It was very busy- a great atmosphere though, was nice to see you briefly- I was a bit worried bringing my 2005 Espace, but I needn’t have, so much variety, and great to be a small part of it! Thanks to all 😊
Hi matt thanks to all of you for a gd show today and the little convoy home did you manage to make it back in the Alfa ok or did u have to get it recovered and it was nice to meet you and the rest of the Furious driving family 👍
Sure there's lots of special but you find yourself staring open mouthed at what used to be everyday ordinary. The Peugeot 504, beautiful, the Morris 1100 magnificent ❤️
A superb show, thank you to everyone for all your hard work in organizing it. I will definitely be back again! You were seconds away from filming my Eunos Roadster V-spec at the far end of Mayfair 😂
It really was a fantastic show and loved every minute of it. Thank you Matt for getting a picture with me.. Was great meeting all my favourite Car UA-camrs and am pleased to say you are all just as cool in person as you are in Video.. My only regret is I wish I had something to show off in the exhibitors but I don't think a 64 reg Octavia estate would turn many heads. ;D.. Either way it was great fun and I got a Beany plus Magnets of the Crown Vic, Volvo and Alfa 147 (Please make a Eunos one. ;)) Your son is a great little business man.. He did a great job running your vender table.. But thank you all once again for producing this show and I will definetely be back for the next one. :)
I loved the part when my Skoda got mentioned "a modern Skoda" 😂, but seriously thanks for you, Steph, Ian, Carly and Matt for organising it all, it was a great day 🙂
Thanks to everyone who organised this, was a really great day. Mine was the red Volvo 740 saloon, so glad to see it on your video :) (Had to watch on a tablet as the shakiness when playing it on the big TV actually mades us all feel sick!)
Mine was the standard Rover Metro 1.1S in white next to the Blue Alfa. I was the poor soul who had his previous one stolen, joyriden and burnt out in Kent 😢😢
Brief appearance at 31:44 by the Sandero my brother and I rented because none of our classics are working and even the newish (20 year old!) daily let us down! Surprised to see people actually checking it out - though of all the vehicles Europcar could have given us I guess a Dacia is amongst the most Rustival appropriate!
It really was a very enjoyable day. My friend and I got talking to James Walshe at one point (he's a really nice bloke), plus someone who worked for Ford on the Mk1 Focus facelift - that's my Focus at 17:19. The almost identical one you commented on at 25:19 was actually behind me in the queue going in, but he parked somewhere else when I was hoping we could have parked next to each other.
You just drooled over a Multipla then sailed right past the Jensen Interceptor! I was so outraged I put my foot through the screen and sent UA-cam the bill!
I owned a Citroen Synergie ( l Fiat Ulysse with a Citroen badge ) for years. It had the 1.9 XUD engine. It was far more reliable and robust than an Espace or a Gdlaxy ( we'd owned both ). We covered over 50k miles using veg oil. We could drive 170 miles to the Norfolk coast for £13! Body started to show it's age when we sold it with over 200k on the clock. We would never see another one ( or the Fiat Ulysse or the Peugeot 806 ) 12-13 years ago.
I got excited for a moment, you nearly filmed my van 😆 Great show, enjoyed the eclecticism, needs to be a weekender with camping to enjoy them all to the full 😀 Nice to chat with you.
Hi @terryatkinson3182, Yeah the weather has been awful and various other grown up stuff being done. I have been amassing parts for a long awaited project so I will be back soon 😀
The second Ulysse I have seen of that generation, because I sold mine 6 days ago sadly, that one looks in mint condition to be fair so that’s a treasure! My one lives at an old nuclear base in Sandwich (Kent) now
Hi thanks for the comment.I'm the owner of the Ulysse you saw chatting to Matt. Going to give it some more tlc soon, mot not far off and valet to get it looking its best.
@@stephenlynch3411 how much fun do you have finding parts for it haha? Nice to see yours on the proper Ulysse wheel trims, getting hold of those is like finding buried treasure I found! What’s the mileage on yours?
@@iluvfionaleggateHi, yeah the wheel trims are near impossible to get now. Servicing and general mechanicals not a problem at moment. Not really needed any bespoke parts yet. I've watched a few videos of the show and it's all good, especially liked the cinquecentos i saw. Well done to the old lad who built his own 3 wheeler and won a prize
I'm really pleased you had a fantastic turnout and the weather was kind. I'd have liked to have been there but it was out of my Twizy's 40 mile range and my 8 year old Audi TT didn't seem appropriate. 🙂
Gutted I couldn’t attend this (work) in my Rover 75 Tourer V6 whose purchase was partly inspired by your video review of the Wedgewood Blue one three years ago. That review got watched several times during my hunt for the right example. Glad to see the high turnout of 75/ZT & Rovers in general & indeed all the Volvos, especially the boxy estates.
As i said on Ians stream i couldn't make it as I had arranged to collect a fridge and sofa-bed for a property i have purchased. However the drive to and from Droitwich where I collected my items was joyful as we caught a little white Fiat 127 around Redditch area and saw a load of the cars on the M40 motorway heading south and on the M42 we were passed by the Citroën BX GT heading home northwards.
