I’m just getting into taxidermy trying to learn everything through videos. Been doing euro mounts and have a ton of customers. I would pay good money to be walked through/taught hands on like this. If you ever want to offer something like that, I will be the first to sign up!

@@thecedarridgechronicles not sure where you’re located, I’m in Virginia but I would take off work and fly to wherever to be taught how to do shoulder mounts even if it’s just for one day. You name the price and I’ll be there, I’m sure my subscribers would enjoy it also.
There are a handful of taxidermist that offer classes. Generally around $800 a day depending on who you go to.

@@thecedarridgechroniclesdefinitely agree! I think you should pick someone who shows interest every so often to do this same thing with. I’d love to see you do the same thing but continue the process to 100% completion. Like have Pablo come back and do the finishing process after it’s dried. Like you said, it’s a lot more instructive watching you teach someone. Shoot, I’ll make a road trip and do one with you if you ever need someone in the future!

I’m curious what’s that mount called? I’ve gotten so far done full sneak and 2 semi up right’s done bye my grandfather over the years he really doesn’t do them anymore. And says a picture is easier lol bye watching your videos help’s me learn the trade but maybe one of these days if I get a deer worth it. And you have the schedule I’ll get you to do one 🤘🏻

what is the best mounting stand that holds just one deer?
I use the floor stand McKenzie taxidermy supply sells and I like it but I’ve never tried any other to compare it to
