The only thing I would add is that if you use the option at @4:25, you do not need to reset the UTC off set for different parts of the world, it will always use whatever time you have set in the Simulator. Great series so far, thank you.
Are you talking about the "Disable Force Set Time" option? Because that would be really helpful. I started a job the other night without realizing and had to fly in the dark into Hartsfield-Jackson in Atlanta and that was so scary with how inexperienced I am.
Please keep up the series on OnAir. I'm in day two of the free trial, and even with the CEO operating manual it is not so easy, so anything you can clear up is appreciated. I'm expecting to go for the two year subscription when all is said and done.
I had "Use small airports" checked before and it sent me to 28OR in MSFS. That was ... interesting. Landed the TBM on a balacing beam and had to scrape the fuselage to get back out of there.
Same, I gave FSEconomy about 20 hours of flight time, about the same time into Onair now and I'll be extending my free trial, just a lot more to it, but it's a steep learning curve
@@mid_life_mtb I spent 6 days on the free trial before committing to 2 year sub. As you say steep learning curve. Glad I stuck with it . Crazy.
@@OZ1967 thanks for the tip about the Aerosoft shop, I haven't looked in their shop yet, but maybe they sell it at a lower price because you may buy something else from their store to make up the difference
Thanks Kiwi Mace for your vids. On the trial now flying 105 lb of tutorial cargo AYGA to YBSG. Ripper sunset passing through Torres Strait. Still feeling like a young kid going through my first driving test waiting to see how I do at the other end. :)
At 9:10 mark I had to leave I stop the tracking in mid air and cut off fs2020 came back home. I tried to restart the mission I hit the reposition button it had me on the ground. I hit Y and it flag me for crashing had to do it all over
Hello mate - I am trying to get do the tutorial in the free trial to work. I cannot get OnAir to connect fully to MSFS even though it says connected. OnAir does not recognize my plane, so tells me I am starting with no cargo or passengers. Nor will it follow when I start my flight. I am a newbie but think I have downloaded everything correctly. Perhaps a really basic tutorial video would help starting from the downloads to tutorial flight. Thanks.
Thank you for the Tips , Very needed for this program for beginners,; initially it was a steep learning curve with not every FAQ in the ceo manual, it is hard to get questions answered , very much appreciated for these tutorial videos. The in game maintenance notifications were very good , as a noob it surprised me and the count down from 1hr to 30 min to 20 min, etc. gave me confidence to finish off my flight. Great feature. What would be the correct thing to do or procedure to take , if I didn't have time to finish my flight session? Cheers. and how do you fast forward msfs? and or OAAM?
Thanks for these extra tips. I'm thinking about signing up for 1 year, but I'm not sure sure about how the subscription works. For instance it says in pricing for the 12 month option, Billed every 12 month. Cancel online any time. So does this mean that your billed at the end of the 12 month period, or the begining. I was hoping it was going to be a monthly transaction.
@@KonfettiFurzerTry 2 options, buy plane you want, get where it is and click checkride. Option B: rent an airplane type you want checkride and checkride it. All there is to it.

just submit a ticket through their support channels. I didnt recieve mine but created a ticket and was resolved within 30 mins. Great service they have!
Am a bit confused. So I fly to a destination with my cargo, then my character is then at that destination airport. How do I fly back and get the application to track that flight back? All I can see is the transportation feature which virtually takes your character to where you want, but this takes time and stops me from playing.
Hi Steve, you can rent an aircraft and fly it back empty (although its better to have jobs onboard) or you can take public transportation back (takes time). Best option is to find jobs that take you back, or close to where you want to be.
I'm wondering if I turn on all the easy settings if I can slowly adjust the settings later on when I get more comfortable with how it works or be stuck with it on easy the entire time.
@Mark yes you can adjust the settings later. There is a "survival" mode where pretty much all the easy settings are disabled. Players who play this mode are ranked on a leaderboard.
Air hauler is years old at this point. Even when I tried to get it to work years ago with FSX non steam I had a bitch of a time trying to get it to work. This program works on modern systems

Will this mode be on the console ?
Unlikely unless they find a way to integrate with the console.

Hey, not sure what that could be. I'd highly recommend jumping on the OnAir discord and someone will be able to help
So Ive got MFS running but OnAir does not have it for a selection on the drop down for selecting sim type.....any help?
You still OnAir'n it ? Im about to jump back into it.

User interface is a lot nicer on this, still feel it could look sleeker but its a nice upgrade from FS economy by a long margin
Agreed

I think XP from AI depends on your server. I'm playing on Cumulus and I do get XP for AI completing a job.

you can put your bonus pay on 90% for a while to make money to buy an aircraft then return it to zero % or whatever if you want.
Yes you can change the settings as you go, at least on the server Cumulus, I'm not sure about the other 2 servers

HOW DO I GET ONAIR TO DETECT MY PLANE!?!?!
This isn't a help desk for OnAir and spamming the comments section with caps isn't going to help your cause.
Onair is way too expensive for what it is.
