honestly i agree a lot that uzi's emo-esque image doesn't match up with their music most of the time and i really wish they included more alternative influence in their music
First off I love the video and respect every opinion of yours, but I have a real hot take. This is probably my 2nd favourite Uzi album and I absolutely love it. Only gripe for me is truly having no skits throughout or much of an alien theme. Wish the theme song was on the actual track list itself. Hopefully you get a new Uzi album you'll love within the next few years!
@@theunmaskedtroll1925 always wonderful to hear someone enjoy something that I didn’t find the same joy in, super happy to hear this is one you liked and even though I have my criticisms of the record, hoping that future releases might help me see the vision here a bit more!
The album is very good I think everyone needs to give it another listen. I think he knew that this would happen he said he didn’t want everyone to be on board immediately it takes time
I’m a huge Uzi fan and this album is a terrible sequel to eternal atake but I still enjoy majority of the songs. Also Theres speculation Uzi used this as a way of getting out of the record deal they’ve been in for a couple years so I’m def interested in what Uzi plans on doing next. Great video btw !!
Aside from "Eternal Atake", what other rap/hip hop or albulms in general did you like that has been released thus far in 2024. Also, I enjoy the effort you put into all of your videos.
@@WITHOUTAdoubt-h1j thank you for the compliment! And I’ve loved a lot of albums this year, all three of the Future projects, CHROMAKOPIA, Almighty So 2 by Chief Keef, I Lay Down My Life For You by JPEGMAFIA, and the new Sexyy Redd and Glorilla albums are some highlights for me
Honestly I can respect your opinion on the Uzi album honestly I like some songs off Eternal Atake 2 (2nd half) as a longtime Uzi supporter honestly he’s just his own artist like he’s got a very unique alternative style with his music he his catalog is super diverse he got a album or two that everybody loves, honestly his older music from 2015-2017 got a way more psychedelic pop influence and he’s more melodic (Songs like chill bae) on them two mixtapes and unreleased songs from 2017-18. Listen to Lil Uzi vs. The World, Perfect luv tape & Luv is rage 1 & 2 your probably enjoy more of his music Good video
Sorry in advance this is so long: Personally I feel like a lot of Uzi critique is unfair cause they blew so early and so hard. Uzi has always been a ''vibes" artist. Their artistry is a "surface level", catch a vibe, youthful angst-esque trap. Its dance music at the end of the day. To me EA2 is on par with everyone of their albums except Pink Tape which I agree is their best work. You are also right abt their catalog being "pumpfake-ish" but people have distorted the reality that Uzi is technically supposed to be a hit maker not an albums artist. 0 to very little introspection, just vibes. I personally love EA2. If you called them an aesthetic merchant or something along those lines i'd agree with no contest but at the end of the day they still from the 2014-2018 angst generation of rappers. The "dont care about hiphop OGs class" If you wanted to categorize uzi in an artsy way I'd personally put them as an "absurdist rapper" (yes even if its by accident or instinct). Literally everything hiphop stands for they basically at the complete opposite end of it. I personally don't think Uzi changed. I think people just now realized the not as "anti" as they thought. Like every other month or so 00pium and Uzi have satanist "allegations" when in reality everything the fans stand for (religious fans) is literally meaningless or fun to antagonize. If you dont like the album for the beats then nvm thats cool but if its for the content and lyrics then yall taking uzi too serious in the wrong categories.
This feels like a channel that’d have like 2 mil+ subs minimum this content feels crazy polished
@@gagereddish4831 that’s the goal lmao one step at a time :)
I really wish Uzi was actually rapping about aliens. Great bloody makeup by the way!
This is the reason why I'm a little nervous for The Weeknd's final album "Hurry Up Tomorrow" the rollout has been mixed to say the least
@@meggydon yessss I loved the last two albums so much but the rollout for this one has been weird I just want a strong, focused end to the trilogy

I totally agree, EA2 pales in comparison to any Uzi project at this point.

Honestly I think the track order is hurting this album the most.
