Why you would use vertical panorama mode: When taking photos in cities where buildings are close to gether and you want to take a picture of a specific building or landmark- often times you are too close to take a standard photo. Using the vertical pano, you can get that shot.
Even more fun example, on holidays with a person in front of nice nature/sky/beach background, hold your phone horizontal, then do pano but move your phone up to the sky so it becomes a really long picture. My goto camera used to be a really nice Canon Rebel t5i, which I still use. I shoot only in RAW for the flexibility of post editing. Great video. Thank you! The 1x main camera on my S23 seems to be in permanent "wide angle." It's definitely distorted looking. Is that normal for this camera, or is there a setting I can change to fix this? Thanks in advance.
In pro video mode, when you choose a frame rate ie 30fps does it change to variable frame rate to adjust for light or does is stay at 30 fps. Same question for shutter speed? This change has been a huge problem on my older galaxy phone with no pro mode. Thanks

Great day to you sir! I have a question. I noticed mic selection has to be made while in pro camera mode. Do the mic choices carry over into other camera modes as well or just pro mode? Like when using director view camera can I still use all the mic settings that are in pro camera mode?
Just got my new Ultra yesterday. Great phone! However, my zoom doesn't have great resolution, how do u adjust the resolution. Cuz honestly it looks like crap and I'm fairly certain it shouldn't. Or is there something else I've missed?
really good video, helped me a lot voice control is something a lot of phones have now. an even bigger show off is to use the S-pen as a shutter button...now thats something almost no one else has :)
Great how-to vid - even for a well-season fart like me. Is 'stacking frames' basically the new lingo for HDR (high dynamic range)? Or are the two processes different?
Thank you so much! It's very close to it. HDR was to take a few different exposures and combine them. Stacking frames is the same concept but to help optimise detail as well as dynamic range.
@@techwithbenefits Thanks for the clarification. HDR basically combines bracketed frames (over/under exposed) to optimize the lighting. I wasn't sure if 'stacking frames' was the same process under a newer name. So HDR deals primarily with lighting/exposure.....while stacking frames handles overall image quality.
What a great video! I just bought the s23 ultra and I see some differences from yours. Opening it to take a photo, I notice that mine only has portait photo video other, while yours also has portaitvideo . Do you know why??
Thank you for the kind words! If you scroll over in the camera you'll find the "More" tab. In that tab you can hold down to select a mode then drag it into position on the bottom!
For most of my use i leave it in 12mp, but I have scene optimiser on and also shot suggestions for everyday photos. When I want to take a specialised photo I'll switch to expertRAW and then switch between 12 & 50mp then
Were you demonstrating the S23 ULTRA or the S23? The video title indicates the S23, however your video shows the square shape phone which is the Ultra?? Due to cost, I was interested in seeing the S23 demonstration...thank you
It is the s23 ultra, a lot of the modes are similar if not the same, the only thing you miss is the 200mp and the 10x zoom. I do have a video where I compare the S23 to the A54. Could be worth a watch!
Phones by now should have built-in projectors and holographic displays....as well as the standard touch screen but....all around the phone 360...be virtually un scratchable unbreakable and fully waterproof and for once...dust proof ....and antistatic nanotech screens that never get dirty and are hydrophobic.....then I will be happy 😊
What do you recommend for a night time concert setting? Not in a huge stadium but an 8000 seat amphitheater. This will be the first time using the S23 Ultra and usually all of my concert photos and videos come out very blurry.
Hey! For videos I would give pro video mode a go, you can tinker with the settings to change exposure and shutter speed etc. For photos, use expert RAW, it's processing is incredible and can make a real difference for that environment. Both modes allow access to all cameras on the phone too!
That's a really good question! My best advice there will be to utilise the 3x zoom and take some steps back. It won't be a like for like replacement to the Ultra's offering, but it will be better than trying to get too close with the main camera!
@@techwithbenefits Thank you very much for good advice, that works on people! but if I take some small object like ring or jewerly it seems a bit blur 😂
Hi I have just ordered the S23+ so this was a great video on the cameras , are there any differences between the S23 and the S23+ . Thanks for a great video looking forward to getting the phone to use on my channel . Have Subscribed .Cheers
The S23+ is the same as S23 camera wise. The S23 Ultra has a few differences (10x zoom camera, 200mp main camera and it has a macro mode with its laser AF module). Other than those things, everything else in this video applies to you!
You know the phone is really good when you need a 30+++ minutes long video just to explain his camera modes👌🏻 S23U💥

I sure hope that's sarcasm. Worst phone ever. By the time the zoom is set to the right place for a photo, the subject is long gone.

This is a great video you're actually so easy to understand
This guy deserved more subscribers ❤️
Is there a way to put an oval or round frame around your photo?
Nice video.
really good video, helped me a lot
voice control is something a lot of phones have now.
an even bigger show off is to use the S-pen as a shutter button...now thats something almost no one else has :)
Awesome even though I have watched it late... UA-cam should recommend it top
Got a new subscriber here!!!, thanks for such an informative video
Are these features also available in vanilla and plus versions?
How can I get macro pics with it? It's always been one of the best features of Samsung, but in this one all close-ups are blurry. So frustrating.
Can the S23 use the Ultra wide lense and X3 Zoom in the pro video mode? Or is it limited to the main sensor?
Amazing video. Thank you. Subscribed
Thank you so much for all the help!
8:38 hello sir, i dont see where this studio light setting to tweak in S24 Ultra.. is there a setting i need to enable for it to dhow? Thank you..
Nice video mate.. Btw r u using s23 ultra to record this one
I am yes! Using portrait video mode
Excellent detailed explanation of the features. Thanks
@@techwithbenefits Thank you very much for the immediacy. I just signed up
Great camera analysis. Channel subscribed
Great work ! Keep doing good job dear. Thanks from India
I'm getting this phone in a couple days, what's your preferred setup for daily photos? I've heard 50MP and no Scene Optimizer. What are your thoughts?
For most of my use i leave it in 12mp, but I have scene optimiser on and also shot suggestions for everyday photos. When I want to take a specialised photo I'll switch to expertRAW and then switch between 12 & 50mp then
@@techwithbenefits awesome I’ll do the same then! Thanks!
@@techwithbenefits thank you...I will do that! I am interested in comparing the camera results ... thanks again
Glad I found this channel
Is the Pro video mode the same on the S23 and S23+?
Quality content anyway. I'm glad i found your channel. Keep it up!
Yes pro video mode is the same on s23 and s23+! Flagship Samsung's from the last few generations will have the same capabilities 🤙
@@techwithbenefits nice, thanks!
This is very informative. Thank you!
Great tutorial. Love it.
Great video. Thanks mate
@@techwithbenefits Thanks, I'll give it a look.
Do you have any tips for macro or close up videos on S23 base model? thank you very much
That's a really good question!
Hi all this things can we do it on a fold 4?
Your explanation is awesome. Thank you
Wow. Very humbled mate. You're most welcome but thank you too
Awesome channel. Very useful. Thanks for making this.
Thanks so much. Really helpful video.
Thank you so much for this awsome and detailed video..!! I've learned a lot!💪😊
No worries! Plenty more stuff to come! Great to have you here
Great explanation, thank you
Hi I have just ordered the S23+ so this was a great video on the cameras , are there any differences between the S23 and the S23+ .
Cheers @@techwithbenefits
@@techwithbenefits can I make astro photos and astro videos on the s23 (base model) too? Because I would love to capture the stars 🌟🤩
although it's a long video, this is super informative brother👏
Great video bro🙆♂️🤞it was so informative.....
Thanks for the video, i have already bought the phone❤
