Fun fact: Alisha (the girl who plays Abigail / Matilda) is 'very' Irish. She had to do an english accent for Matilda and an american one for Abigail (and I think she does so amazingly)

@@josearroyo8008lol there is none. “Very” means “little” here because her real Irish accent is hardly noticeable in any of her interviews. Mathew Goode and Dan Stevens real British accents are way thicker than her Irish one.
just found your channel and I loved the reaction! I’m a little jealous of you guys for not knowing anything about the movie bc the trailer shows that she’s a vampire which I kinda wish they hadn’t revealed.

FUN FACT: the movie Abigail is loosely based on the novel Dracula's Daughter. So Abigail's father is in fact Dracula.
When he said "I've gone by many names" I had a feeling 'Dracula' was one of them. 🤔
It’s more based off the Universal Monsters film Dracula’s daughter
Abigail and ready or not is in the same universe the directors confirmed it so there might be a chance that this movie and ready or not gonna have a possible crossover

someone mentioned this in another comment but i found it really fascinating - the trailer/promotional material reveals that abigail is a vampire, and i think it goes to show how important that tidbit is. had it not been for that reveal, i think myself and many others would have enjoyed this movie that much more. i still like it and am completely enamored by alisha weir’s performance (she is truly fantastic both in abigail and in the matilda musical), but i think it would’ve been that much more delicious of a treat had the ballerina vampire of it all been kept a secret! that being said, i understand that they had to get butts in seats, and what else if not the vampire aspect?

Yeah, I completely agree that _not_ knowing who/what Abigail is definitely would’ve made the movie that much more fun to watch. But, you’re right when you say that they needed to get butts in seats. I honestly don’t even know what they could’ve put in the trailer had they not revealed that she’s a vampire in it. Furthermore, I also don’t know what the draw would’ve been without including it either. Thankfully the movie is still soooo much fun even when you know what’s up!
Though I am a bit jealous of those who went in blind, I also kinda doubt that I would’ve watched it had I not seen the trailer we got. But going forward I’ll 100% support Radio Silence in whatever they do. I loved/love Abigail, Ready Or Not, and both of their Scream sequels!

This movie was way better than expected. Sad they ruined the vampire aspect in the trailers, but damn this was amazing even with the reveal.
It does suck they did that but if they dont do that in the trailer then nobody goes and sees the movie.
What’s interesting that the song you hear throughout the film known as the Swan theme is well known to fans of the Universal Monsters as the opening theme of Dracula

Any horror film with Dan Stevens (Frank) is good. Highly recommend “The Guest”, “Apostle”, and “The Rental”.

at 46:51, Aww screw you. I really enjoyed Morbius. It wasn't perfect, but I thought they put a lot of cool details into it. So I gotta ask, have you actually SEEN MORBIUS, or are you just quoting pop culture?
I believe Niki's the only one of us who **has** seen Morbius. She said it was, and I quote, "the film of all time".
