I just wanted to explore using the freecam but I found a lot more interesting stuff than I was expecting so decided to upload this 3:40 Evil Glumshanks uses his alpha appearance as the Tech Guardian here, which I don't think happens in the HD versions 5:45 They forgot to replace the happy face placeholder projectile lol 7:41 Kaos just A poses on you whenever he's talking, which also doesn't happen in HD versions
The Kaos sheep thought bubble on the Wii was so ugly asf literally the first time I saw it I thought it was just some fat bouncy old man instead until the Kaos sheep’s actually showed up
8:01 Ah yes, reminds me of how Tae didn’t know she was supposed to jump over those beams and would always either run from them or just get hit by them. She didn’t figure out she could jump them for like 9 flippin years 🤌
@@SkylandersMusicRips yeah, she didn’t know she could til she watched a gameplay vid on a different console and screamed when the player just hopped over it like it was nothing. Then she tried it, failed, died, and cried at me about it
@@TaeKwonWhoa if by “trying” you mean verbally abusing the tv screen in tears while failing to complete the no damage challenge (on easy) for the 80th time, then yes you were very much trying. Hooray

(Also somewhat unrelated, but on the topic of the wii version of this fight, i had Doom make a post about how i noticed during that replay that Phase 2 won’t start if you don’t move)
@@TaeKwonWhoa Yeah, the A-posing is a Wii only thing Phase 2 Kaos only throws in more enemies depending on the damage you deal so that's normal, kinda weird they coded it that way though
@@SkylandersMusicRips yeah I remember being surprised by the air geargolum in other gameplay videos because I’ve seriously just never seen it show up in the wii version and I’m convinced that it never will
It isn't actually rendering everything, you can see most of the platforms disappear as I move around. I'm guessing the different fight areas are technically one object so they stay loaded at all times
Swap force Wii is so cursed I love it 🙂 Also it’s much worse than trap team Wii, trap team Wii looks bad in comparison but it definitely looks like trap team if it was in the style of giants
It might be a while still. Since the file extractor doesn't fully work with Wii and Wii U textures yet, I'd have to delete my progress and use Dolphin's built in texture extractor.

I’m amazed that the Wii bothered to render the full Kaos model for this fight rather than just like a single piece of him per phase lol
Idk why but I enjoy the fact that Kaos has a comically small brain even in the giant form

God I forgot how compressed the voices and sound effects are on the Wii…

Don't have either of those and even if I did I don't think there's an emulator for them with freecam
