Played poppy hills a few times cause it was 1-2hr drive and only $45 for NCGA members.
Love the vids man , I had an interest In Golf last year and you have made me full on love it , now I understand the game better and can’t wait to play a full season
I wish I could I can’t get a swing off in my house , very tall with short ceilings but I have a net that I can always practice with , it sometimes requires a shovel tho
Wanted to go a few years ago, but living in the UK, I couldn't justify the grand to gaurantee the tee time. No doubt a lot more now. Beautiful place to play no doubt.
I love the Inn at Spanish Bay, maybe more than the lodge at Pebble Beach. Spyglass is a very difficult course with the slope and how the course changes almost from hole to hole.
I have played there and many other courses around the Monterey peninsula and the ONE thing I strongly suggest; Pick your tee times WISELY, if you can! The Fog in EARLY mornings can EASILY RUIN a lot of fun, sometimes it takes a long time to lift or move out. You WILL have a REALLY hard time seeing your ball flight and MOST times, the pro shop WILL NOT change or push back times-- that is a FACT! They get so many tee times and staying on schedule is so important --to THEM, no matter WHAT you pay-- $450- $500+! No, there will NOT get a discount for DENSE fog! One thing of note in his fun experience; he his having GREAT WEATHER, Not that you won't get a lot of good weather and can play year round, BUT, if you notice NONE of the flags are MOVING and of course that mean very low to no wind on the ocean side of Pebble holes! That extreme no wind is very unusual and makes for a great day! Look at #6 hole- 15:42 - this is on a small peninsula and that wind comes right at it-- look at the FLAG -- not moving, that is nice! He had great weather and this makes for a lot of fun!
The Pebble Beach experience isn't cheap, but if you are an avid, die-hard golf fan, this is THE one trip worth saving for. I went for the first time about 5 years ago with a group of 12 guys. A memory we all will cherish for the rest of our lives. Spyglass and Spanish Bay are also spectacular courses. Also, take a day to visit the Sur coast, amazing place for photographs. The restaurants are top notch too.
Me and my 2 buddies had the privilege of playing pebble beach last year when Monterey county opened the course back up to the public. When we got up top at the range it was hilarious because the attendant outside watched us drive up and watched us all get out of the same car and yelled at us to be 6ft from each other lmao. Later on the course I got scolded for giving my friend a high five for making birdie. I understand they had to follow Monterey county’s rules but common sense obviously didn’t exist last year. I’d still golf there again in a heart beat.
The funniest thing was I thought the round of golf was and stay was expensive at Pebble Beach, but then I saw the AMEX bill from my wife shopping while we played ! Then came the deliveries a week later! The one thing that rings true playing PBGL, it is 4 hours of views and maybe 30 mins' worth of golf.
Guests are not required to stay at the resort for any course. I played as a non resort guest at Links at Spanish Bay. Tee time can be made up to 6 months in advance without resort stay. Same for Spyglass except 3 months. Only 1 day advance tee without stay for Pebble Beach so almost impossible to get tee time without resort stay.
Mr. Short Game is always skating the fine line between youtube content and onlyfans content with his clubhouse reviews. I half expected you to be eating grapes during the bath review lmao
Sounds like you’re hoping for an OF 😂
@Eddie i mean ill try anything that helps me find the fairway. 🤷♂️
One of the best experiences in my life. I played pebble twice and spyglass while I was there. Absolutely amazing. Pictures and talking about the place does no justice. You truly have to see it for yourself.
Hope to get there at some point
The way you pick everything so cleanly from the fairways is pretty impressive
So cool to see you supporting Joni and Friends. She is an amazing woman and her ministry does some great work. Thanks for the vids, you do a great job! So enjoyable to watch.

you deserve 10x more views and likes for this quality content you consistently provide . love this channel, keep up the great work
The slope of the greens looks diabolical. Love the videos!
I go to college in Ohio, but I was born and raised in the Monterey Peninsula. So this video was absolutely awesome being a little homesick. Great vid!!
Your best course tour yet, Mr. Short Game! You're an inspiration.

2:26 ... Hahahaha! That's hysterical! I'm not a big tub guy but if I were that's how I would do it!
Was there in 2006.....bucket list golf trip...Hands down worth every penny!!!
Living the dream! Looks awesome.
This is the best golf channel on UA-cam. A lot of these courses you play are wayyy out of my budget, so to experience them through your vlogs is such a delight. Thank you so much!
I’m glad we had the same thought when you saw the pebble beach golf pouch for 110. Put it down and leave! Great video!
Pebble and Spanish Bay are on my bucket list. If I’m lucky I’ll be able to play these courses for around two bills. Best part of this video, watching you tuck the napkin under your shirt, a classic😂
It looked likes Mrs. Short Game in that bubble bath! 😂😂 what a great trip, dream trip for any golfer!!
Joni & Friends is a great organization.
This is fantastic Matt. This is on my bucket list like thousands of other golfers. I am not sure if I will complete this one unless I can find a millionaire friend. Great up and close of an American icon course. Big thumbs up. 👍 👍👍👍
I've watched a lot of Pebble Beach UA-cam videos, this one was spectacular. Well done Mr. SG. 👏 👏
I was there two weeks ago. What a special piece of property that is! Spyglass kicked my butt, but played to my 12 handicap at Pebble and Spanish Bay. The bagpiper at STICKS with a cigar and a glass of Glenlivet was a nice night cap
I love it! Great video and shakedown of the room. Gotta give it the full shakedown for sure! Thank you
Outstanding coverage! Beautiful shots. Looks like you didn’t play terrible considering the toughness of the course
Great video as always. I must say it was nice to see you take drops, in the rough, and hitting out of the sand. I was in more sand than I realized. Guess I was aiming away from the blue stuff too much
@@MrShortGame hahaha. I know how that goes. Now matter how good I'm hitting that day the second the BLUE STUFF is in sight. Anything that can go wrong. Does go wrong lol. If you read this I would love to see more videos of every shot during play and I'm sure many else will. Be well my friend.
Sick Course man!! I know that the Stella sponsorship will be coming soon 😆😆

Love Pebble and Spanish Bay
Wow several times? Incredible. Perhaps I will play there once one day...

Awesome seeing it up close and personal 💪⛳️
Thanks for all the videos you seem like a good dude and I’m glad you get to do this. There’s many paths in life you got on a good one.
Such a beautiful and amazing place! I played there back in September and had the best golf experience of my life and to top it off I aced #5 on The Hay and got the special coin. Love all your videos!
Awesome video..you were blessed to have some very nice weather..These courses are golfers "Shangrila"...Maybe some day ill get to play them.
My claim to fame is the par 5 sixth hit a killer drive and backed it up with a great 3 metal to within 30 yards of the green chipped in for eagle. Played the links at Spanish bay it eat me alive👏🏻⛳️⛳️
Another amazing golf courses review. Only seen pebble once it was the 2019 us open. Can’t wait to play one.

Your best video yet! I played both PB and Spyglass 30 years ago. Still remember everything about the experience.
Had the good fortune to play Spanish Bay, Spyglass, and Pebble Beach last week. Videos do not do these courses justice - it is an incredible experience. Definitely not cheap, but I do not regret spending the money one bit.
Amazing to see you, a fantastic golfer, miss putts by feet, miss greens, miss fairways, etc. and shoot 78? We mere mortals would be over 100
really liked the edit and format of this video.
So cool is all I can say. I play it on the simulator. Nice to see it in real.
When I retire I told 3 of my good friends we are going there, and it wont be long.
I was steamed up from pebble beach virtually !!!!
Mr. SG... Great review again! Very entertaining and witty as always. Keep it up. Thanks for the look into Pebble Beach too!
Wow...Great Video! Brings back some great memories and shows me what the course looks like on a clear day....our trip in early March 06 was wet, very wet. hey I work at the inn at Spanish Bay Enginering ,I am glad the you like the room ,I follow you you have a great channel
love when he smells the body wash lol. epic mr. short game stuff
Man you got to play both courses with almost no wind. Lucky lucky lucky to catch it at the perfect time
Welcome back to the neighborhood Matt!
definitely loved the style and editing that went into this :) very entertaining

What an experience. We're all jealous! You live a good life MSG. Enjoyed the video.
Wow what a video Matt, love the shot by shot on the course. Keep up the good work..
Great as always Matt! Can't wait to play there! Hopefully this year. Watching gave me tingles with anticipation! Thank you!

Golf is like crack. Get a sim and you can play year round. Us folks in cold climates just can’t quit cold turkey when the snow begins to fall.
I wish I could I can’t get a swing off in my house , very tall with short ceilings but I have a net that I can always practice with , it sometimes requires a shovel tho
Matt, I love your videos so much. Thanks so much for this! I can only dream of playing here!
Awesome experience, thanks for taking us through this journey, really enjoyed it :)
Best job ever. Love the videos.
A very enjoyable experience! Thanks
Wanted to go a few years ago, but living in the UK, I couldn't justify the grand to gaurantee the tee time. No doubt a lot more now. Beautiful place to play no doubt.
76 at Pebble? That's excellent. Well done
I got on as a single a few years ago. Guys in my group kept saying 'Thats good pick it up' on all my 2-3 footers. I didnt pay $450 to pick it up lol
This should have been a 3-4 video series, great standalone video though
I love the Inn at Spanish Bay, maybe more than the lodge at Pebble Beach. Spyglass is a very difficult course with the slope and how the course changes almost from hole to hole.
Just a great video. Definitely a bucket list course living in ohio. Would love to make it out there
I drove by it on 2006, that's about as close I got.(: Lucky guys playing this awesome course.

Careful with that minibar, in Vegas there are pressure sensors and if you don't put the booze back in time you get charged haha.
How were the poa greens? Beautiful!!
I like that vest. I’ll snag when when I go to pebble
That was probably the item that caught my eye the most as well. It's snazzy. I wonder how much the price tag on that...
weather looks nice...and what time of year was this? trying to figure out the best time of year to play PB.
A great video! Definitely one of my bucket list courses. Do you have any plans to do any overseas courses?
I think you enjoy the amenities more than golf itself 😂
Love the vids man! Question: how far out did you have to book this trip? We were told they are booked thru 2023!!
yes but did you have a chance to check out salinas fairways?
I could go for some ocean rt now
Guests are not required to stay at the resort for any course. I played as a non resort guest at Links at Spanish Bay. Tee time can be made up to 6 months in advance without resort stay. Same for Spyglass except 3 months. Only 1 day advance tee without stay for Pebble Beach so almost impossible to get tee time without resort stay.
There’s a weird shadow while you were putting on those slippers… close to some OF content there Mister.
Do you think the divider in the Sunday bag should be top bottom rather than left-right? Probably the one reason I haven’t purchased one.
I love the way it is now
Have you seen that Rick is planning to make a UA-camr Golf tournament? Would be nice to see you there 😀
Was really digging the music in the video anybody know what it is?
Picking up all those items out of the mini fridge probably cost you more than greens fees 🤣🤣
Well, what did you shoot?
